We have built an instructional design support system called "FIMA-Light" which reasons about a teacher's intentions from his/her lesson plan and automatically produces I-L event decomposition trees. The decomposition tree expresses the ways of achieving a learner's state change that should be realized in a whole lesson in the form of a tree structure. In this paper, we discuss the difficulty of attaining the goals of university education without using our approach. We also report on practical use of FIMA-Light in teacher training at university in order to investigate changes in students' awareness of teaching strategies brought about by providing them with I-L event decomposition trees.

We have built an instructional design support system called "FIMA-Light" which reasons about teacher's intentions from his/her lesson plan and automatically produces IL event decomposition trees. In this paper, we discuss a particular use of IL event decomposition trees produced by FIMA-Light in a teacher education program. First, we consider effective alignment between teacher education at university and teaching practice in the classroom. We also report on trial use of FIMA-Light in teacher education at university in order to investigate the usability of the information expressed by IL event decomposition trees.

With the digital development and the global trend of information technology applying teaching and learning in recent years, every country around the world regards the promotion of e-learning as a very important policy of the country. They lay special emphasis on the development of the subject research in e-learning. The present study adopts the search strategy of generalized definition of e-learning and collects 2,125 SSCI periodical literature in total on e-learning field from the years of 2000 till 2009. They are analyzed with automatic context exploration tool CATAR to proceed to dissection. Then they are respectively analyzed with co-occurrence words and bibliographic coupling to proceed to the research subject analysis. Thus it can integrate the frames of research subjects of e-learning field. Not only can the results of the present study help the researchers to look into their own field specialty, to master the development situation of research subject dimensions and to make reference to the scholars and experts to determine their research subjects, but it can also help understand the research development status of international e-learning field.

The challenges which stood as an obstacle to the naval force development are discussed. The main challenge in the national security environment is to be virtually available anywhere in the world at the behest of the national command. It is observed that in surface warefare coast guard has the most applicability and expansion of their surveillance area will help in engaging other vessels away from the manned platform. It is also observed that the relationship with mission modularity and the growth between the coast guard and the navy has attracted interest among the international community.

Most recently he served as program manager for Gas Turbine Surface Combatants (PMS 314) and Surface Combatants (PMS 330). USS Ingraham (FFG-61) is the prototype ship for NavSea's Advanced Technical Information System (ATIS). ATIS is a digital technical library, which holds on optical disks the ship's 2,000 technical manuals and 73,000 drawing sheets. It contains a detailed ship's configuration index (derived from SCLSIS) to lead the user to the proper drawing or manual, and it replaces the ship's aperture cards and the second (library) copy of the technical manuals. ATIS, and the data standards established and tested through ATIS development, will be the technical library portion of micro-SNAP and SNAP III. It also forms an important part of NavSea's plans to utilize EDMICS data. This paper describes the goals and technical concepts behind the development of ATIS. Problems encountered, solutions developed, and lessons learned are detailed. Special attention was paid to the application of the Computer Aided Acquisition and Logistic Support (CALS) standards, problems caused by conflicts and ambiguities in those standards, the standards. Original program goals are compared with actual operational experiences. Plans for future expansion are outlined, including applications of this technology in the availability planning and execution process. A comparison is developed among the various methods of optical imaging and their costs and benefits.
