In addition to describing a way to make better use of preexisting computer infrastructures, the phrase “cloud computing” describes a technology that facilitates the sale of access to shared computer resources and services. The flip side is that these dispersed and convoluted infrastructures are attractive targets for attackers. Because cyberattacks can reduce the quality of service offered to clients, the system constitute a substantial risk. This proposed method consists of three steps like preprocessing, feature selection, and model training. Data preprocessing, which includes both feature discretization and feature normalization, is a critical step in any knowledge discovery process. In this proposed to evaluate the impact of feature selection on improving classifier algorithm accuracy by comparing two feature selection methods: one that takes linear correlation into account, and another that takes mutual information into account. When training the model, an HLA-CNN-BiLSTM-SVM was utilized. With a 92.35 percent average accuracy, the suggested method surpasses CNN-SVM and BiLSTM.

Strong detection with mitigation systems are crucial given the growing danger of computer cluster breaches and worldwide assaults. Given the rising frequency and magnitude of network assaults and abnormalities, the intrusion detection systems (IDS) is an essential tool for recognizing them. In this study, we provide a novel method for security breach detection using three different DNN (deep neural network) vision-based approaches. The classification process uses each of the four parts (Red, Colored, Aquamarine's and Alpha) or circuit-generated pictures as a foundation, making it easier to train and validate the reputable ResN et50 visual analysis framework. We assess the performance of our suggested approach on two well-known datasets: UNSW-NB15 and Regularly Utilize Management Defeat of Service (DoS). The results demonstrate our method's outstanding effectiveness, as it identified broad exploits in the UB test with a 99.8% success rate. Moreover, our method achieves 99.7% accuracy in detecting devices unauthorized to enter restricted areas and diagnosing comparable intrusion data pertaining to cars. With this effort, cybersecurity defenses against emerging attacks have taken a major step forward. © 2023 IEEE.

Thanks to the advancements of Deep Learning (DL) Algorithms. DL-based object detection models has witnessed remarkable success in the past few years. By leveraging deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and other deep learning models, rich feature representations can be effectively extracted from visible (RGB) images for object detection. However, for challenging scenarios such as low-light conditions and haze, the performance of object detection using visible images is often not satisfactory. On the other hand, thermal camera, which is unaffected by lighting conditions, can penetrate through low-light and hazy environments to capture object images. However, infrared images lack edge and texture information of objects. Recognizing the complementary nature of visible and infrared images, researchers have explored the fusion of visible and infrared images for object detection, yielding promising research outcomes. This paper provides an analysis of the current research status of visible and infrared image fusion for object detection. Firstly, the fusion models are categorized into three kinds: pixel-level fusion, feature-level fusion, and decision-level fusion. Several models within each category are discussed. Furthermore, this paper summarizes five datasets that can be utilized for training RGB-Infrared object detection models and compares the experimental results of selected models on the KAIST dataset. Lastly, the paper concludes with a summary of existing challenges in the field and offers some reflections on future directions. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Deep Learning as a Service (DLaaS) has become a remarkable trend in modern data-driven online services. Both data holders and service providers need to build on trust in third-party cloud infrastructure platforms. However, once the trust is broken, data holders’ sensitive data and service providers’ intellectual property rights will face significant security and privacy risks. In this paper, we propose a secure and efficient inference framework for deep learning in untrustworthy cloud platforms, termed Branchy-TEE, which aims to protect the confidentiality and integrity of data and models of multiple participating actors throughout the inference process using the Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). Branchy-TEE dynamically loads the inference network into the TEE on-demand based on early-exit mechanism, expecting to break the hardware performance bottleneck of the TEE. Moreover, a joint training method based on knowledge distillation for multi-exit networks is proposed, by flowing"knowledge" from the final exit with high accuracy to the early branch exit with lower accuracy. Finally, the effectiveness and efficiency of Branchy-TEE are verified through extensive experiments in real environments, while achieving an optimal balance between performance and hardware resources. © 2023 Knowledge Systems Institute Graduate school. Image classification and unsupervised image segmentation can be achieved using the Gaussian mixture *** the Gaussian mixture model enhances the flexibility of image segmentation,it does not reflect spatial information and is sensitive to the segmentation *** this study,we first present an efficient algorithm that incorporates spatial information into the Gaussian mixture model(GMM)without parameter *** proposed model highlights the residual region with considerable information and constructs color ***,we incorporate the content-based color saliency as spatial information in the Gaussian mixture *** segmentation is performed by clustering each pixel into an appropriate component according to the expectation maximization and maximum ***,the random color histogram assigns a unique color to each cluster and creates an attractive color by default for segmentation.A random color histogram serves as an effective tool for data visualization and is instrumental in the creation of generative art,facilitating both analytical and aesthetic *** experiments,we have used the Berkeley segmentation dataset BSDS-500 and Microsoft Research in Cambridge *** the study,the proposed model showcases notable advancements in unsupervised image segmentation,with probabilistic rand index(PRI)values reaching 0.80,BDE scores as low as 12.25 and 12.02,compactness variations at 0.59 and 0.7,and variation of information(VI)reduced to 2.0 and 1.49 for the BSDS-500 and MSRC datasets,respectively,outperforming current leading-edge methods and yielding more precise segmentations.

The core purpose of data commoditization transformation is to lower the threshold of data utilization and facilitate data analysis and mining at the user end. In this paper, we propose a data commoditization degree evaluation model for data trading websites. First, the evaluation index system of data commercialization is constructed, combining the abstract indexes reflecting data commonality and industry-specific data commercialization standards to assess the degree of data commercialization;second, the fuzzy multi-attribute group decision-making method is utilized to conduct fuzzy evaluation of the indexes in response to the issue of user evaluation preference;and the fuzzy function corresponding to the fuzzy evaluation is calculated based on the fuzzy structured element afterwards. The degree of superiority of the program is calculated by fuzzy compromise group decision-making method. Finally, the simplicity, convenience, and effectiveness of the data commoditization assessment model are demonstrated through a speech data case study. © 2023 ACM.

As the field of machine learning continues to advance, the importance of effective exploratory data analysis (EDA) cannot be overstated, especially in the context of classification problems. This research paper introduces an innovative and automated approach to exploratory data analysis using Autoviz, a powerful Python library designed to streamline the visualization process for machine learning datasets. The study aims to demonstrate the efficacy of Autoviz in meaningful insights, facilitating feature understanding, and supporting data preprocessing for classification tasks. Furthermore, the paper discusses how Autoviz assists in feature selection by highlighting the relevance and importance of each feature about the target variable. This feature-centric analysis contributes to optimizing machine learning models by guiding the selection of relevant input features, thereby improving model accuracy and interpretability. Autoviz is a Python library designed to automate the exploratory data analysis (EDA) process for machine learning tasks. It is specifically tailored to generate a variety of visualizations that aid in understanding the structure and characteristics of a dataset. The results indicate that Autoviz significantly reduces the time and effort required for exploratory data analysis while maintaining the quality and depth of insights obtained. The differences between Autoviz and Pycaret is discussed in this paper. It has been observed that AutoViz automates the process of exploring and analyzing data, while PyCaret is designed for the comparison, construction, and tuning of machine learning models. © 2024 IEEE.

Beyond traditional binary relational facts, n-ary relational knowledge graphs (NKGs) are comprised of n-ary relational facts containing more than two entities, which are closer to real-world facts with broader applications. However, the construction of NKGs remains at a coarse-grained level, which is always in a single schema, ignoring the order and variable arity of entities. To address these restrictions, we propose Text2NKG, a novel fine-grained n-ary relation extraction framework for n-ary relational knowledge graph construction. We introduce a span-tuple classification approach with hetero-ordered merging and output merging to accomplish fine-grained n-ary relation extraction in different arity. Furthermore, Text2NKG supports four typical NKG schemas: hyper-relational schema, event-based schema, role-based schema, and hypergraph-based schema, with high flexibility and practicality. The experimental results demonstrate that Text2NKG achieves state-of-the-art performance in F1 scores on the fine-grained n-ary relation extraction benchmark. Existing research has shown that deep learning models contain considerable redundancy, requiring compression optimization to eliminate unnecessary parameters and improve computational efficiency. In model compression through pruning, many existing methods often use loss values to guide the identification of sub-network models. However, low training loss does not necessarily indicate good generalization ability. Consequently, reducing model parameters while preserving strong generalization performance has become a key area of research. Addressing the challenge of ensuring strong generalization performance of submodels after optimization through deep learning model pruning, we propose a channel-structured generalization estimation model. The model architecture incorporates Fully Connected Neural Networks (FCNN) and Gated Recurrent Units (GRU) as modules for channel feature extraction. Additionally, we introduce a differentiable pruning algorithm based on generalization estimation. Experimental results demonstrate the capability of the channel-structured generalization estimation model in predicting the generalization gap via regression. Furthermore, the proposed differentiable pruning algorithm effectively safeguards the generalization capability of sub-models. We conduct pruning experiments on NiN-structured convolutional neural network models on two datasets, CIFAR-10 and SVHN. Comparative experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach: achieving a 0.72% accuracy improvement over the original model on CIFAR-10; and a 0.12% accuracy improvement over the base model on SVHN while reducing FLOPs by 50.2%, validating the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

The healthcare industry is primarily driven by technological innovations as they are a significant source of inspiration to provide the best patient care. To provide patients with prompt, high-quality care, medical device manufacturing has grown at an unprecedented rate. Hospitals should use the best maintenance techniques to increase the life of their equipment while trying to reduce maintenance costs and efforts as medical device usage increases. This paper proposes a predictive maintenance method (PdM) to assist in identifying critical equipment failures with diverse and frequent failure modes. The proposed method is based on the understanding of the physics of the incident, real-time data collection of relevant parameters using Internet of Things (IoT) technology, and application of machine learning algorithms to predict and classify the condition of the device as good and bad. To demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of moving from traditional maintenance to PdM, an economic analysis should be provided. The objective of this study was to determine the challenge of medical device maintenance using an Internet of Things (loT) enabled automated health monitoring system for devices that generate large amounts of data. real-time data, at scale, in healthcare organizations. © 2023 IEEE.
