Kidney diseases (KD) are a global public health concern affecting millions. Early detection and prediction are crucial for effective treatment. Artificial intelligence (AI) techniques have been used in KDP to analyze past medical records, applying patients’ Electronic Medical Record (EHR) data. However, conventional statistical analysis methods conflict with fully comprehending the complexity of EHR data. AI algorithms have helped early KDP learn and identify complex data patterns. However, challenges include training heterogeneous historical data, protecting privacy and security, and developing monitoring system regulations. This study addresses the primary challenge of training heterogeneous datasets for real-world evaluation. Early detection and diagnosis of chronic kidney disease (CKD) is crucial for improved outcomes, reduced healthcare costs, and reliable treatment. Early treatments are crucial for CKD, as it often develops without apparent symptoms. Predictive models, particularly those using reinforcement learning (RL), can identify significant trends in complex healthcare information, which standard techniques may struggle with. The study makes KDP more accurate and reliable using RL methods on clinical data. This lets doctors find diseases earlier and treat them better by looking at static and changing health measurements. Machine learning (ML) algorithms can enhance the accuracy of AI systems over time, enhancing their effectiveness in detecting and diagnosing diseases. In the current investigation, the RL-ANN model is implemented for performing enforceable CKD by assessing the outcomes of multiple neural networks, which include FNN, RNN, and CNN, according to parameters such as accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, prediction error, prediction rate, and kidney failure rate (KFR). The recommended RL-ANN method has a lower failure rate of 70% based on the KFR data. Further, the proposed approach earned 95% in PR and 70% in analysis of errors. However, the RL

Calidad of service issues related to antiquated communication frameworks in conventional electrical grids are addressed by the cognition smart grid connectivity paradigm. By incorporating cutting-edge communication and information technology into electric power lines, this novel strategy promotes a two-way exchange of information. However, there is a significant need for SG communications systems to manage large data volumes because to the rise in wireless services and apps, which is being driven by the growing adoption of Internet interconnected Things smart devices. Moreover, our work surpasses the state of the art in that it not only tackles the problems caused by current communication systems but also provides a proactive solution that foresees and handles the growing data needs resulting from the changing wireless application and Internet of Things (loT) landscape. As healthcare IT develops at a dizzying rate, the age of big data is drawing near. Tumor disease prediction, monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment are all profoundly affected by data mining and analysis. Brain-tumors(BT) are considered the most terrible and deadly disease due to their aggressive nature, short survival rate, and diverse spectrum of symptoms. Inadequate medical therapy for patients with misdiagnosed brain tumors lowers their survival prospects. The ability to differentiate amid abnormal &normal tissues makes BT detection extremely difficult. An accurate diagnosis allows the patient to undergo effective therapy and has a better chance of long-term survival. Because of the abnormal pattern of lesion distribution, there are still convinced difficulties in diagnosing BTs, even though there has been a lot of research on the subject. Because tiny areas may seem healthy, it might be challenging to locate a zone with few lesions. Classification accuracy is negatively impacted, and selecting and extracting useful characteristics becomes more difficult. An important part is the automated categorization of precancerous BTs utilizing deep &machine learning strategies. This study presents a Convolutional-Neural-Network-Long-Short-Term-Memory (CNN-LSTM) model, a hybrid DL-technique, for the purpose of MRI-based brain tumor classification and prediction. An MRI brain imaging collection is utilized for our experiments. An effective preprocessing of the data is the first step in using a CNN to extract major characteristics from images. With a 99.3% significant classification accuracy, 99.2% precision, 99.1% recall, and 99.1% F1-measure, the suggested model successfully predicts the brain tumor. © 2024 IEEE.

Heart failure is a chronic illness that impacts millions of individuals worldwide. In order to forecast heart failure health status early and take the necessary activities to address this global issue an effective machine learning-based technique is required. Globally, heart disease is one of the leading causes of death. Medical professionals find it challenging to forecast since it demands experience and a deeper level of predictive knowledge. The healthcare industry operates in a knowledge-deficient but information-rich environment. Healthcare systems have access to a vast amount of data via the internet, but there aren't many useful tools for analyzing the data to find hidden patterns. Medical efficiency will increase with an automated system, which will also save money and time. This software uses information acquired from Kaggle to forecast the likelihood of a disease developing. To create a prediction model, the following algorithms are used: Random Forest (RF), support vector machine (SVM), K-nearest neighbor (KNN), Decision Tree (DT), and Logistic Regression (LR). Phases for feature selection and data preprocessing were finished before the models were created. When the models were evaluated based on accuracy and the F1-score, the RF model performed the best. © 2024 IEEE.

In reaction to recent technology breakthroughs, modern computational fields such as the IoT, Data science, Machine Learning, AI, and several more have arisen. Humans benefit greatly from these fields. In this study, we would employ parts of machine learning to forecast plant illnesses. Particularly amongst the potato leaves, severe Late Blight Disease was discovered. The potato plant, also known as Solanum tuberosum, is a significant crop that is planted all over the world and yields copious amounts of nutritious tubers. The potato is a frequent staple food and has several health benefits. When ingested in moderation, the fluid extracted from tubers can cure stomach ulcers and reduce inflammation and acidity. Both Early and Late Blight are dangerous and widespread potato diseases. We would concentrate on Late Blight in this effort. A fatal fungus that harms potatoes is called Late Blight. It is accessible everywhere in the world. It can be found in areas of the world where potatoes are grown. Winter is the primary growing season for potatoes in India. It is followed by sweltering summer months in the lowlands. Heat and dryness kill the fungus that lives in the soil. The fungus Phytophthora Infestans, the most prevalent agricultural disease that causes the Late blight of potatoes, can quickly result in crop failure if appropriate control measures are not adopted. Potato crop declines in epidemic years might be as high as 80%. We acquired a collection of roughly one thousand samples of Late Blight-affected leaves of potatoes for this investigation. With the help of conventional classifier algorithms, we have developed a machine-learning classification paradigm that may be able to forecast the onset of Late Blight disease. Medical science has developed significantly. Plant pathology could be able to prevent the threat from happening if we could perhaps predict the illness in its early stages. © 2023 IEEE.

Agriculture, energy, mining, healthcare, and transportation are a few of the top industries transformed by the industrial internet of things (IIoT). Industry 4.0 mainly relies on machine learning (ML) to use the vast interconnectedness and large amounts of IIoT data that IIoT primarily drives. ML approaches are trained on confidential data generated by the IIoT environment often exposes privacy to adversarial assaults. Blockchain-based ML is established in the proposed secured IIoT research work to safeguard and enhance privacy. This research proposes a Gaussian differential privacy-integrated machine learning model (GDPIMLM), created for a scalable and controlled IIoT system, fully connected (FC) layer, implemented blockchain benefits to create a privacy-preserving mechanism while considering other limitations and reasonable time. A probability test using two altered Gaussian distributions (GD) forms the basis for defining Gaussian differential privacy (GDP). Due to a central restriction theorem for differential privacy, GDP is the primary privacy term within the family of Federal differential privacy (f-DP) policies. Ethereum is used to implement experimental evaluations. Data collections show that the recommended method enhances digital data privacy with industry-leading security without reducing performance. The performance analysis of the proposed model of secured industrial internet of things (IIoT) is studied using the accuracy of comparison with existing methods and for diverse distributed entities (DE). The proposed secured IIoT attains a minimal time consumption (TC) of 790 Sec—the highest accuracy of 92%, outperforming the existing method. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Recently, the COVID-19 pandemic has emerged as one of the world's most critical public health concerns. One of the biggest problems in the present COVID-19 outbreak is the difficulty of accurately separating COVID-19 cases from non-COVID-19 cases at an affordable price and in the initial stages. Besides the use of antigen Rapid Test Kit (RTK) and Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR), chest x-rays (CXR) can also be used to identify COVID-19 patients. Unfortunately, manual checks may produce inaccurate results, delay treatment or even be fatal. Because of differences in perception and experience, the manual method can be chaotic and imprecise. technology has progressed to the point where we can solve this problem by training a Deep Learning (DL) model to distinguish the normal and COVID-19 X-rays. In this work, we choose the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) as our DL model and train it using Kaggle datasets that include both COVID-19 and normal CXR data. The developed CNN model is then deployed on the website after going through a training and validation process. The website layout is straightforward to navigate. A CXR can be uploaded and a prediction made with minimal effort from the patient. The website assists in determining whether they have been exposed to COVID-19 or not. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents a comprehensive approach to diabetic retinopathy (DR) classification and detection, encompassing the evaluation of ResNet, RegNet, and WideResNet models for DR severity assessment. Leveraging the Kaggle's APTOS 2019 dataset, we implement and analyze these models using PyTorch, highlighting their efficacy in categorizing DR severity levels. Additionally, we leverage Tiny Machine Learning (TinyML) techniques to develop a mobile-based solution, enabling real-time DR severity assessment on mobile devices. This mobile application showcases the potential of TinyML for early detection and intervention in DR cases, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes. By synergizing advanced deep learning models with TinyML, this study contributes to healthcare technology, enabling timely interventions and improved patient outcomes. © 2023 IEEE.

Internet of Things is no longer a new topic. Long ago, the network of things was a rare thing which could be seen only in offices, industries, and labs. Nowadays it is approaching becoming a ubiquitous appliance as a commonplace in everyday environments. Homes and public places such as traffic and city parks have changed to adapt with things within the ability to connect to a network. As a result, even commoners are becoming familiar with IoT. Researchers lay the new technologies into IoT networks. Developers drive them into industry and practitioners carry the aesthetic essence by carrying on the practice among people. In doing so, choosing the correct operating system for the correct device is a step not to be skipped as the learning curve grows up to advanced. This study aims to aid the practitioners by discussing the risks and realities concerned with the role of OS in IoT devices or systems.

Traditional perception systems for TJA (Traffic Jam Assistance) are mostly implemented by fusing images with radar or lidar. As computer vision techniques become more powerful, cameras can almost replace the need for radar and lidar in perception tasks, which reduces the hardware cost of the system. In this research, we propose a camera-only perception system for TJA, which is able to provide the information of the vehicles ahead and the drivable area. The proposed system has been evaluated through real-world scenario sequences, and proved that it achieves high robustness, which is highly possible to be adopted for TJA development. © 2023 IEEE.
