This paper on object detection by image processing to ensure the people suffering from various vision disorders to detect and to perceive the real image before them. The image perceived by the patients are rendered and developed so that the closest similar object is detected. The input to the program is a image which is fed to the set of processes which in turn gives a image that can be compared to the set of data to give the accuracy in (percentage) to which extend the image is similar to an object or animal.

The fifth generation (5G) is expected to fulfil the future users' needs of mobile users by proving them with the best connection while serving high data traffic volume with increased number of connected devices. The mobility of users is still a critical problem in the emerging 5G networks, especially in heterogeneous access networks where Received Signal Strength (RSS)-based handover (HO) decision will no more be reliable due to the diversity of co-existing aceess networks. Also, using a Quality of Service (QoS)- based HO decision with the traditional HO schemes will cause high complexity in the network, additional delay and signalling. This paper will propose a new Vertical Handover Decision (VHD) in 5G networks using the Software Defined Networking (SDN) paradigm. With the use of SDN, control plane and data plane are separated thus the HO decision can be made at the SDN controller (SDN-C). A performance study is conducted where we compare the SDN-based QoS solution to RSS-based solution and show the enhancement brought by the SDN in function of different performance parameters.

Background: The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic is a global health emergency with over 6 million cases worldwide as of the beginning of June 2020. The pandemic is historic in scope and precedent given its emergence in an increasingly digital era. Importantly, there have been concerns about the accuracy of COVID-19 case counts due to issues such as lack of access to testing and difficulty in measuring recoveries. Objective: The aims of this study were to detect and characterize user-generated conversations that could be associated with COVID-19-related symptoms, experiences with access to testing, and mentions of disease recovery using an unsupervised machine learning approach. Methods: Tweets were collected from the Twitter public streaming application programming interface from March 3-20, 2020, filtered for general COVID-19-related keywords and then further filtered for terms that could be related to COVID-19 symptoms as self-reported by users. Tweets were analyzed using an unsupervised machine learning approach called the biterm topic model (BTM), where groups of tweets containing the same word-related themes were separated into topic clusters that included conversations about symptoms, testing, and recovery. Tweets in these clusters were then extracted and manually annotated for content analysis and assessed for their statistical and geographic characteristics. Results: A total of 4,492,954 tweets were collected that contained terms that could be related to COVID-19 symptoms. After using BTM to identify relevant topic clusters and removing duplicate tweets, we identified a total of 3465 (<1%) tweets that included user-generated conversations about experiences that users associated with possible COVID-19 symptoms and other disease experiences. Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has reached 40 million confirmed cases worldwide. Given its rapid progression, it is important to examine its origins to better understand how people’s knowledge, attitudes, and reactions have evolved over time. One method is to use data mining of social media conversations related to information exposure and self-reported user experiences. Objective: This study aims to characterize the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of social media users located at the initial epicenter of the outbreak by analyzing data from the Sina Weibo platform in Chinese. Methods: We used web scraping to collect public Weibo posts from December 31, 2019, to January 20, 2020, from users located in Wuhan City that contained COVID-19–related keywords. We then manually annotated all posts using an inductive content coding approach to identify specific information sources and key themes including news and knowledge about the outbreak, public sentiment, and public reaction to control and response measures. Results: We identified 10,159 COVID-19 posts from 8703 unique Weibo users. Among our three parent classification areas, 67.22% (n=6829) included news and knowledge posts, 69.72% (n=7083) included public sentiment, and 47.87% (n=4863) included public reaction and self-reported behavior. Many of these themes were expressed concurrently in the same Weibo post. Subtopics for news and knowledge posts followed four distinct timelines and evidenced an escalation of the outbreak’s seriousness as more information became available. Public sentiment primarily focused on expressions of anxiety, though some expressions of anger and even positive sentiment were also detected. Public reaction included both protective and elevated health risk behavior. In vehicular adhoc networks abbreviated as VANETS vehicles are furnished with radio devices which qualify them to interchange traffic information without the requirement of any kind of infrastructure [3-6]. However the understanding of vehicle headway distribution is crucial for evaluating the probable range of connectivity in these vehicle ad hoc networks. Several studies on dissemination of vehicles in a single lane had taken into account the minimum safe distance to be maintained between consecutive vehicles. The account of this safe distance improves the agreement between vehicles conceptual spacing distribution and factual data in single lane traffic. Although the account of this minimum headway distance based VANETs has shown better results than other techniques but it still suffers from the effects of abnormal environmental conditions on traffic. So in order to remove these issues, a new technique is proposed. The proposed technique will use dynamic communication and dynamic path selection using artificial bee colony algorithm to enhance the results of VANETs further. Also the proposed technique is evaluated and compared with existing techniques on the basis of the parameters which include connectivity probability, end to end delay, throughput and overheads. © 2016 IEEE.

He has visited France Netherlands and Germany under Indo-Europe Clean Coal Development Program. He has guided 42 UG PG and PhD project works. Kaliappan completed his bachelors in electrical and electronics engineering and Masters in Computer Science. The practice of disclosure of information on corporate sustainability represents a breakthrough in relations between business and society. The initiative of the Global Reporting Initiative(GRI) in the adoption of XBRL in the process of dissemination of sustainability reporting contributes to the increase of their quality;however, the great heterogeneity of enterprise information systems still pose an obstacle to their use in the corporative scenario. This article presents a conceptual model for the adoption of a serviceoriented architecture for issuing reports based on XBRL taxonomy proposed by GRI in supporting the processes of disclosure of sustainability information.

This paper aims at the design and implementation of the utilities, in particular electricity dues payment system using the Automated Teller Machine. This also aims at providing an integrated framework for the due payment using the automated teller machine. The main of this system rests in providing an immediate availability of an option to the end user for payment of electricity dues at any instance of time period. The main attempt here is made to provide a design for a framework that will well integrate with and provide a convenient way of using the automated teller machine for the purpose of payment of utility services. This design consideration is also helpful in providing an alternative and an instant way for payment of the utilities that are important in the day today affairs of human life such as electricity dues by the end user. This paper contains a design consideration of the electricity dues payment using Automated Teller Machine with the help of the RESTful web services to improve the performance.
