This study explores how a game can be an effective active learning methodology for promoting health education and healthy eating habits among young students. The primary objective of the research was to develop an educational game that emphasizes the importance of healthy behaviors. To achieve this, the team created a game design document that described the game's main features, including themes, game mechanics, characters, scenarios, challenges, and feedback. The team used the Unity platform, a game development tool, to develop the game to create a unique game that engages young students in healthy activities. The game's educational content is reinforced through math.matical simulations that give players feedback about healthy choices, such as healthy eating and regular exercise. The feedback system aims to highlight the significance of healthy habits for overall health, even when the results of these habits may not be immediately visible. The team collaborated with health and nutrition experts to ensure the game's educational content was accurate and up-to-date. Experts validated the game to ensure its quality and effectiveness, while teachers tested its usability to identify any issues that could affect its use in the classroom. As a result of the research, the team developed an educational simulation tool primarily aimed at slightly older students. The game demonstrates the impact of good habits, breaking the problem of delayed gratification that affects young people. The game development methodology presented in this study can be a helpful model for educators and developers working in educational technology. The game's potential as an educational tool and its success in fostering healthy behaviors must encourage further research and development. Traditional teaching methods often need help engaging students and effectively fostering active participation and knowledge retention. There is a growing need for innovative educational tools to address this challenge that can enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Educational games have gained significant attention as an effective method to improve motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes in educational settings. This paper introduces Metabuleiro, a digital multiplayer board game developed as a gamified learning tool. While initially focused on teaching metabolism, obesity, and a healthy diet, Metabuleiro's versatility allows its application in various subjects. The objective is to provide teachers with a unique and engaging resource that enhances student engagement and promotes effective learning. Experts collaboratively developed Metabuleiro from computer science and biomedical science. The game combines elements of board games and quizzes to offer a collaborative and competitive learning experience. Careful consideration was given to the game's features, mechanics, and components to ensure an effective learning environment while maintaining an enjoyable gameplay experience. Throughout the development process, feedback from teachers at different educational levels was collected and incorporated into the game's revisions. The final version of Metabuleiro received positive evaluations from teachers, demonstrating high satisfaction and intentions to integrate the educational game or similar tools into their classes. This positive feedback highlights Metabuleiro's potential as an effective educational tool for enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. Furthermore, the game's adaptability allows it to be applied across various fields of study, making it a valuable resource for educators seeking to incorporate game-based learning and active educational methodologies in their classes. The rapid adoption of smartphones and the explosive growth of data traffic due to these devices have been phenomenal. As the world anticipates more connected devices - the Internet of Things (IoT), vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications, and wearable devices - and more value-added applications and services (ultra-high-definition video, 360° video, virtual reality, smart cars, etc.), leading industry experts are calling for the sixth generation (6G) networks. Federated learning is a common distributed machine learning framework. Through the training of the global model, the problems of large communication overhead and data privacy protection in traditional centralized machine learning are solved. Federated learning (FL) is essential in optimizing wireless communication networks' resources. On the other hand, wireless communications are crucial for FL. Therefore, the purpose of this survey paper is to bridge this gap in the literature by discussing the interdependency between FL and backhaul wireless communications. © 2023 ACM.

Cognitive radio (CR) is considered a primary technology for spectrum usage efficiency and dynamic spectrum management. Spectrum sensing is an essential cognitive radio cycle function. Recently, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) technology has emerged as a promising new enabler of 6G wireless communication, with the ability to control signal propagation and increase signal coverage and spectrum management. This paper investigates how integrating RISs with CR can improve spectral efficiency. First, we optimize the RIS parameters by identifying the optimal transmit powers and number of RIS antennas. Then, we compare the novel RIS technology with the traditional decode-and-forward (DF) relaying technology. Next, we investigate how adopting RIS can enhance spectral efficiency. Finally, we demonstrate how integrating the novel technology of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces with CR can significantly increase spectrum detection, the most crucial step in the cognitive radio process. Simulation studies indicate that RIS is more energy-efficient than SISO and DF-relay communications in various setups. Moreover, by boosting spectrum sensing capability in CR situations, RISs can significantly enhance the efficiency of frequency spectrum usage.

There is an enormous in number of vehicles in last few years. So, it becomes important to make effective use of technology to enable inconvenience free parking at public and/or private places. In traditional placing systems, drivers face difficulty in finding available placing slots. These systems ignore the fact of placing the vehicles on roads, time management in peak hours, wrong parking of a vehicle in a placing slot. Moreover, the traditional systems require more human intervention in a placing zone. To deal with above said issues, there is an urgent requirement of developing Real Time Intelligent placing system. In this proposed system a Real Time Intelligent placing system based on IOT and Deep learning techniques to answer the real time management of placing and uncertainties. The proposed solution utilizes smart sensors, cloud computing and cyber physical system. Development of graphical user interface for administrator and end-user is a major challenge as it requires ensuring smooth monitoring, control and security of placing system. Moreover, it needs to establish effortless coordination with an end-user. The proposed system is successful in smartly addressing the challenges such as indicating status of placing slot well in advance to end-user, use of reserved and unreserved placing slots, wrong placing, unauthorized placing, real time analysis of free and occupied slots, detecting multiple objects in a placing slot such as bike in car slot, fault detection in one or more components and traffic management during peak hours. The system reduces the human work, saves time, money and energy. © 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Amidst the ascension of more advanced technology in the digital era, information could easily be obtained at the fingertips. Despite risking being obsolete, libraries have remained essential as primary sources of information, research, and educational tools, especially for students and educators alike. As one of the public institutions, libraries strive to provide high-quality and optimal service to their customers. This research is conducted to amount the customer satisfaction and the service quality of the library users and determine if the quality of service is as perceived. An observation period was performed at which 100 data were collected and calculated using Fuzzy Service Quality (Servqual) at East Kalimantan Regional Library. The conclusion could be drawn that customer satisfaction was indeed low. Overall, this was suggested by the vast GAP value for the Tangibles dimension, which read −10.67. Customers were also left disappointed in particular by the quality of free Wi-Fi service, which read −14.92. This means that improvements are needed in those aforementioned areas.

Despite the huge efforts to develop and administer vaccines worldwide to copewith the COVID-19 pandemic, misinformation spreading through fake news in mediaand social networks about vaccination safety, make that people refuse to bevaccinated, which harms not only these people but also the whole population. In this work, we model the effects of harmful information spreading inimmunization acquisition through vaccination. Our model is posed for severalfractional derivative operators. We have conducted a comprehensive foundationanalysis of this model for the different fractional derivatives.
