Attendance, presence, or attendance recording is very important for every lecture, office or other organizational activities. Currently, recording student attendance activities at Mercu Buana University is by calling one by one the students by the lecturer, then the lecturer signs attendance on the special application form for lecturers that have been provided. For this reason, it is necessary to design a database to create the database. The analysis used is SWOT to compare between Gaudy Booch and Ivan Jacobson methods. This comparison is used to find out which method is appropriate in implementing a better database. Based on the database design that is made to further facilitate archiving of attendance, increase data efficiency. From the results of the research with class diagram description objects, the class diagram and database model that we use is from Ivar Jacobson, because it shows how actors from class diagrams point to Object-Oriented Software Engineering that has advantages that are easy to learn and have notation simpler.

Children with autism have high sensitivity, so when they feel too much noise, they can't concentrate, and as time passes, they become isolated and autistic. High-sensitive pointers often present a self-protection behavior, perhaps by covering their hands with their own ears or by making a higher frequency noise, which is a way of comforting and stabilizing themselves when they are confronted with a strong disorder. It lowers the child's sensitivity to sound by conveying the voice directly through the body through bone conduction. By reducing sensitivity to the outside world and adj usting the interaction of sensory organs, this improves the ability of autistic children to focus less. In this paper, the comparison of auditory perception between bone conduction headphones and traditional headphones is further understood to understand whether the use of bone conduction is helpful to the improvement of the concentration of autistic children.

Understanding learning culture based on learning activities is important for learning success in an e-Learning. As an effort that can be done for this purpose, it is necessary to build a student learning culture based on students activities. The study proposes a Cultural Framework for Learning in an E-Learning. It is called E-LEEP Culture because used in an e-Learning the Equality Education program (E-LEEP). This framework has five key components, namely: Students, E-LEEP, Learning Activities, Learning Culture, and Digital Contents. Learning culture component in E-LEEP Culture Framework consists of sharing activities, getting information, discussingIndividualistic Learning, Collaborative Learning, Learning Time (learn a little), and Learning Time (learn a lot). Each of the components is expected as a basis for providing learning material that suits the needs of students.

Sign Language Recognition is a breakthrough for helping deaf-mute people and has been researched for many years. Unfortunately, every research has its own limitations and are still unable to be used commercially. Some of the researches have known to be successful for recognizing sign language, but require an expensive cost to be commercialized. Nowadays, researchers have gotten more attention for developing Sign Language Recognition that can be used commercially. Researchers do their researches in various ways. It starts from the data acquisition methods. The data acquisition method varies because of the cost needed for a good device, but cheap method is needed for the Sign Language Recognition System to be commercialized. The methods used in developing Sign Language Recognition are also varied between researchers. Each method has its own strength compare to other methods and researchers are still using different methods in developing their own Sign Language Recognition. Each method also has its own limitations compared to other methods. The aim of this paper is to review the sign language recognition approaches and find the best method that has been used by researchers. Hence other researchers can get more information about the methods used and could develop better Sign Language Application Systems in the future.

The utilization of social media by students can be seen as a strategy to improve the students' engagement in e-Learning. It is an important goal for the e-Learning of non-formal education. This study aims to propose a strategy using social media to increase students engagement in E-Learning for the Equivalency Education program (SosMed E-LEEP strategy). This strategy has several key components. These components are students, social media, E-LEEP, and Students Engagement. SosMed E-LEEP Strategy consists of sharing activities, getting information, discussing, and interacting with students and Tutor, and for learning purpose. This paper proposes a service desk to handle two important issues in financial company using the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework, i.e. Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) issues. SPOC is a gateway to information needs of both users and company staff, particularly the IT staff, while SLA defines the responsibilities of the parties where such services work and provides coverage for services provided to the client to achieve client satisfaction. The service desk is built by focusing in service operation. A service desk has been successfully built in this study to make user's problem controllable. This paper presents the development air quality monitoring system for indoor workplace that send measurement CO, CO2, PM2.5, temperature and humidity and send it via IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless communication. The problem is many sensor node for indoor air quality should not always send data to server in normal situation. It could spend power consumption and the data would send it periodically. Although the data send periodically, the sensor must handle emergency situation like fire. The results show that with controlled transmission interval not only spend power consumption but the device also good respond in emergency situation and user could monitor air quality remotely via web application.
