In the rapidly urbanizing context of major cities such as Jakarta, the demand for efficient and rapid laundry services poses a considerable challenge, particularly within residential settings like boarding houses or dormitories in Central Jakarta, where access to communal laundry facilities is markedly constrained. Against this backdrop, laundry enterprises categorized under Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the service sector have witnessed significant growth. These services typically encompass the collection, washing, drying, folding, and delivery of laundry to the customer's domicile. Nevertheless, the burgeoning proliferation of laundry businesses has precipitated intensified competition within the sector, compelling these enterprises to devise strategies for customer retention and revenue augmentation. This research endeavors to delineate effective strategies and solutions to navigate the competitive landscape of the laundry industry. The study undertakes a meticulous evaluation of various machine learning algorithms, including Decision Tree, Logistic Regression, Naïve Bayes, Support Vector Machine, Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, and CatBoost, based on their performance with unseen data. This evaluation employs a comprehensive set of metrics such as precision, recall, Fl-score, and ROC AUC to determine the efficacy of each model. The findings reveal that the CatBoost Classifier algorithm outperforms others, achieving a training accuracy of 95.9% and a testing accuracy of 85.7%. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive comparison of multiple machine learning algorithms in the context of MSMEs in Jakarta's laundry sector, highlighting the superior performance of the CatBoost algorithm. Furthermore, the study contributes by demonstrating the practical application of these algorithms to improve customer retention strategies, enhance service quality, and optimize marketing tactics. High persistence is a major business objective that wants to be achieved by insurance companies. To achieve high persistence, insurance companies need to be able to maintain their customers. Currently, the majority of insurance companies in Indonesia don't have an appropriate system in place to retain their customers. This paper presents an approach using data mining techniques to help such a company in dealing with customer churn. We explore some data mining techniques using real data from PT XYZ, an Indonesian based insurance company. The techniques implemented in this work are supervised learning methods, which are Decision Tree (DT), Naïve Bayes (NB), and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). It turns out that DT produces the best result with 91.3111% accuracy and 0.970 of AUC, followed by ANN and NB. With this level of accuracy, it is recommended that PT XYZ Insurance and Indonesian insurance company in general, may use the Decision Tree method for the customer churn prediction model. © 2020 IEEE.

The transformation in education is expected to help people to have an effective and efficient learning without concerning of cost and time by using internet technologies. On the other hand, IT world levitates demand of talented employees. In current situation, modern higher education is considered inadequate to deal with the demands. Modern Education in Indonesia is encountering a complex situation for higher education. The complex ecosystem intended to deliver learning material and develop potential talent to become expertise. We proposed the SOA system architecture which create a new ecosystem based on SOA. It will give student and other stakeholders have interconnected learning systems. We proposed SOA system architecture and SOA system reference for interconnected modern higher education in Indonesia. Its purpose is being interconnection between students, lecturers/instructors, universities, financial institutions, fund institutions, and employers/industries. In the end, we should be able to create powerful tools that have seamlessly connected platform which offers a valuable service. Recently, the disruption of blockchain technology has changed the business world, including supply and use of electrical energy. The article addresses the advantages of blockchain technology to a national utility company to act both roles as producer and consumer (prosumers) of electricity to maximize all electricity capacity. The prosumer role encourages the collaboration of independent small and medium utility producers in a business ecosystem to assist managing national wide electricity distribution. The article uses the Blockchain 2.0 framework that links all parties in prosumer role in smart contract mechanism. Participants in the system enable to exchange their data transactions in open platform collaboration easily and securely. The outcome of the article is expected to invite more startups to participate to assist national utility company in efficiently manage electricity investment and distribution. © 2022 IEEE.

This study aims to identify the determinants of information system strategic planning in companies that are considered not in line with corporate strategic planning. There is a discrepancy between performance targets and their achievement, it is urgently necessary to carry out an evaluation related to the performance indicators used and the method of measuring performance. So that the long-term targets that are not achieved, the annual targets for the current year, can be identified with certainty the causal factors. Once these factors are identified, a model that succeeds in achieving the strategic goals developed by the company will provide steps for the company that can be used as a reference in the future. A quantitative approach through a questionnaire as a research instrument was carried out and data processing used factor analysis and regression analysis. The results obtained indicate that there are three factors that affect alignment between corporate strategic planning and corporate information system strategic planning, namely new factors related to the leadership model & company support, the target of achieving business performance, and awareness of understanding company policies and directives. The existence of this new factor is important for the success of companies engaged in the management of clean water and sanitation because it achieves alignment between the company's planning strategy and the company's information system planning strategy and can be modeled. © 2023 IEEE.

The rise of music streaming services has led to significant challenges in royalty management, particularly affecting independent musicians who face poor royalty payments and a lack of transparency in royalty calculations. This research explores the application of blockchain technology to address these issues, focusing on its potential to revolutionize royalty management within the music industry. The study provides a conceptual framework for understanding music streaming services, digital music piracy, and royalty transparency, analyzing the impact of blockchain on revenue generation in the Indonesian music industry. Utilizing a literature review, case studies, and a theoretical framework, the research investigates the effectiveness of blockchain in enhancing transparency, and fairness in revenue distribution, and rights management. Through purposive sampling and the analysis of BitTorrent as a case study, the results highlight the trans formative potential of blockchain in the music industry, particularly in addressing the 'value gap' in unallocated royalties and improving revenue generation for musicians. The findings underscore the significant implications of blockchain technology for the future of royalty management and the overall music ecosystem. © 2024 IEEE.

With good engineering, information can be assets that will be value the organization especially in financial technology industry. Uang Teman is and organization that provide peer to peer lending services in financial technology industry. Information system security is very important for Uang Teman to make business strategy and to run the business. However, there are no standard operational procedure for information systems security and accurate incident risk handling that has been implemented at Uang Teman. Potential exports from Indonesia's economy include agricultural products. Red chilies, especially the curly red chili, are one possible horticultural product that might be produced. For the longest time, the process of sorting chili by various firms in the processing sector, chili exporters, and chili farmers has traditionally been done manually and includes several human resources as the decision-maker. The process of sorting chili manually has many disadvantages, such as the long time required, human visual limitations, and the psychic conditions of the observer. The development of machine learning image processing technology makes it possible to sort agricultural products and plantations automatically. One of the deep machine learning methods techniques is VGG16 models from the Convolutional Neural Network method which currently has the most significant result in image recognition is VGG16 models. The classification accuracy value obtained is 93.3% with kernel size 3x3 and batch size 32 at epochs 50 using the RGB input image. © 2023 IEEE.

Blockchain is one of the products born from the rapid development and growth of technology which is common in Industry 4.0. However, Indonesia has not implemented blockchain in the government sector until now, even though this is an important thing to create a safe and transparent system for its citizens and to improve technological development in Indonesia so that it can always keep up with the times. Even though Blockhain technology can be used in the design of any system, including the creation of a Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian (SKCK) because the use of blockchain in SKCK can help secure the data of every resident. The research method used is descriptive analysis of the results of the various literatures studied. The purpose of this research is to design a system for making Police Record Certificates (SKCK) by utilizing blockchain technology using an Enterprise Architecture approach. From here it is analyzed using several diagrams such as Use Cases and Flowcharts to be able to describe the needs and business processes of an SKCK system. The conclusion of this research is that Blockchain implementation is very necessary because Blockchain implementation can make SKCK data and information more secure and verifiable using immutable hashes. © 2022 IEEE.
