Develop learning methods imr (integrated material realistic) alternative mathematics learning during a pandemic

The learning methods used by teachers in schools in Serang City are very ineffective, especially during the pandemic. This is because not integrated content of material in one subject with other subjects. Never mind between subjects, sometimes the material is not well integrated. The purpose of this study is to provide an alternative learning method during a pandemic, namely a method that integrates material with the realities of life which is abbreviated as IMR (Integrated Realistic Material). The method in this research is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE model. In making this learning method according to the stages from the ADDIE study. The results of this study are in the form of learning methods that are integrated with the realities of life during the pandemic.

Setting the physical scale of dimensional reduction in causal dynamical triangulations

Within the causal dynamical triangulations approach to the quantization of gravity, striking evidence has emerged for the dynamical reduction of spacetime dimension on sufficiently small scales. Specifically, the spectral dimension decreases from the topological value of 4 toward a value near 2 as the scale being probed decreases. The physical scales over which this dimensional reduction occurs have not previously been ascertained. We present and implement a method to determine these scales in units of either the Planck length or the quantum spacetime geometry’s effective de Sitter length. We find that dynamical reduction of the spectral dimension occurs over physical scales of the order of 10 Planck lengths, which, for the numerical simulation considered below, corresponds to the order of 10−1 de Sitter lengths.

Information on the availability of parking spaces is one of the main needs in urban areas. This information can minimize the impact of vehicle growth, including exhaust gas emissions, traffic jams, and fuel use. In general, the detection of parking space availability can be done in two ways, namely the sensor system and computer vision. Computer vision monitoring of parking spaces is more promising for use in the future. A single-camera can monitor multiple parking spaces by making use of computer vision. CNN is a technique for parking space classification. CNN's pre-trained dedicated to parking space classification is mAlexnet. mAlexnet can classify parking spaces well, but not perfect. in this paper, we try to observe and improve the performance of mAlexnet. We tried training options and activation function tuning. From the results of testing the combination of SGDM training option and the LeakyReLu activation function, the performance of mAlexnet improves.

This paper purpose to combine the GDSS framework with AHP and Copeland Score Model. The framework model is used to ranking popular tourism object in Bali. Tourism became one of the main factors in the development of an area. One of the famous tourist destinations in Indonesia is the province of Bali. Bali becomes a world tourism destination because of its culture and there are hundreds of tourism objects in Bali spread in every district. Each tourist object has beautiful characteristics and panoramas but not all tourist object have a high level of visits. There is an deferences between one tourist objects with the other, affecting the number of tourist visits. To overcome these problems by knowing the characteristics each tourism object that is done through the ranking process. The assessment and ranking process involves various parties related to tourism objects such as tourism, community, academia, government, and entrepreneurs. The model used is the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) algorithm, which is used to rank tourism objects individually and combine ranking results, using the Copeland score model. In the Copeland score model, each object has a weight that is different from each other. The next ranking becomes a reference for improving the assessment criteria of each tourism object. The results showed that the tourism object of Uluwatu is the first rank, with an assessment of 8.1 and Taman Ayun obtaining the last rank with a value of 1. Analysis of sensitivity and risk by changing the characteristic weights on the criteria by giving a high point has an impact on ranking changes. © 2018 IEEE.

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is one method that is often used in the benchmarking process. The benchmarking process with DEA is often faced with problems where there is a Decision Making Unit (DMU) both Input and Output which is not in the form of qualitative data but in the form of qualitative data. Qualitative data requires an assessment from the appraiser so that it can become quantitative data. This study will use the Fuzzy Simple Additive Weighting method to convert qualitative data into quantitative. The results of this study will produce a model that integrates DEA with Fuzzy Simple Additive Weighting. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Local super antimagic total vertex coloring of some wheel related graphs

Let G be a simple and finite graph with vertex set V and edge set E. The local antimagic total labeling of G is a map from V E to the set of positive integers from 1 to |V| + |E| such that the weight of two adjacent vertices are distinct. The weight of a vertex v is calculated by the sum of the label of the vertex v and the labels of all edges incident to it. If the vertices of G is labelled by the smallest labels, that is, {1, 2,..., |V|}, then the such labeling is called local super antimagic total labeling. Thus, the local super antimagic total labeling induces a proper vertex coloring of G where the vertex v is colored by the weight of vertex v. The minimum number of colors taken over all colorings induced by super local antimagic total labeling of G, is called local super antimagic total chromatic number of graph G, and denoted by χlsat(G). In this paper, we consider the local super antimagic total chromatic number of some wheel related graphs such as fans, even gear graphs, and sun flower graphs.

An e-Commerce company has been using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for several years, but is still constrained in its implementation, this is reflected in the number of issue/change request tickets submitted by users who have not been able to reach ideal conditions. To overcome this problem, we need an appropriate reference model, the ERP system user acceptance model in companies. The study conducted factors that influence the level of acceptance of SAP ERP users in the XYZ group to then determine a model that is able to explain practically the level of ERP system user acceptance, which in turn can produce concrete proposals to increase ERP system user acceptance. Research is quantitative descriptive using factor analysis and regression analysis methods. The research method uses a questionnaire with a total of 107 valid respondents coming from 8 company names under the XYZ group in 6 Southeast Asian countries. The conclusion of the study is that there are 24 indicators and 4 factors that influence user acceptance of the SAP ERP system. These four factors are the low contribution of the ERP system, the quality of ERP systems and data, the development of ERP systems, and also the low quality of ERP system supporters. It is hoped that by optimizing the value of the 4 factors, the XYZ group can increase user acceptance of the SAP ERP system so that the system can provide benefits expected by the company to be competitive advantage.

A New Hybrid Algorithm of Bisection and Modified Newton's Method for the nth root-finding of a Real Number

This paper presents a new algorithm to approximate the nth root of a given real number z. The proposed algorithm is a hybrid algorithm between the Bisection method and the combination of the inverse of sine series and Newton's method. The proposed algorithm will be tested to find the numerical results on Matlab programming. The results showed that if z > 1, the proposed method converges with the initial interval [1, z] and if 0 < z < 1, it converges with initial interval [0,4]. The comparison of the obtained result with Newton's method and AS-Newton's method shown that the efficiency of the proposed algorithm may better than both of them concerning the initial value.

Security is an important aspect in communicating using information technology. SMS is a service provided by mobile phones to communicate by sending short messages quickly and cheaply. Short message delivery is done by SMS network, so the messages are not sent directly to the destination mobile phone. Therefore the messages that are sending by the SMS service need to be protected, so the security of the messages sent to the SMS network remains protected by its confidentiality. In this study the software will be built to improve the security of messages on SMS communication. The software that is built serves to encrypt messages that will be sent and decrypt messages with entered through the SMS service. Software built using the 3DES (Triple Data Encryption Standard) algorithm. The 3DES algorithm is a flow algorithm (block cipher) which belongs to the type of symmetry key cryptography system. The implementation of the 3DES algorithm on software that is built using the Java-based programming language Java. So only software that uses the Android operating system can use this encryption and decryption application. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In stepped wedge cluster randomized trials (SW-CRTs), the intervention is rolled out to clusters over multiple periods. A standard approach for analyzing SW-CRTs utilizes the linear mixed model where the treatment effect is only present after the treatment adoption, under the assumption of no anticipation. This assumption, however, may not always hold in practice because stakeholders, providers, or individuals who are aware of the treatment adoption timing (especially when blinding is challenging or infeasible) can inadvertently change their behaviors in anticipation of the intervention for maximizing potential benefits. We provide an analytical framework to address the anticipation effect in SW-CRTs and study its impact when the treatment effect may or may not depend on the exposure time. We derive expectations of the estimators based on a collection of linear mixed models and demonstrate that when the anticipation effect is ignored, these estimators give biased estimates of the treatment effect. We also provide updated sample size formulas that explicitly account for anticipation effects, exposure-time heterogeneity, or both in SW-CRTs and illustrate how failing to account for these effects when they exist may lead to an underpowered study. Through simulation studies and empirical analyses, we compare the treatment effect estimators under considerations and discuss practical considerations for addressing anticipation in SW-CRTs.
