This research aims to find out the effect of social media and green brand knowledge on its purchase intention through attitude as intervening variable. The method used in this research is quantitative method, by using nonprobability sampling-purposive sampling technique and multiple regression analysis. Researchers spread questionnaires to 211 respondents and use path analysis to determine the influence between variables. The results of this research are significantly: social media affect attitude, green brand knowledge affect attitude, attitude doesn't affect green cosmetics purchase intention, social media doesn't affect green cosmetics purchase intention, green brand knowledge affects green cosmetics purchase intention, social media doesn't affect green cosmetics purchase intention through attitude, and green brand knowledge doesn't affect green cosmetics purchase intention through attitude. © 2023 IEEE.

Smart Home technology offers technological concepts that can be controlled through smart devices to make it easier for the community. Therefore, smart home technology is starting to seize the home electronics market in Indonesia, especially in the city of Jakarta. This study aims to determine the integration of conventional technology into smart home technology for people in Jakarta. The research model in this study uses UTAUT2 which analyzes nine variables, namely Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Cost, Perceived Ease of Use, Social Influence, Perceived Compatibility, Trust, Perceived Pleasure, and Effort Expectations, Intention to Use Smart Home technology. After the responses were received, data analysis was carried out using the PLS-SEM approach with the SmartPLS application. The results of this study show that there are many people who live in Jakarta who are helped by the presence of smart home technology. However, there are some people who don't really know how to use a smart home because of a lack of knowledge about this technology. © 2023 IEEE.

This study aims to envision the future of banking and the FinTech industry collaboration by the triggers for change based on trends watching in current conditions. Envisioning is the ability to describe the impact of changes in the business environment caused by the various trigger changes observed in trend watching. The current conditions and the triggers of change based on trend-watching are issues and considerations in envisioning collaboration between banking and the Fintech industry. The research methodology uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The study surveyed 100 respondents, each representing the banking and FinTech sectors, who understand the issues related to the collaboration of the two industries. In addition, to complement the survey data, this study also conducted Focus Group Discussions and In-depth Interviews as a qualitative approach. The study's results by analyzing current conditions and triggers of change based on trend watching will represent a picture of the future of banking and FinTech industry collaboration. This research will expect a significant contribution to government regulations/policies and a positive contribution and support on the IT/IS side, especially in applied technology and architecture/business models for collaboration in the future of collaboration banking and the FinTech Industry that follow. © 2022 IEEE.

Aim/Purpose Traditional research methodology education faces challenges in developing student self-efficacy and integrating modern technology, necessitating innovative instructional approaches for graduate students. Background This study introduces the BEST model (begin with learner analysis, establish clear learning objectives, select engaging learning activities, and tailor instruction using technology) to address these challenges through systematic TPACK integration. Methodology A qualitative investigation was conducted with 10 graduate students through focus groups and in-depth interviews over one month, analyzed using narrative and content analysis approaches. Contribution Content analysis revealed improvements in self-efficacy (from four to eight participants), peer learning (from three to six), and critical thinking (from three to six) while maintaining active learning engagement throughout implementation. Findings Students showed significant improvements in self-efficacy (four to eight participants), peer learning (three to six), and critical thinking (three to six) while maintaining active learning engagement. Recommendations for Practitioners Institutions should implement robust technical support systems and flexible learning pathways while ensuring adequate infrastructure before adoption. A phased implementation approach with peer mentoring is recommended to address technology integration challenges. Recommendations for Researchers Future research should examine the BEST model’s effectiveness across different cultural contexts and disciplines through comparative and longitudinal studies while exploring the integration of emerging educational technologies. Impact on Society The BEST model enhances the quality of graduate research education by developing students’ confidence and competence, potentially leading to more capable researchers and improved research outcomes. Standardization helps improve supplier compatibility, interoperability, repeatability, security, and quality. The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has highlighted the need for global requirements regarding the interoperability of healthcare information. Currently, Taiwan still relies on the second edition of the Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) as the standard for exchanging medical data, which was formulated 17 years ago. There is currently no unified specification for medical data transformation or review mechanism in place. To address this issue, it is necessary to adopt the widely used international healthcare data exchange standard, Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), established by Health Level Seven International (HL7). The aim of this research is to simplify the mapping of medical data and convert it into the international FHIR format, enabling rapid data transformation. Additionally, an interface will be designed to meet user habits and requirements. By utilizing common clinical data structures in Taiwan as an example, a mechanism for data conversion and verification will be developed to achieve fast health data exchange and enhance interoperability in the healthcare field. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The Langat River Basin in Malaysia is vulnerable to soil erosion risks because of its exposure to intensive land use activities and its topography,which primarily consists of steep slopes and mountainous ***,climate change frequently exposes this basin to drought,which negatively affects soil and water ***,recent studies have rarely shown how soil reacts to drought,such as soil ***,the purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between drought and soil erosion in the Langat River *** analyzed drought indices using Landsat 8 satellite images in November 2021,and created the normalized differential water index(NDWI)via Landsat 8 data to produce a drought *** used the revised universal soil loss equation(RUSLE)model to predict soil *** verified an association between the NDWI and soil erosion data using a correlation *** results revealed that the southern and northern regions of the study area experienced drought *** predicted an average annual soil erosion of approximately 58.11 t/(hm^(2)·a).Analysis of the association between the NDWI and soil erosion revealed a strong positive correlation,with a Pearson correlation coefficient of *** assumed that the slope length and steepness factor was the primary contributor to soil erosion in the study *** a result,these findings can help authorities plan effective measures to reduce the impacts of drought and soil erosion in the future.

Air pollution makes it worse in populated regions. Indonesia's major cities are also impacted by air pollution. Due to rising traffic, material consumption by vehicles, industrial growth, land burning, and garbage collection, air quality has altered significantly. Accurate measurement and classification of air quality are required. Results of accurate classification aid in forming governmental regulations. To reach the criteria for livable air quality, we intend to manage controls. Some of the characteristics of air pollution include particulate (PM10) or PM25, sulfides (in the form of SO2), carbon monoxide (CO), ozone (O3), and nitrites (NO2). Using the XGBoost algorithm and synthetic minority oversampling (SMOTE) methods based on the Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU) category, this study seeks to uncover factors that affect air quality. XGBoost, an ensemble machine learning approach built on a decision tree and applying a gradient reinforcement framework, is the classification algorithm in use. Air quality categorization has been tested and shown to work with the XGBoost algorithm. The dataset used in this study is air quality in 2021 which was collected by the Jakarta Environmental Ministry The proposed classification model will be evaluated using the Repeated k-fold cross-validation method for objective results. The results of the study prove that SMOTE and XGBoost have better performance than using only the XGBoost method in predicting air quality, where the overall accuracy value of SMOTE with XGBoost is 99.60%, The overall precision value is 99.60%, the overall recall value is 99.60% and the overall f1-score is 99.60% and the overall ROC AUC value is 99.96%. The overall SMOTE method with the proposed XGBoost has given better performance in air pollution prediction. © 2022 IEEE.

Eye-tracking studies focused on art galleries and museums within the realm of Instagram, especially in the Indonesian context, are notably scant. This investigation elucidates the user interaction and experience of the art gallery’s Instagram account, @galerinasional. Employing a quantitative approach, we implemented eye-tracking experiments using the well-known online eye-tracking software RealEye. The study participants were followers of the National Gallery of Indonesia’s (Galnas) Instagram profile, seven women and three men, in two age brackets: 18–24 years (n = 5) and 25–34 years (n = 5). The experimental protocol required participants to execute five tasks centered on locating exhibition details and artwork on the Galnas Instagram platform, with a duration of 100 s allocated to each task. The Participant Quality Grade (PQG), examination duration, optimal browser dimensionality, K-factor mean, gaze and fixation frequencies, and heat maps were determined for the participants. The key findings are as follows. (1) The participants’ PQG scores were predominantly between 4 and 6. (2) Investigative browsing typically exceeded the 100-s limit. (3) The consensus on the ideal browser dimensions hovered around 1,368.6 × 814.8 px. (4) The K-factor mean across participants tended toward K > 0. (5) The average gaze occurrence was 27 items per second for most participants. (6) A noticeable disparity in fixation counts was observed between the two age groups, with individuals aged 25–34 demonstrating prolonged engagement with Galnas’ content. (7) Heat maps accentuated a pronounced concentration on visual content, encompassing photographs, videos, and their associated captions. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

This paper presents an advanced method for addressing the inverse kinematics and optimal path planning challenges in robot manipulators. The inverse kinematics problem involves determining the joint angles for a given position and orientation of the end-effector. Furthermore, the path planning problem seeks a trajectory between two points. Traditional approaches in computer algebra have utilized Gröbner basis computations to solve these problems, offering a global solution but at a high computational cost. To overcome the issue, the present authors have proposed a novel approach that employs the Comprehensive Gröbner System (CGS) and CGS-based quantifier elimination (CGS-QE) methods to efficiently solve the inverse kinematics problem and certify the existence of solutions for trajectory planning. This paper extends these methods by incorporating smooth curves via cubic spline interpolation for path planning and optimizing joint configurations using shortest path algorithms to minimize the sum of joint configurations along a trajectory. This approach significantly enhances the manipulator's ability to navigate complex paths and optimize movement sequences. © 2024 CEUR-WS. All rights reserved.

We propose a method for solving the speech direction estimation problem by computer algebra. The method is based on the function approximation using the minimax polynomial. The minimax polynomial is obtained by an iterative method called the Remez exchange algorithm, in which Gröbner bases computation is employed.
