Directorate General of Taxes for Republic of Indonesia has an internal unit named data processing centre (DPC) that has main duty to process paper tax return delivered from tax office. DPC practically implemented new tax return processing system to replace the old system, however the performance of the new system was not on a par with the old one, at the beginning. Then, DPC made several improvements to increase new system's performance. This study aims to measure the improvements made by DPC by using Six Sigma approach. The approach is functioned to assess data processing performance through DMAIC concept: i.e. define, measure, analyse, improve, and control. With the DMAIC concept, improvement exposes better result, the average value of six sigma significantly escalated by 0.97 to 2.56.

Traffic Violation Detection system using radio frequency identification (RFID) has been applied to detect vehicles with limited power sources through RFID Tag. Camera sensors are also applied to identify a vehicle and its plate number through image and video processing known as computer vision. On the other hand, vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) to gain information about location, speed, and so on through the vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) connection. Lastly, the internet-of-things that is backed-up by cloud computing helps to store various information from each of these technologies and process them to get results. Many researchers have proposed and developed algorithms or technology with astonishing experimental results of them. However, there has been no review of the integration and reporting mechanism that correlates them. There has also been no review about how to connect the information to the authority and violator. Therefore, the review was made to explain each technology's method with their experiment's results and issues. Moreover, the future challenge also had been given to further research.

The problem of reporting service in *** is the complexity of the query to take the data from the table in oracle. There are many table to be processed for the data, because of that it's hard to show the report quickly. PT XYZ needs fast and reliable report to be shown, especially for control or audit. The suggested solution is to use data warehouse, because it has more structured storage and the data can be analysed by OLAP analysis that has the capability to show the data quickly. Data warehouse development was done through nine step that has been designed by Kimball and Ross. With this solution, PT XYZ has the capability to maintain quality of the product by monitoring the process and the data.

This study implements a mutation system for civil servants by using Naive Bayes Classifier Algorithm. This study is implemented in Secretariat District Regency of Pelalawan, Riau Indonesia, This system uses some attributes such as age, total work period, education background and implemented on a web based application. It can be done manually by a human or with a machine to make it easier. Data mining techniques such as clustering and classification can be used to help the categorization process. Clustering is a technique that can be used to grouped news based on their similarity. There is some algorithm that can be used to clustering data. One of them is Ant Colony Optimization (ACO). ACO is a metaheuristic algorithm that mimics how ants bring food to the colony. ACO also can be used to solve the clustering problem. In this paper, we will use the ACO version for clustering to cluster news and find the performance of the said method. Then we compare the result with ground truth.

It is an urgent need to find an objective way to estimate the degree of fatigue of employees. In this study, we designed a monitoring and estimation system for the degree of fatigue. This paper explains a long-term pedaling experiment that we use it to explore the possibility to use only the time sequence data of head movement during pedaling to estimate the fatigue. While we show the possibility for this through experimental data, it is clear that we need to collect more data to establish an estimation method.

The incorporation of an equivalent-input-disturbance estimator into a conventional sliding-mode control (SMC) system results in a new structure with improved disturbance rejection performance. This configuration enables an SMC system to reject unmatched disturbances. Simulation results for the positioning control of a dual-stage feed drive show that the method not only rejects unmatched disturbances, but also improves the disturbance rejection performance for matched disturbances, thereby demonstrating the validity of the design.

In the era of the global village, frequent cross-border trade in goods has made container transportation a significant part in delivery of cargo. However, rollover accidents of container trucks often occur because of tall truck height, improper cargo stowage or crooked roads. Therefore, how to find the optimal center of gravity (CG) of the packed cargo remains an issue that the transportation industry should not neglect. To optimize cargo stability and reduce the incidence of rollovers, this paper proposes a genetic algorithm that scores the cargo stacking process to find the best CG of the cargo based on the CG of the vehicle. According to the deviation angle and the point closest to the best CG, we can Figure out the optimal cargo stacking method.
