According to Islamic beliefs, movement and stillness of Iranian architecture, also to its literal meaning, has a more complex meaning and understanding its space has a special place. The purpose of this research is to study the role of some movement and stillness elements in the development of Iranian-Islamic cities to make optimal satisfaction in human. The method of this study is descriptive-analytical. Hence, in this research, first, the concepts of movement and stillness and its components in Iranian-Islamic architecture have been expressed. Then, we introduce Iranian-Islamic mosques, houses and Bazaars (markets) as the prominent buildings of our paper. The finding result of the research shows that movement and stillness elements have an important influence on the satisfaction of the environment and realization of peace in human.

A curved surface is fitted in the positions of a subject's joint, or the direction of trajectories. Expert and beginner perform swimming and karate motion. After the motions are tracked, the trajectories of joints are transformed to a curved surface. The difference of an action between an expert and a beginner is extracted by investigating curvatures and form on the visualized curved surface. Therefore, we expected that technical skill is transferred easily.

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is one of the most imperative prerequisites of electronic document analysis systems. Segmentation is the preliminary step of OCR, which has long been an active area of research. In this paper, we present a hierarchical system towards the segmentation of Bangla script document printed in two different styles viz., italic and bold italic with varying fonts and sizes. At first, the text lines are segmented from the document pages. Next, the words are segmented from the extracted text lines. Finally, the characters are segmented from the extracted word images by using a Trapezoidal Fuzzy membership function, which has been used for the detection of Matra region. The proposed technique is tested on 16 document pages consisting of 1456 words. The average success rates of the technique for text line, word and character segmentation are found to be 99.91%, 98.63% and 89.41% respectively.

It is an urgent need to find an objective way to estimate the degree of fatigue of employees. In this study, we designed a monitoring and estimation system for the degree of fatigue. This paper explains a long-term pedaling experiment that we use it to explore the possibility to use only the time sequence data of head movement during pedaling to estimate the fatigue. While we show the possibility for this through experimental data, it is clear that we need to collect more data to establish an estimation method.

Evolution of Cloud computing technology over the Internet and drastic increase in data size and intensity (Big Data) persuade Map Reduce and distributed file systems like HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) as the paradigm of choice for distributed data mining applications. With size and complexity of data growing every day, distributed data mining algorithms has to be designed to handle Big Data in compatible with the latest technology available on distributed computing. Earlier research activities in data mining comprises, focus on increasing the performance for single task computing algorithms rather than distributed computing which would provide more fast and scalable environment for processing large datasets. Existing algorithms in the field of distributed frequent pattern data mining includes, TPFP-tree, BTP tree, and CARM. But these algorithms suffer from unbalanced workload management among its clusters. In this paper, a novel algorithm, named Association rule mining based on Hadoop (ARMH) has been proposed to utilize the clusters effectively and mining frequent pattern from large databases. Hadoop distributed framework helps in managing the workload among the clusters. The ARMH was implemented in hadoop using Map Reduce programming paradigm.
