Neonatal jaundice often occurs in newborns characterized by a yellow discoloration of the sclera and baby's skin due to high levels of bilirubin in the blood. The occurrence of jaundice needs done identified to the development of hyperbilirubinemia which has the potential to become a toxic that can cause kernicterus. Detection of jaundice by manual (visual) is still often done by parents and health workers, so that the results of the diagnosis obtained are less accurate. This study proposes an innovative used of information systems in detecting jaundice using the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) method with a waterfall model. Retrieval of data in this study with a quasi experiment using non-probability sampling with consecutive sampling on 48 newborn respondents. The result of this study indicate that the information system that has been built can detect jaundice faster as much as 2.1 minutes with an accuracy rate of 91.7%, can provide appropriate solutions and an effective level of use of information systems of 90.5% which can be used as an innovation in helping overcome jaundice problems. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The condition of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) has become one of the causes of high maternal mortality. Improper handling of CED will have an impact on the health problems of both mother and baby. This is because when the diagnosis is still using conventional methods, so it takes a long time or is not time efficient, an alternative is needed to improve the quality of information system-based services in diagnosing mothers with CED. In this research, an information system design was carried out using the SDLC (System Development Life Cylce) method with the waterfall model which includes: needs analysis, design, implementation, and offer. Analysis of speed data using respondents 15 chronic energy deficiency pregnant and static test using Mann Whitney obtained p-value 0.000 p © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The role of information systems towards the success of the family planning program: a literature review

Family planning is an arrangement aimed at forming a prosperous family by limiting the number of births by using contraception. Birth control can reduce unwanted pregnancies, high-risk pregnancies, and prevent maternal death. One of the information systems that has been used in the health world is the immunization day reminder and management of hospital activities. The reminder system is effective as a reminder of the immunization schedule. This wireless technology helps health workers quickly and practically in health services. The use of information systems in family planning programs can support the success of family planning, one of which is to reduce the number of family planning failures and the proper use of family planning. This study uses the PRISMA protocol guidelines. The referenced journals come from various sources that have good publishing credibility and can be accounted for. This study discusses how information systems play a role in the success of family planning programs. The method used in this article is a systematic literature review. This study discusses a number of journals by examining in detail in preliminary studies, research objects, performance indicators, variables and methods applied So as to briefly learn the benefits of information systems as a tool for the success of family planning in midwifery services.

Contribution of information technology (IT) system in overcoming neonatal jaundice: a systematic literature review

Information technology systems can improve efficiency, quality of service, security and improve the quality of diagnosis, especially in the incidence of neonatal jaundice, because the incidence of jaundice that is not monitored can cause increasingly severe problems so that it can cause kernicterus and can also cause death in neonatal. This paper is focused on analyzing the contribution of information technology systems to health problems especially neonatal jaundice. The study design uses a systematic literature review with international journals in electronic databases. Journal criteria used the Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) technique from 2011-2019. This systematic literature review concludes that information technology systems have a role in health care, wherefrom several technologies have proven to be able to detect, diagnose, treatment and education that is easy, fast, effective and can be used whenever needed in overcoming the problem of neonatal jaundice. However, the use of information technology systems has not been comprehensive so that it needs development especially in areas with limited access.
