The escalating visibility of secure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerabilities in API security, as indicated in the compilation of OWASP Top 10 API Security Risks, highlights a noteworthy peril to sensitive data. This study explores IDOR vulnerabilities found within Android APIs, intending to clarify their inception while evaluating their implications for application security. This study combined the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Insights were obtained from an actual penetration test on an Android app into the primary reasons for IDOR vulnerabilities, underscoring insufficient input validation and weak authorization methods. We stress the frequent occurrence of IDOR vulnerabilities in the OWASP Top 10 API vulnerability list, highlighting the necessity to prioritize them in security evaluations. There are mitigation recommendations available for developers, which recognize its limitations involving a possibly small and homogeneous selection of tested Android applications, the testing environment that could cause some inaccuracies, and the impact of time constraints. Additionally, the study noted insufficient threat modeling and root cause analysis, affecting its generalizability and real-world relevance. However, comprehending and controlling IDOR dangers can enhance Android API security, protect user data, and bolster application resilience. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper objectives to research the consequences of coding and compression on network performance. Network coding is the technique of encoding information before it is despatched over a network and has become an outstanding method to enhance community overall performance. Compression then again is used to reduce the size of the data before transmission, ensuing in quicker transmission time. This observe evaluates the effect those techniques have on network overall performance by measuring the bandwidth utilization, throughput, latency, and packet losses. A test becomes conducted to have a look at how the strategies have an effect on one of kind mixtures of information speeds, packet sizes, and facts loading. Results display that both strategies had a fine impact at the community overall performance, with network coding and compression having an extra effect on networks with higher facts hundreds. Moreover, the effects show that community coding had a greater impact on networks with larger packets, while compression had a more effect on networks with smaller packets. This studies gives insight into how community coding and compression can be used to enhance network overall performance. Coding and compression are important components of network performance that have been studied and tested to have a full-size influence on network pace, scalability, and reliability. Banking fraud became an important issue in India as there were several examples of such misconduct within recent years. This research aims to identify frauds in Indian banking sector along with impact of internet banking on consumers with particular focus on bank of Maharashtra. In the introductory part of the paper, number of fraud activities in Indian banking sector along with its relevance are discussed including significance of internet banking in today's world. In the literature review part, two themes are selected and analysed which are fraud cases in Indian banking industry and evolution of internet banking in India. For both these themes, data collected from previous studies and presented with critical evaluation. The research methodology section has included research philosophy, research approach, research design as well as methods & sources. Pragmatist research philosophy, inductive research approach and descriptive research design are selected for this particular study. The sources mentioned in the methods & sources section from which the selected articles and publications are gathered. The results and discussion section has mentioned different fraud cases of Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) including details of those cases. Moreover, the evolution of internet banking and BoM's approach to implement internet banking are discussed in the next part of the results and discussion. Finally, the major reasons of frauds in Indian banking sector are concluded in the paper along with future scope of the research. At last, several strategic recommendations for government and banking institutions are presented, introducing which can help to deal with fraudulent activities through more appropriate way. © 2023 IEEE.

In the current day, digital transformation is imperative;both customer demand and market competitiveness are mostly driving that trend. The fourth industrial revolution has also affected the financial sector. One difficulty that has to be addressed is the desire from customers for quick and useful services. Traditional procedures need to be replaced with digital ones. Furthermore, banking organizations will have a competitive edge in the current market if they are successful in this digital transformation process. Successful transformation, however, does not happen by accident;in fact, the likelihood of completing this change is seen to be very low, necessitating rigorous planning for a company that is ready for the future. There are several components to the preparation in question, both internal and external. Structural connectivity evaluation (SCA) is a powerful tool for characterizing mind circuitry and assessing nearby structural adjustments in the mind. Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) is a complicated magnetic resonance imaging technique used to determine the structural integrity of white be-counted tissue and to map the fiber pathways connecting excellent mind areas. This method allows for non-invasive exploration of structural connectivity for the motive of bdd5b54adb3c84011c7516ef3ab47e54, the underlying dynamics of mind networks. Coffee beans are one of the high-value commodities in Indonesia, but the sorting method for the quality of coffee beans still uses visual methods and sieves with mechanical machines. This study aims to provide an alternative to classifying coffee beans using Deep Learning algorithms, such as the ResNet-18 and MobileNetV2. The dataset used is USK-COFFEE which consists of two classes, the normal coffee bean class, and the defect coffee bean class. The models were trained using the balanced and imbalanced datasets, meaning that two scenarios were performed. From the results of this study, the accuracy value for the ResNet-18 model was 91.50% when trained on the balanced dataset and 90.87% on the imbalanced dataset. It outperformed the MobileNetV2 architecture, which only achieved 0.8125 and 0.8112 accuracy scores when trained on the balanced and imbalanced datasets, respectively. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.

Research on measuring digital talent competencies using explainable artificial intelligence is lacking in depth. The study aimed to address this gap by developing a reliable and valid measurement instrument for digital talent. SmartPLS 4.0 was employed for calculations and quality assessment. The measurement model was assessed from both reflective and formative perspectives, using Google Forms to gather responses from 600 participants. The 60 questionnaire items exhibited high validity and reliability, as evidenced by loading factors and composite reliability exceeding 0.70. Direct effects were found in various competencies: adaptability and flexibility had a 0.744 effect on learning dexterity, achievement orientation showed a 0.782 effect on innovative creation skills, customer service orientation had a 0.810 effect on digital networking, and digital communication skills exhibited a 0.824 effect on continual improvement. The measurement model met various criteria for reliability and validity, including loading factors, composite reliability, average variance extracted, cross loadings, Fornell Lacker Criterion, and Heterotrait Monotrait Ratio. These findings supported the acceptance of the measurement model's quality and validity. SmartPLS analysis yielded an average communality of 0.624 and an average R Square of 0.592, resulting in a GoF index of 0.608. This GoF index, according to Wetzel et al. (2018), falls in the high fit category, indicating the model's appropriateness for measuring digital talent competencies. In summary, the study successfully developed a robust measurement model for digital talent competencies using explainable artificial intelligence and demonstrated its high fit and reliability for assessing digital talent in various contexts. © 2023 IEEE.

Eye-tracking studies focused on art galleries and museums within the realm of Instagram, especially in the Indonesian context, are notably scant. This investigation elucidates the user interaction and experience of the art gallery’s Instagram account, @galerinasional. Employing a quantitative approach, we implemented eye-tracking experiments using the well-known online eye-tracking software RealEye. The study participants were followers of the National Gallery of Indonesia’s (Galnas) Instagram profile, seven women and three men, in two age brackets: 18–24 years (n = 5) and 25–34 years (n = 5). The experimental protocol required participants to execute five tasks centered on locating exhibition details and artwork on the Galnas Instagram platform, with a duration of 100 s allocated to each task. The Participant Quality Grade (PQG), examination duration, optimal browser dimensionality, K-factor mean, gaze and fixation frequencies, and heat maps were determined for the participants. The key findings are as follows. (1) The participants’ PQG scores were predominantly between 4 and 6. (2) Investigative browsing typically exceeded the 100-s limit. (3) The consensus on the ideal browser dimensions hovered around 1,368.6 × 814.8 px. (4) The K-factor mean across participants tended toward K > 0. (5) The average gaze occurrence was 27 items per second for most participants. (6) A noticeable disparity in fixation counts was observed between the two age groups, with individuals aged 25–34 demonstrating prolonged engagement with Galnas’ content. (7) Heat maps accentuated a pronounced concentration on visual content, encompassing photographs, videos, and their associated captions. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
