Indonesia had been suffered by earthquake and tsunami for many centuries. Since many lives have taken by tsunami strikes, alert and response system are very important as important part of Disaster Risk Reduction, especially in area with high population density. This research conducted in Kangkung fishing village in Bandar Lampung coastal area which is an earthquake and tsunami prone area. The aim of the research is to study alert and response of Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction. The research conducted by qualitative method and purposive-descriptive approach. There were 53 respondents which participated in the survey and interview. It is reported that 'Smart Resilient City' model suitable for community needs of alert and response of earthquake and tsunami disaster. This research meets conclusion that 'Smart Resilient City' model may become a great solution in Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction to cope with the hazard of earthquake and tsunami comprehensively and sustainably.

Most of the oil palm smallholders operate independently. As a result of this lack of support and assistance, oil palm owned by independent smallholders has the lowest productivity compared to large private (corporation) plantations and large state plantations. In addition, smallholder-owned plantations often operate without paying attention to sustainability aspects. There is a need for an effective, efficient, and user-friendly mentoring tool for oil palm farmers that are accessed independently. The Android-based platform was developed by applying an expert system to support increased production of oil palm cultivation for smallholders. Several stages of the expert system implementation, including the identification of planters and land profiles, were carried out using the direct interview method. The expert system includes land preparation management, planting material selection, seeding, weeds control, pests and diseases, fertilization, harvesting and transport, plantation administration, chat platforms, and data scrapping from data providers. The type of expert system is a data-driven Decision Support System (DSS).

The production gap between oil palm smallholder-owned plantations and corporations shows a real problem in the national palm oil industry. To reduce the gap, user-friendly assistance for smallholder-owned plantations is needed for the cultivation of sustainable palm oil production. Android-based software can be a platform for bridging the transfer of knowledge and technology, transfer of problems, and transfer of solutions between planters and experts. The platform development was formulated in five stages which began with Learning Management System (LMS) application development, identification of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Best Management Practices (BMP) materials, development of digital contents, uploading the digital content to the LMS server, and dissemination. The curriculum in the application platform was prepared based on the needs of the growers according to the identification results of the farmers' profiles. The curriculum consists of GAP and BMP material blocks. Each block was divided into discussion topics. The digital contents related to GAP and BMP were set in the LMS, which was built using Moodle platform.

For Indonesia to stay competitive in thepalm oil industry, the harvesting and evacuating process in its oil palm plantation need to be optimized. This research introduces machinerycalled as Smart Crane Grabber. This machinery can be used for automatic harvesting and evacuation process of oil palm fresh fruit bunch. To enable automation, Smart Crane Grabber is equipped with an Artificial Intelligencesystem for automatic ripeness sorting. TheArtificial Intelligence system developed for Smart Crane Grabber achieves 71.34% accuracy by using only 400 images as preliminary training data.

The rapid growth of e-commerce for sustainable industry in Indonesia leads to competition for customer acquisition. Instead of gaining loyalty, customers are trapped in a price war and take advantage to compare and choose the one with the best offer. This study aims to analyze important factors of an online retailer to determine customer loyalty in the productive age group. This study contributes to design a questionnaire that can be utilized in analyzing customer loyalty to a retailer in e-commerce (popularly known as the term e-tailer). The questionnaire can be distributed through the Internet to gather demography, population, and e-loyalty factors. Questionnaire design is proposed containing three parts: Part A – Demography, Part B – Targeted Population, and Part C - e-Loyalty Factors. While Part A records basic information and Part B validates, Part C records respondent's assessment to an e - tailer. Therefore, the outcome delivers a data engineering method to help e-tailers determine important factors to gain customer loyalty.
