This study aims to investigate the adoption of robo-advisors in the Indonesian insurance sector, focusing on key factors influencing their acceptance, such as trust, anxiety, performance expectancy, preference for human advisors, attitude, and perceived privacy. The research employed a quantitative approach using a structural equation modeling (SEM) technique through Partial Least Squares (PLS). Data were collected via a Google Forms survey distributed to 442 valid respondents using purposive sampling, with the study conducted in Jakarta, Indonesia. The findings revealed that performance expectancy, anxiety, preference for human advisors, and perceived privacy significantly impact the intention to use robo-advisors, whereas trust and attitude showed limited influence. The study concludes that while robo-advisors hold potential in enhancing efficiency and personalization, concerns such as user privacy and the need for human interaction remain critical. Insurance companies should prioritize robust data privacy measures and consider hybrid models combining robo-advisors with human advisors to enhance user trust and satisfaction. Implications for practice include fostering user trust through transparent data handling policies and providing educational resources to mitigate technology-related anxiety. Limitations of this research include its focus on respondents in a single geographic region and its reliance on self-reported data, which may introduce biases. Future research should explore the application of robo-advisors in broader insurance markets and examine their long-term impact on user behavior and financial decision-making.

In this study, a combined approach using the Software Usability Measurement Inventory (SUMI) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is employed to evaluate an e-commerce application's usability and user acceptance. Usability plays a significant role in shaping consumer satisfaction, while user acceptance is crucial for the application's success in a competitive market. This research explores how users interact with the platform, aiming to identify usability issues and factors influencing user acceptance. Key usability criteria, including visual appeal, information clarity, and ease of navigation, are analyzed alongside TAM constructs such as perceived usefulness and ease of use. The study's primary objective is to uncover the platform's strengths and weaknesses, providing insights into functionality, design, and user acceptance. By addressing identified usability concerns and understanding the factors driving user adoption, the research aims to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement. Ultimately, the findings are expected to guide the development of a more user-friendly interface, improving the e-commerce platform's overall effectiveness, user experience, and market competitiveness.

Willingness to participate (WP) in community-based management depends on various factors such as a sense of community, perceptions, beliefs, and demographic characteristics. This study first evaluates the WP of locals (n = 100) in water management in the Ba River Basin – Highlands of Vietnam, where ethnic minority groups are living and working in the agricultural sector. The multivariable linear regression model is applied to explain WP through the factors including the sense of community (SC), dependance on river water (DW), perceptions of current water resource management (PW), level of income (IN), gender (GE), education levels (ED), and place of residence (PR). The results showed that the final regression model explains 67.9% of the variation in WP levels (R2 = 0.679, p 0.05) in this model. Sense of community and perceptions greatly influence community participation. To boost willingness, periodic training and campaigns are needed. Additionally, improving legal frameworks can encourage greater community involvement in water management programs. © 2025 The Authors.

In TFT-LCD (thin film transistor-liquid crystal display) manufacturing industry, achieving accurate defect detection is a critical and a complex task, which involves using optical inspection technology to capture images of the testing objects and classify defects by image recognition. However, using cameras to capture panel images often results in moirè patterns, which can distort the appearance of defects, making defect classification challenging. Previous studies on moirè pattern removal in TFT-LCD panel often relies on paired data with labels. This study proposes a new method for eliminating moirè patterns without label data, and we propose 3-phase self-consistent generative adversarial networks (3SC-GANs) considering the frequency loss, compared with other existing supervised and unsupervised models. An empirical study of a leading panel manufacturer is conducted to validate the proposed model, and the results show that the proposed model outperforms other benchmark methods by evaluating image quality and defect classification metrics © 2025 IEEE.

This study was conducted to generate an Enterprise Architecture planning using The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), Architecture Development Method (ADM) Framework through phases from Preliminary, Requirement management, Architecture Vision, Business Architecture, Information System Architecture, Technology Architecture, until Opportunity and Solution. Contribution of Information systems and Information Technology were required by companies to provide an easy way in the exchange information systematically within the company, and its application was in line with the company's business goals. However, there were still found a company where this case study was conducted that had not yet comprehensively considered the implementation of it. This indicated that the implementation of Information systems and Information Technology within the company are not well planned. Research conducted was a case study that paid attention to a particular case conducted on individuals or organizations as a study material. In the case study, research was focused on finding and collecting data on research objects to provide solutions to problems that are happening so that this research is descriptive and exploratory. This study, resulting in the IT master Plan, consists of enterprise architecture planning to overcome the existing problems through the proposed solution concepts in modularity, integrated systems, standardized platforms, and service-oriented. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Technology advancement generates new opportunities to make current business flow simpler and efficient, especially in P2P lending business model. Many companies create online digital platforms to promote new customer experience as marketplace or mediator between lender and borrower to make it easier to interact with each other's. Often transactions that happen inside the platform is not transparent that many lenders accidentally lend their money to problematic borrowers, resulting the lender cannot get their money on time. The purpose of this research is to design a smart contract system in marketplace lending using blockchain technology. The lack of lender control and trust in P2P lending platforms to select the right borrowers can be overcome by implementing blockchain systems and smart contracts. The findings of the field study and literature review show that not only blockchain and smart contracts can provide lenders with better information when selecting borrowers to carry out various transparent transactions, but also speed up the lending business process itself. In the blockchain system, all historical data is stored and thus can improve the process of checking data in the system. Implementing a blockchain and smart contract system on a P2P lending platform can increase trust, reduce delays and be more transparent. © 2023 IEEE.

Big data is a new technology that is able to display pattern analysis and connections in data that can only be created by using big data, while management control cannot be separated from the role of supporting data, without which the control does not have a strong foundation and can influence the main objectives of management control. This study aims to investigate the role of big data in management control, such as what insight the organization knows about big data and how it is treated and whether big data influences management control over the organization. This study using qualitative research on research methodology. The data collection technique is conducted by interviewing two people representing an organization and carried out to three organizations in Indonesia. The result of this study, Although the organization recognizes the greatness of big data especially for proper management control, it is constrained by the large costs of collecting and processing big data, which exceeds the core operating costs of their business, and they are not ready for big data processing because they are faced with special expertise needs in running big data that they don't already have. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. To handle internal complaints, some companies have implemented a helpdesk system while some other processes are still carried out manually. The helpdesk ticket is categorized manually by human operators. This procedure prone to be an error resulting in many tickets bounced to the wrong business unit and delaying the complaint handling. In this study, an automated problem categorization based on the title of helpdesk ticketing using machine learning is studied. The results show that the random forest classification has the highest accuracy value of 82%. © 2020 IEEE.

Bitcoin Exchange industry in Indonesia continues to grow, as evidenced by the emergence of new exchanges that offer competing features and facilities, to determine strategies for creating and increasing user loyalty. The study examines the factors that influence bitcoin exchange user loyalty by determining the essential factors that affect user satisfaction and user loyalty in the bitcoin exchange business. The factors used in this study are Image, Cost, Promotion, Security Privacy, Reliability, Efficiency, Information, Communication and Value-Added Services. The results of this study are, based on the largest order of influence, Promotion, Cost, Image, and Security Privacy have a direct influence on Satisfaction. Promotion, Cost, and Security Privacy also have an indirect influence on Loyalty. Bitcoin Exchange Users Satisfaction has a very large effect on Loyalty of 76.7%. © 2019 IEEE.

In the health industry, the development of technology makes all of its related activities easier and faster. Cloud computing can facilitate controlled distribution of blood by using an information system. The problems that occurs in the distributions of blood at the hospitals in Indonesia are sometimes the distributions are not controlled, so the blood may run out of stock caused by inequality of blood needs, difficulty in finding blood donors, and don't have an integrated system. The purpose of this study is to propose a connecting system that integrates Indonesian society who can be personal donor to help blood supply availability of UTD PMI using BBIS (Blood Bank management System) based on cloud computing. The research methodology is collecting data with a systematic literature review and referring to previous studies, related to the current conditions in Indonesia.
