Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) technology has recently emerged as a critical component for monitoring and tracking tasks across a variety of application domains. The most difficult problem now is developing a power-efficient data collection technique. This is due to the fact that each sensor node in the network only has a certain amount of power resources. Clustering is used to improve power efficiency, network connectivity, and delay minimization. Therefore, because of data aggregation and cluster head selection, approaches base on clustering for information collection assume an essential part as far as power-saving and expanding the lifetime of the network. The IDAF- FIT (Fuzzy and Distributed Autonomous Fashion Integration The algorithm (If-then Rules) is suggested for clustering in this suggested approach, and in the interim, the Cluster kind of Head is also chosen. The routing concept is then started in order to transfer the packet from the source to the target node by selecting the best route. ASLPP-RR, Routing is suggested using an adaptive source location privacy preservation method. in this context. Additionally, Using Secure Data Aggregation based on Principle Component Analysis and integrity are preserved (SDA-PCA) technique. Finally, a thorough analysis of the security of sensitive data yields results that are superior to those of the current methods. The total performance of the suggested approach is described as a 20% increase in packet delivery ratio, a 15% decrease in packet dropping ratio, an 18% increase in residual power, a 22% increase in network lifespan, and a 16% decrease in power consumption when compared to existing. © 2023 IEEE.

An interactive system called imperative (AR) creates a realistic and genuine educational and learning environment. Alzheimer's, the most prevalent cause of dementia, leads to a continuous decline in cognitive functions, social skills, and behavior, affecting individuals' independent functioning. As per survey 2010 in India around 3.7 million affected by dementia, and this data is expected to twofold by 2030. The associated cost of care is projected to triple, necessitating ongoing support. This issue is a significant societal concern that warrants careful consideration. Prediction and classification of Alzheimer's disease (AD) are crucial for identifying and addressing it at earlier stages. The disease is typically classified into three stages: early-stage dementia, middle-stage, and late-stage. However, several challenges exist, including limited awareness, diagnostic difficulties, insufficient technologies and treatments, unpredictable progression across stages, and a lack of comprehensive stage-by-stage predictions. This work proposes a hybrid model for predicting, classifying, and stage-wise classifying Alzheimer's disease. The hybrid model aims to address the challenges associated with the disease, utilizing different features for prediction and classification. The hybrid model used a Random forest, convolutional neural network (CNN), kernel density algorithm (KDA) with hyperparameter tuning for accurate prediction and classification. The proposed hybrid method used Random forest used for basic classification, CNN and kernel density for stage wise classification. The proposed hybrid method achieved an impressive 95.6% accuracy in stage wise classification and prediction of AD. © 2024 IEEE.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) can be utilized to study the structure of pediatric brains non-invasively. In practice, low-field MRI scanners are widely adopted for pediatric brain imaging. However, the corresponding acquired MRI data usually suffers from severe artifacts, such as noise and motion. Therefore, an effective Quality Assessment (QA) method is essential. To this end, we design a Multi-Label MambaOut (MLMambaOut) model for the low-field pediatric brain MRI QA challenge. Specifically, we view this challenge as a multi-label classification task, utilizing four stages of gated convolution neural network blocks and ML-Decoder to finish the classification with class balance loss. Furthermore, we explore the performance of Mamba and some advanced models for this challenge. We performed extensive experiments on the challenge data, which is low-field and corrupted with seven kinds of artifacts. The results show that our MLMambaOut achieves superior classification results compared with other methods. © The Author(s) 2025.

The rapid development of multi-modal large language models (MLLMs) has positioned visual storytelling as a crucial area in content creation. However, existing models often struggle to maintain temporal, spatial, and narrative coherence across image sequences and frequently lack the depth and engagement of human-authored stories. To address these challenges, we propose Story with Large Language and Vision Assistant (StoryLLaVA), a novel framework for enhancing visual storytelling. Our approach introduces a Topic-Driven Narrative Optimizer (TDNO) that improves both the training data and MLLM models by integrating image descriptions, topic generation, and GPT-4-based refinements. Furthermore, we employ a preference-based ranked story sampling method that aligns model outputs with human storytelling preferences through positive-negative pairing. These two phases of the framework differ in their training methods: the former uses supervised fine-tuning, while the latter incorporates reinforcement learning with positive and negative sample pairs. Experimental results demonstrate that StoryLLaVA outperforms current models in visual relevance, coherence, and fluency, with LLM-based evaluations confirming the generation of richer and more engaging narratives. Chronic melancholy, lack of interest or enjoyment in activities, changes in diet or weight, abnormalities in sleep patterns, feelings of guilt or unworthiness, difficulty in concentration, and suicide or death thoughts are all symptoms of depression. Depression, if left untreated, can lead to a variety of problems, including an increased risk of self-harm or suicide, substance abuse, physical health issues, and social isolation. In this work we attempt to utilize machine learning techniques to detect a likely depressed social media user based on social media posts and compare the accuracy of built-in models using a variety of comparison methodologies. Using a multimodal deep learning framework, we have demonstrated the possibility to predict liver disease subtyping and prognosis with high accuracy. The framework includes over 1600 patients, for which medical imaging and clinical data have been collected. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Recurrent Neural Network (RNNs), and Long short-term memory (LSTMs) have been combined in the work to extract features from the input data and demonstrate correlation between input and output and model complexity. Such an approach allowed analyzing images and predicting liver diseases based on structural abnormality analysis with the use of CNNs. RNNs and LSTMs, in their turn, allowed combining features for multimodal data source analysis and sequential clinical data analysis providing information about patient history. The obtained results were accurate for each feature extraction and modeling, with the best performance demonstrated by CNN with RNN where the accuracy was 97.8% and another CNN with LSTM where the accuracy was around 94.5%. The model proved to be feasible and accurate in the context of its application to hepatology since multiple data sources were combined in the work. This approach allows accounting for all modes of data source and offers a comprehensive assessment including disease diagnosis and prognosis. The obtained results can be also applied to clinical practice where doctors can add data about their patients to receive more information on diagnosis or prognosis for better decision-making. Finally, the idea to use a multilayered feature from multimodal data sources can be transferable to other types of sequential and structural data and applied to other diseases for their diagnosis and prognosis. However, it is essential to test the framework in other settings to refine it or find limitations to its application. © 2024 IEEE.

The emergence of different computing methods such as cloud-, fog-, and edge-based Internet of Things (IoT) systems has provided the opportunity to develop intelligent systems for disease detection. Compared to other machine learning models, deep learning models have gained more attention from the research community, as they have shown better results with a large volume of data compared to shallow learning. However, no comprehensive survey has been conducted on integrated IoT- and computing-based systems that deploy deep learning for disease detection. This study evaluated different machine learning and deep learning algorithms and their hybrid and optimized algorithms for IoT-based disease detection, using the most recent papers on IoT-based disease detection systems that include computing approaches, such as cloud, edge, and fog. Their analysis focused on an IoT deep learning architecture suitable for disease detection. It also recognizes the different factors that require the attention of researchers to develop better IoT disease detection systems. This study can be helpful to researchers interested in developing better IoT-based disease detection and prediction systems based on deep learning using hybrid algorithms. © 2024 Xi'an Jiaotong University
