To strengthen conservation efforts for preserving biodiversity in a conservation area, forest inventory is important to understand the natural succession process in the area and to establish a monitoring strategy. Further, tree inventory aims to monitor the output yielded in the area. More specifically, the tree inventory in the watershed area plays a key role to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), especially in riparian zones which are also vital parts of green zones in forests. However, the traditional inventory approach is time-consuming and laborious therefore the development of an expert system to assist in inventory monitoring is required. In this study, we develop a monitoring system via a mobile application to collect, analyze and visualize tree inventory data. The application includes algorithms required to compute tree biodiversity, distribution, and richness for the given input of the data of all tree species in a conservation area. For the model validation stage, we compare the traditional inventory approach with our proposed application-based approach to compute diversity inventory in two riparian locations: Klaten Conservation Park and Wonosobo Conservation Park. After the three-day data collection in the areas, we obtain that the accuracy of reading data of our proposed system can achieve more than 90% in comparison with the manual approach. This demonstrates that the system can assist forestry workers to perform more efficient tree inventories in different locations. © 2022 IEEE.

Children's physical, mental and emotional development depends heavily on sleep, with age-specific sleep needs fluctuating. Malnutrition may result from eating too little, absorbing nutrients poorly, being unwell, living in poverty or not knowing enough about nutrition. Food allergies and iron insufficiency are two examples of illnesses whose onsets might differ depending on environmental exposures and genetics. By providing proper diet, getting medical attention when necessary and encouraging healthy behaviors, parents play a crucial role in supporting their children's health. For children to grow and develop properly, they need meals high in fruits, vegetables, milk, protein, calcium, iron and fiber. Key advantages of a balanced diet include aiding bone formation, improving heart health and encouraging regular bowel motions and digestion. In general, children's general health and wellness depend on caregivers being aware of their dietary requirements and giving them the proper attention. The findings of the research imply that machine learning algorithms may be useful in understanding and predicting the prevalence of malnutrition in children. Furthermore, these algorithms could provide perceptive data that might help politicians create effective policies. In this research, we make use of five different machine learning algorithms. With a decision tree, the accuracy is 0.92%, followed by svm which provides 0.91%, KNN, which provides 0.84%, GBM classifier, which provides 0.79% and random forest, which provides 0.65%.

Disabled people are of different kinds like physically challenged people, mentally challenged etc. To help the people who cannot convey their thoughts and who cannot hear others thoughts, sign language is being used to communicate with them. Sign language is something that is used to communicate through body movements mainly through hands and *** Sign Language(ASL) is an authorized sign language that is taught and used widely. ASL is difficult to teach and learn for them because it is completely new and they have no knowledge about it. In this research paper the ASL is recognized and converted into text through data mining techniques. The study uses a dataset of ASL alphabet images and applies various data mining techniques, including feature selection, classification, and clustering. The features extracted from the images include shape, size, color, and texture. The use of neural networks, decision trees, and support vector machines speeds up the data categorization process. Techniques such as k-means clustering and hierarchical grouping are used to facilitate entity grouping. The results show that the best performance is achieved using a combination of feature selection and classification techniques. The decision tree algorithm with the selected features achieves an accuracy of 96.5% on the test dataset. The system can accurately recognize all the ASL alphabets and convert them into text or speech. The system developed can be used to improve communication between deaf and hearing individuals and can be extended to recognize other ASL gestures and phrases. Future research can focus on real-time detection and recognition of ASL gestures using data mining techniques. CNN algorithm is used to recognize the image based on the images collected. The accuracy rate gets low and the detection is inaccurate. Therefore, VGG16 algorithm is used to recognize the images and it is unique in convolutional models. © 2023 IEEE.

One of the scariest illnesses that causes irreversible blindness is Diabetic Retinopathy (DR). As a result, early exposure to Diabetic Retinopathy can help to preserve vision. The study proposes a hybrid model to classify Diabetic Retinopathy images. Initially, pre-processing of the photographs includes resizing them. Grey scale translation and noise removing using a combination of Weiner filter and Median filter. Further, images are enhanced using Gaussian Mixture based histogram equalization. Features of the images are extracted using Dense Convolutional neural network. An optimized ResNet101 model with improved Aquila optimization is used for classification. Performance of the models is as opposed to other studies in literature. The proposed model has acquired F1 score of 98.98%, accuracy of 99.2%, sensitivity of 98.9%, specificity of 99.1%, and precision of 99%.

Facial-emotion-recognition(FER) is being conducted with the goals of analyzing the psychological characteristics of juvenile offenders and promoting the use of deep learning to the extraction of psychological features. Initially, we talk about how certain personality traits are linked to being good at reading facial expressions. To build a facial emotion identification model from this data, we add more convolutional layers to a CNN and combine it with other neural networks like VGGNet, AlexNet, and LeNet-5. Next, a Central-Local-Binary-Pattern(CLBP) method, which is optimized, is incorporated into the CNN to build a CNN-CLBP framework for FER. After face photos have been preprocessed and key parameters have been optimized, the algorithm is subjected to a validity study. The average detection rate for the CNN-CLBP is 88.16%, which is greater than the recognition rate for other approaches. In addition, image preparation and parameter tuning boost the recognition accuracy of this approach without resorting to poor-tting. In addition, the CNN-CLBP system accurately identifies 97% of pleased and startled expressions, but 22.54% of sad ones. The study's findings can be used as a starting point for further investigations into the mental health of teen offenders. © 2024 IEEE.

A fully autonomous wall-painting robot is the focus of this paper's development, expansion, and implementation efforts. Research efforts have not communicated much about interior wall painting. Painters' eyes and respiratory systems are particularly vulnerable to the toxic chemicals used in the industry. Additionally, the monotony, time commitment, and physical exertion inherent in the painting process are hard to resist. The entire construction process may be enhanced and time and labor saved by using robots and human workers appropriately into building jobs. The Dynamic Smart Painting Robo Model (DSPRM) is a novel robot that this study introduces for intense wall painting. To test its efficacy, it is crossvalidated with the usual technique, the usual Painting Bot (CPB). Furthermore, it would provide an opportunity to lessen or eliminate human exposure to challenging and dangerous conditions, which would address most of the issues, provide protection, and make it happen more often. An autonomous robotic painting system is being developed as a result of the wall painting robot. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper describes the implementation and evaluation of an RC polyphase filter (RCPF) and circuitry for measuring its frequency characteristics. The integrated circuit is fabricated on a 0.6 µm CMOS process and its supply voltage is 5 V. The integrated circuit includes a filter under test (FUT), a four-phase square wave generator, several analog switches and differential amplifiers to amplify the high-impedance signals of the RCPF. This FUT is a third-order complex RCPF whose passband is 8 − 40 MHz. This paper describes the design of these circuits in detail. This integrated circuit can select two measurement methods by means of external control signals. The first method uses a four-phase square wave. The frequency characteristics are measured by using an on-chip four-phase square wave generator driven by an external clock generator and by a spectrum analyzer tuned to the fundamental frequency. The second method uses an external network analyzer. Furthermore, this integrated circuit is equipped with a calibration circuit to measure the frequency characteristics of the circuitry except FUT by passing through the input / output signals of the FUT. As a result, the frequency characteristics of the FUT itself can be accurately measured. The effectiveness is confirmed through evaluation of the fabricated integrated circuit. © 2025 The institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.

We developed an Authentic GeometryGo (AGG) app to help students application of geometry in authentic contexts through authentic measurements and peer assessments. The study included an experimental group (EG) using an AGG app and a control group (CG) using paper-based methods. The results showed that the EG outperformed the CG in terms of estimation. Measuring authentic geometry shapes using the app could foster students' estimation. Furthermore, meaningful peer assessments with visual representations in authentic contexts can facilitate the evaluation of peers' work and improve students' geometry understanding. Therefore, we encourage educators to use augmented reality with appropriate learning activities to sharpen students' measurement quality and visual representations by measuring real geometry shapes and applying mathematics knowledge in authentic contexts. © 2008-2011 IEEE.

In this article, we applied several deep learning transfer learning approaches to categorize distinct phases of Alzheimer's disease. Different measures are used to assess each strategy, which leads to better results.

Recently, the COVID-19 pandemic has emerged as one of the world's most critical public health concerns. One of the biggest problems in the present COVID-19 outbreak is the difficulty of accurately separating COVID-19 cases from non-COVID-19 cases at an affordable price and in the initial stages. Besides the use of antigen Rapid Test Kit (RTK) and Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR), chest x-rays (CXR) can also be used to identify COVID-19 patients. Unfortunately, manual checks may produce inaccurate results, delay treatment or even be fatal. Because of differences in perception and experience, the manual method can be chaotic and imprecise. technology has progressed to the point where we can solve this problem by training a Deep Learning (DL) model to distinguish the normal and COVID-19 X-rays. In this work, we choose the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) as our DL model and train it using Kaggle datasets that include both COVID-19 and normal CXR data. The developed CNN model is then deployed on the website after going through a training and validation process. The website layout is straightforward to navigate. A CXR can be uploaded and a prediction made with minimal effort from the patient. The website assists in determining whether they have been exposed to COVID-19 or not.
