In 1995 he entered the Master's program at the University. Received his B.S. degree from Yamanashi University in 1972 and his Ph.D. degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1977. In the same year he became a Research Associate at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. In 1979 he became an Associate Professor at Nagaoka University of Technology the position he holds currently. Between 1981 and 1983 he was a Visiting Researcher at Bath University. He has been engaged in research on optical waveguides opto-integrated circuits optical amplifiers and quantum well devices. He is a member of IEEE and the Japan Applied Physics Society.

He is now enrolled in the Ph.D. program at the same university. He has been involved in research on microwave plasma CVD. He is a member of the Japanese Society of Applied Physics. Received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electronics and Communication Waseda University in 1967 and 1973 respectively. In 1973 he joined the faculty of Waseda University becoming an associate professor in 1978. He was Visiting Professor at Manitoba University Canada in 1979–1981. He has supervised research and participated in joint research with die Canadian National Research Council. He became a professor at Waseda University in 1993. He has been involved in research on microwave plasma CVD photonics lasers electronic materials evaluation technologies photonic materials opto-quantum electronics and semiconductor dun films. He is a member of die IEE of Japan die Japan Society of Applied Physics die TV Society die Japanese Vacuum Society and IEEE. Received die B.S. from die Department of Electronics and Communication Waseda University in 1994. He is now enrolled in die master's program at die same university. Since 1992 he has played a major role in the development of the shipyaRD's bilge and oily wastewater disposal program. Previously he served aboard the USS Benjamin Franklin (SSBN 640) where he qualified for his Submarine Gold Dolphins and received two Navy Achievement Medals and the Battle Efficiency “E.” Lt. Gensure graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1986 and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School in 1992. He attended Northrop University in Inglewood Calif. where he earned a bachelor of science degree in aircraft maintenance engineering in September 1971. He was selected for Officer Candidate School where he was commissioned an ensign (Aeronautical Maintenance Duty) in August 1972. Cdr. Ciarula has been assigned to VA-37 The AIMD at NAF Kadena Okinawa Japan VXE-6 and the USS Forrestal. He was the wing maintenance for training officer for Air Wing Three at NAS Chase Field in Beeville Tex. and the AIMD officer at NAS Key West Fla. In 1988 Cdr. Ciarula was assigned to the Cruise Missiles Project (PEO-CU) where he was the TASM class desk officer and the director of logistics. While at the Cruise Missiles Project he was awarded his master of science in general administration from Central Michigan University. He is currently assigned to PMA-205 in the Naval Air Systems Command. Vincent F. Neradka:received B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Maryland in aerospace engineering in 1964 and 1969 and an MS in technical management from the Johns Hopkins University in 1986. He joined the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in 1979 working on the Vertical Launching System of the Aegis cruisers. Since that time he has participated in activities on the Phalanx program the SPS-48E radar and long term involvement with the Cruise Missile Program. On the Cruise Missile Program Mr. Neradka has focused on the specification of and testing related to environments. Swallomis the director of military power systems at Avco Research Laboratory Inc. a subsidiary of Textron Inc. in Everett Mass. Dr. Swallom received his B.S. M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa Iowa City Iowa in 1969 1970 and 1972 respectively. He has authored numerous papers in the areas of power propulsion and plasma physics and currently is a member of the Aerospace Power Systems Technical Committee of the AIAA. Dr. Swallom has directed various programs for the development of advanced power generation systems lightweight power conditioning systems and advanced propulsion systems for marine applications. His previous experience includes work with Odin International Corporation Maxwell Laboratories Inc. Argonne National Laboratory and the Air Force Aero Propulsion Laboratory. Currently Dr. Swallom is directing the technical efforts to apply magnetohydrodynamic principles to a variety of propulsion and power applications for various marine vehicles and power system requirements respectively. Isaac Sadovnikis a principal research engineer in the Energy Technology Office at Avco Research Laboratory Inc. a subsidiary of Textron Inc. He received his B.S. in engineering (1974) B.S. in physics (1975) M.S. in aeronautics and astronautics (1976) and Ph.D. in physics of fluids (1981) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He served on seven destroyers and cruisers in weapons billets before being designated engineering duty officer in 1977. His engineering duty assignments include Terrier department officer at NSWSES from 1977 to 1980 and Spruance class combat systems engineer at Naval Sea Systems Command until 1982. Capt. Chenard developed the master ordnance repair program with support from Shipbuilders Council of America. He is currently the NAVSEA project manager for long range missile weapon systems. Capt. Chenard has been a member of the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) since 1981.

She received her commission from Officer Candidate School in April 1971 and performed her first tour of duty with VFP-63 NAS Miramar. LCdr. Paige then received her MS from the Naval Post Graduate School in June 1976 and returned to San Diego to serve as Head Support Software Division at the Fleet Combat Direction System Support Activity. In May 1981 she reported to NA VSEA (PMS-408) where she served initially as Chairman of the NAVMAT Software Engineering Environment Working Group. She has been assigned as Deputy AN/UYK-43 Acquisition Manager since October 1981. LCdr. Paige was designated a fully qualified Engineering Duty Officer in December 1983. Robert A. Converse:is presently the Acquisition Manager for the Ada Language System/Navy (ALS/N) for the Naval Sea Systems Command Tactical Embedded Computer Resources Project. As such he is responsible for the definition and development of the ALS/N to be provided as a Navy standard computer programming system for Navy mission critical applications. Mr. Converse received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Wheaton College Wheaton II. He spent fourteen years with the Naval Underwater Systems Center Newport Rhode Island during which time he designed and developed the Fortran compiler for the Navy Standard AN/UYK-7 computer. Also during that period he received a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island. His thesis for that degree was entitled “Optimization Techniques for the NUSC Fortran Cross-Compiler”. Mr. Converse started his involvement with the Ada program in 1975 with the initial “Strawman” requirements review. Subsequently he was named as the Navy Ada Distinguished Reviewer and was intimately involved in the selection and refinement of the Ada language as it evolved to become ANSI/MIL-STD-1815A.
