Accurately detecting the keypoints of small persons in an image using bottom-up multi-person pose estimation algorithms is exceptionally difficult owing to scale variation challenges. HigherHRNet initially solved the challenge of multi-player scale change pose estimation. However, because it uses repeated cross-scale fusion, owing to inherent defects in channel reduction, semantic information is lost. Furthermore, the aliasing effects produced by the miscellaneous feature maps formed after cross-scale fusion have a significant impact on the detection accuracy of small persons. In this paper, we propose a novel bottom-up human pose estimation algorithm based on HigherHRNet, called Channel-Enhanced HigherHRNet (CE-HigherHRNet). CE-HigherHRNet comprises three main components: a multiscale sub_pixel skip fusion module, a lightweight attention mechanism (with channel attention enhanced and spatial attention modules), and a high-resolution feature pyramid with an added Dupsampling module. The lightweight attention mechanism optimizes the feature map after each fusion. Deconvolution is replaced with Dupsampling, which strengthens the network’s scale awareness and makes it more sensitive to robust scale changes. The average precision (AP) of CE-HigherHRNet on the COCO test-dev dataset was 71.9% (an improvement of 1.4% compared with HigherHRNet). Furthermore, the average detection accuracy of small persons was 68.1% AP (an improvement of 1.5% AP). These results verify that the proposed CE-HigherHRNet is more robust in processing scale changes and has a stronger ability to handle crowded environments. Thus, it is more accurate in positioning small persons in images and human bodies in crowded environments. © 2022. All Rights Reserved.

Speech recognition systems play an integral role in numerous applications, from virtual assistants to accessibility tools. This paper offers a new viewpoint to speech recognition utilizing computer vision and deep learning techniques. The proposed system is trained on a sizable dataset comprising 700 video clips of individuals uttering predefined words, add up to approximately 3 GB of data. Leveraging TensorFlow and Keras, model architecture is designed incorporating convolutional and dense layers. The training process yielded promising results, with a training accuracy of 95.7% and a validation accuracy of 98.5%, indicative of robust classification performance. The integration of computer vision enriches the system's ability to extract meaningful features from audio-visual inputs, enhancing its overall recognition accuracy. Proposed method demonstrates significant potential for real-time speech recognition applications in different areas, like human-computer interaction and assistive technologies. © 2024 IEEE.

According to WHO, Skin Infection is very common but sometimes very serious and affects a large no population all over the world. Monkeypox, Chickenpox, and Measles are the major infectious disease that causes skin infection all over the world. It has been obverse that the cases of Monkeypox have drastically increased as an effect of Covid 19. This infection has spread easily and exponentially that cause serious health issues in many underdeveloped and developing countries. Some time it has been observed that people are not able to properly classify the type of skin infection well in time, which can be a main reason of serious health issues. So, it became important to propose an effective classification of Skin Disease. In this paper the authors have proposed an effective classification of Skin Disease using Deep Learning Techniques. This approach will help in classification of chicken pox, measles, and monkeypox through skin images. The authors have utilized Monkeypox Skin Images Dataset (MSID) dataset to apply the proposed approach. The Loss, Accuracy, Precision, Recall, AUC, and F1 Score parameters have been used to analyze the performance of proposed approaches. The best algorithms with maximum accuracy and other parameters are Xception, EfficientNetV2L, and EfficientNetV2M, and CNN, VGG16, and VGG19 are the least favored algorithms for this research. © 2023 IEEE.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) generic phrase used to describe heart or blood vessel illness. Conditions that impact the body's, brain's, or heart's blood flow. Reduced blood flow can result from factors such as blood clots, leading to heart attack, angina, or stroke. Other potential meanings of CVD. These models offer key benefits like clear interpretability and the ability to analyze complex patterns, significantly enhancing the accuracy of cardiovascular disease risk predictions. The demerits of using SVM, LR, K-NN, and MLP for CVD prediction include inter-pretability issues, overfitting risks, data requirements, feature selection challenges, scalability concerns, algorithm complexity, and class imbalance. Collaboration between machine learning experts and healthcare professionals is essential for developing accurate and reliable CVD prediction models that enhance patient care. CVD is a significant health threat, often leading to fatal complications. Early detection is crucial for effective intervention. This study employs SVM (accuracy is 0.84%), LR (accuracy is 0.86%), K-NN (accuracy is 0.94%), and MLP (accuracy is 0.79%) machine learning techniques to enhance CVD detection by addressing outliers and null values, contributing to advancing automatic detection initiatives. © 2024 IEEE.

In this digital era, internet users are increasing day by day to extract information related to various fields such as health, economic, educational, politics and daily needs from Information Retrieval Systems (IRS) such as Google, Ask, Yahoo etc. Information Retrieval (IR) is a conventional method which depends on metadata searching method that is searching of adocuments for information within documents and information about documents. Lot of research in the IR area improves accessing the quality of information. Most of the search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves depends on keyword based query processing mechanism internally which can't handle natural language questions which results in returning long list of documents for a query. The task of users is to manually explore each document to retrieve correct answer which is a time consuming process. To overcome the problems of conventional search engines, smart question answering system comes to play. The objective of Smart Automated Answering system is to impart accurate and valid answers to user question in natural language rather than set of full documents. The Smart Question answering system which accepts user question in Natural language in specific domain and provide short and precise answer using Natural language processing technique, used for pre-processing, normalized term weighting-TF-IDF with cosine similarity approach for document retrieval and enhanced BM25 ranking function to extract answer. The main focus is on decreasing the response time, designing ranking function and giving the pertinent responses to the users’ intent. The system achieved an overall Precision of 93.2%, Recall of 84.3% and F-measure of 88.5% with 80% of Accuracy. © 2021

The increasing number of social platforms means that there is a rapid expansion of online data. However, not all of this data can be trusted, as some users intentionally manipulate information to spread false news for personal or political reasons. Fake news can significantly impact public perception and societal outcomes. Its widespread influence was especially noticeable during the 2016 United States election cycle, leading to heated discussions about its role and consequences. Given the changing nature of news, real-time data processing has become essential for effectively identifying and countering misinformation. This research provides a comprehensive examination of the datasets, tools, and techniques utilized for detecting and combating fake news. Many researchers have developed models based on specific datasets, limiting their scope to particular domains. A thorough review of advanced models for real-time fake news detection highlights existing research gaps. The analysis of the review reveals that numerous datasets used in the literature are outdated, and there is a methodological challenge associated with the use of traditional machine learning approaches. With the continuous evolution of news, there is an urgent demand for utilizing sophisticated deep learning models for the automated, real-time verification of misinformation. This research presents promising approaches to tackle the challenge of detecting fake news. © 2024 IEEE.

In the contemporary digital era, data has evolved into the cornerstone of myriad sectors, encompassing academia, commerce, and medical research. Yet, the acquisition of insights from this expansive reservoir of information has historically demanded a level of proficiency in formal languages such as SQL, thereby imposing a substantial barrier for individuals lacking technical expertise. In response to this pervasive challenge, the advent of Natural Language Interface to Databases (NLIDB) has emerged as a promising and transformative solution. NLIDB offers users the capability to engage with databases through the utilization of their natural language, whether expressed in textual or verbal form. This paradigm shift empowers both seasoned experts and neophytes to effortlessly extract valuable information from databases without the prerequisite of specialized technical skills. In this research paper, we propose an innovative system that capitalizes on an intermediary SQL generation process, facilitating the seamless bridge between natural language input and subsequent database retrieval. This novel approach eliminates the need for users to possess awareness of the intricate underlying complexities of the database management process. By simplifying the interaction between users and databases, our system endeavours to democratize data access and promote the universal utilization of this invaluable resource across diverse domains. © 2024 IEEE.

This research aims to develop an expert system for initial diagnoses of skin diseases in cats using the Decision Tree method. It assists cat owners in identifying skin diseases based on observed symptoms. Data from expert veterinarian drh. Ismi Azima, including various types of cat skin diseases and their symptoms, were used. The research employs 80% training data and 20% testing data to develop the classification model. Testing results indicate the Decision Tree model achieves up to 90% average accuracy in diagnosing cat skin diseases based on 50 datasets. This expert system aids in diagnosis and provides treatment and prevention solutions, beneficial for cat owners, especially in areas with limited veterinary access. In conclusion, this Decision Tree-based expert system effectively provides initial diagnoses of skin diseases in cats with high accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.
