Rotating machines are absolutely used in many engineering tasks, such as "Energy transmission" given by compressors, turbines, pumps. However, these machines produce high decibels of noise, for this reason is necessary to attenuate noise by many mechanisms as passive criterion, but that cannot get good response under low frequencies domain or under disturbances. Therefore, in this research is proposed an active mechanism supported that is controlled by "Least Mean Square" (LMS) strategies to get noise attenuation in 3 dimension space, furthermore a "Vibration Control Analysis" by sensors based in nanostructures was realized. © WMSCI 2019 - 23rd World Multi-Conference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics, Proceedings. The transmission of movement by the motor to a mechanical system is because of rotor joined with mechanical bearings such as in context of compressors, pumps, turbines;that by their design and structure generates deficiencies as heating due to friction, which needs a constant use of lubricants. For this reason, the mechanical bearings are replaced by magnetic bearings, in order to avoid friction because there is not mechanical contact between the magnetic bearings and the rotor. Otherwise, magnetic bearings enhance efficiency such as speed of rotation due to eliminating vibrations. The active magnetic bearing (AMB) looks for positioning a rotor when forces and torque break the mechanical movement equilibrium also its stability. Therefore, this work according to the algorithm proposed tries to achieve precision control position as dependence of requirements parameters like response time, overshoot and error in steady state. © WMSCI 2019 - 23rd World Multi-Conference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics, Proceedings. Batteries are used for energy storage in various applications. Renewable energy systems, such as solar cells and wind turbines, produce energy depending on the weather. Because of that, batteries are needed in these fields to ensure energy availability. Electric vehicles also rely on batteries for energy storages. Therefore, the failure of battery management can result in large losses in various aspects. To prevent this, a number of studies on battery State of Health (SoH) have been carried out. SoH Prediction and estimation of have been applied using several methods such as SVM, deep learning, random forest and others. In many cases, these methods are applied by assuming that the change in SoH is a linear or nonlinear phenomenon. However, in this paper, it is found that SoH exhibits chaotic behaviors. Several well known methods such as Autocorrelation Function, Average False Neighbors, and Lyapunov Exponent are considered to identify the chaotic nature of SoH. The obtained results can provide a new understanding of SoH behaviors on batteries, especially for the development of battery management system, control and safety systems.

One of the reliability indicators of a solar cell system is the ratio of solar cell performance. The performance of the solar cell itself is obliged to be predicted so that energy providers can carry out certain plans related to the maintenance or replacement of solar cell systems if the efficiency of solar cells has been already obsolete. The prediction of solar cell performance can also be an indicator of potential failure in solar cell systems. Machine learning is used to estimate and to predict the performance ratio of solar cells. Principal Component Analysis - Support Vector Machine (PCA-SVM) is applied to estimate the performance ratio by using 35,227 rows of three years weather data from 2015-2018. Grid search is then applied to find optimal SVM parameters in estimating performance ratio. The collected data are also used to predict future performance ratio. Prior data decomposing of performance ratio is done to obtain data trend and eliminate noise which causes low prediction accuracy. SVM and Multiple Linear Regression are used to predict performances ratio using one-step time series method. MSE, RMSE, R 2 and MAPE will be used to evaluate the best way for predicting performances ratio of solar cells plants. The PCA-SVM leads to the accuracy of RMSE = 0.11 and R 2 = 0.44. For prediction, SVM and Multiple Linear Regression are compared to see machine learning that produces the best accuracy. Using the one-step method, SVM results in better prediction results compared to Multiple Linear Regression. Two weeks timestep prediction produces the smallest RMSE and MAPE and the highest R 2 both by using SVM or Multiple Linear Regression.

The proliferation of heavy metal contamination, namely, lead and copper, has emerged as a pervasive worldwide peril to human existence. One potential solution for addressing this issue is the utilization of nanoparticle adsorption, specifically for nickel oxide nanoparticles. However, to promote environmental sustainability, scholarly studies have identified green synthesis as a prospective methodology. The process of cadmium phytoremediation, although offering a potential remedy for heavy metal contamination, gives rise to apprehensions surrounding the proper disposal of cadmium hyperaccumulator plant biomass. Hence, it is imperative to establish suitable strategies for the disposition or usage of this biomass. The utilization of hyperaccumulator extracts for the eco-friendly production of nickel oxide nanoparticles remains unexplored in the current literature. The main aim of this research is to explore the possible application of Lactuca sativa L. as a plant species with the ability to accumulate high levels of cadmium. The study also seeks to examine the efficacy of utilizing these plants in the fabrication of nickel oxide nanoparticles and evaluate their capacity to absorb lead and copper ions. The characterization of nickel oxide nanoparticles is conducted through a range of techniques, encompassing scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, X-ray fluorescence, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller spectroscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometry. The present work achieved successful utilization of Lactuca sativa L. extract for the manufacture of nickel oxide nanoparticles, which showed notable efficacy as an adsorbent for lead and copper. The synthesis of nickel oxide nanoparticles using an extract from Lactuca sativa L. has demonstrated the viability of utilizing hyperaccumulator biomass in the phytoremediation of cadmium. Breast cancer is the leading type of malignant tumor which is observed in women. The effective treatment depends on its early diagnosis. The gold standard of breast cancer is histopathologic examination of cancer cells. The determination of the grading in breast cancer is determined by three factors: pleomorphic, tubular formation and cell mitosis. This paper uses pleumorfic and tubular formation pattern from breast cell histopathology images. The proposed system consists of four major steps : preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction and classification. We use k - means clustering method for image segmentation and use Gray level Cooccurence Matrix (GLCM) for feature extraction with four features (i.e. angular second moment, contrast feature, entropy feature, and variance feature). The final step is grading classification which uses Backpropagation Neural Network. Some of important parameters will be variated in this process such as learning rate and the number of node in hidden layer. The research gives good result for the identification of breast cancer grading with 88% accuracy, 85% sensitivity, and 80% specificity. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Hemoglobin is the protein molecule that binds oxygen in the blood. Hemoglobin level can be used as a benchmark of the human physiological condition, such as anemia, hypoxia, and postoperative bleeding. Generally, measurement of hemoglobin levels is performed by an invasive method that takes blood samples to be tested. This study offers a tele-monitoring system for measuring the hemoglobin level non-invasively, so it could reduce the possibility of infection or contamination to the body and can be monitored anywhere by using a website. This tele-monitoring device of non-invasive hemoglobin and oxygen saturation levels were designed by integrating the pulse oximetry sensor with signal conditioning circuit, Arduino Uno as a microcontroller, Ethernet module, an internet network, cloud server, and website. Pulse oximetry measured the oxygen saturation in the blood that indicate the vital state of human and became essential to determine the amount of hemoglobin level. The system performance in this study was tested on participants who had a good daily exercise and participants who never had daily activities to discover the correlation between hemoglobin levels with human physical activity and obtained 89% of accuracy. This system can be implemented as a personal device for monitoring the hemoglobin level and the oxygen saturation in daily used.

Detection of gas concentrations based on age on Staphylococcus aureus biofilms with gas array sensors

Bacteria that have developed in the biofilm phase will be more resistant to antibiotics and emit gases that have certain characteristics. One dose of culture from Trypticase Soy Broth (TSB) (Merck, Germany) was inoculated into 10 mL of Trypticase Soy Broth (TSB) (Merck, Germany) and homogenized for a concentration of 0.5 McFarland (10-13 CFU / mL). The suspension was detected by ELISA reader (λ 595nm)Based on the results that have been obtained, the sensor on the gas array instrument can detect both a variety of distinctive gas patterns in S. Variations in shelf life and variations in the types of samples provided can be tracked both by the entire sensor. This is indicated by the emergence of a unique and different sensor voltage output pattern in each variation. The processing of sensor output using the PCA (Principal Component Analysis) method can accommodate 86.45% of the data variation, including the first component and the second component respectively 70.4% and 18.1%. Through the PCA method, each variation of bacterial treatment can be classified properly, so it can be used to clearly distinguish the age of bacteria and biofilm age. When loading the PCA plot, the MQ2 sensor shows the most responsive results to gas changes. Meanwhile, the MQ136 sensor ranks second as the most responsive sensor to measure the life span of bacteria and biofilms.

Binding force in the form of spring force binds two adjacent spherical grains and based on this interaction various structures of composite particles can be constructed. In this work only composite particles up to N = 4 are discussed, where N is number of spherical grains in a composite particle, and the forms are limited to the two-dimensional cases only. There is only one structure of composite particle for each value of N for 1 < N ≤ 2. For N = 3 there are five structures and for N = 4 there are fifteen structures. Between spherical grains from different composite particles only two types of force are considered. The first is a long-range attractive force in the form of gravitation force and the last is a short-range repulsion force in the form of normal force. The first type of force will help the aggregation process, while the second will prevent two spherical grains to collapse into a single grain due to the first. It is observed that the time required to produce the compact aggregate or T is dependent on N, where larger N makes larger T.

This research describes the method of manufacturing process planning of hole manufacturing, which in every machining process consists of several individual operations with various types of punching blades. The process of setting the trajectory is one of the problems of holes manufacturing process because this process takes a long machining time and often it obtains undirected sequence path that sometimes causes stress material and the damaged of punching blades. The aim of optimization process is to minimize the processing time of holes manufacturing so the time function which is obtained can be converted in the form of energy consumption that helps manufacturers to predict the machining time. Dynamic Directed Graph is applied where each node represents a machining operation. The time function is obtained by studying the shortest path of a directed graph where the structure of objectivity studied is similar to the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). The mathematical model is used to solve the hole optimization problem of the graph structure by proposing the combination of both to solve the optimization problem. The Algorithm realization will be applied in real time CAD / CAM programming by using TOPS300 which is used for TRUMPF TC200 Punching Machine. There are 2 kinds of blade operations in this research which are single stroke operation and multi strokes operation. Both produce different time function. By a. Finally, some conclusions are given from examples that show the hybrid algorithm of Simulated Annealing and Genetic Algorithms is effective in reaching higher optimization performance and less energy consumption, which 26.02 seconds for single stroke operation and 126.02 seconds for multi strokes operation with the acquisition of logical path results with the absence of intersecting trajectories.
