The main purpose of the study is to present a numerical approach to investigate the numerical performances of the fractional 4-D chaotic financial system using a stochastic *** stochastic procedures mainly depend on the combination of the artificial neural network(ANNs)along with the Levenberg-Marquardt Backpropagation(LMB)i.e.,ANNs-LMB *** fractional-order term is defined in the Caputo sense and three cases are solved using the proposed technique for different values of the fractional orderα.The values of the fractional order derivatives to solve the fractional 4-D chaotic financial system are used between 0 and *** data proportion is applied as 73%,15%,and 12%for training,testing,and certification to solve the chaotic fractional *** acquired results are verified through the comparison of the reference solution,which indicates the proposed technique is efficient and *** 4-D chaotic model is numerically solved by using the ANNs-LMB technique to reduce the mean square error(MSE).To authenticate the exactness,and consistency of the technique,the obtained performances are plotted in the figures of correlation measures,error histograms,and *** these figures,it can be witnessed that the provided technique is effective for solving such models to give some new insight into the physical behavior of the model.

Corrosion in stainless steel, abbreviated as SS, is still an exciting topic to study. Even though SS is a corrosion resistance material, this property will be degraded when exposed to high temperatures for a long time because of σ phase, such as a Fe-Cr compound, formation. The presence of this phase can be observed using a special chemical etchant solution that will give five specific colours to this phase: light brown, dark brown, bluish brown, light blue, and dark blue. In this study, the specimen sample is from ASTM A297. Furthermore, the metallography process is carried out to obtain microstructure images that describe the σ phase. Here, two grains were taken as objects to discretize with one of them was around the specimen sample center and the other was close to the boundary with the environment. The discretization resulted in a 2 x 5 frequency table, called contingency table, that is analysed by the independence χ2-test. The contingency table is also represented geometrically in cartesian. The study shows that two grains were not independent. The grain which was around the specimen sample center contained many σ phases dominated by light blue colour (43%). Heat transfer optimization is critical in many applications, such as heat exchangers, electric coolers, solar collectors, and nuclear reactors. The current work looks at the thermohydraulic behavior of Jeffery fluid flow along a plane containing a magnetic field, a non-uniform heat source/sink, and a porous media. Numerical solutions are derived using the Runge-Kutta 4th-order approach and the shooting method. Graphs show how Prandtl number (Pr), thermal stratification (e₁), Jeffery parameter (λ₁), porous parameter (λ₂), magnetic field (M), and heat generation/absorption (γ, a, b) affect velocity and temperature profiles. The results show that thermal stratification increases fluid velocity and temperature, whereas heat source/sink parameters have the reverse effect on heat transfer, and raising the Jeffrey parameter reduces velocity and increases boundary layer thickness. There is extremely high agreement with experimental data from the literature. This work illustrates the utility of hydromagnetic properties in modelling fluid flow over stretching/shrinking sheets in porous media. © 2024

A continuous boostlet transform for acoustic waves in space-time

Sparse representation systems that encode the signal architecture have had an exceptional impact on sampling and compression paradigms. Remarkable examples are multi-scale directional systems, which, similar to our vision system, encode the underlying architecture of natural images with sparse features. Inspired by this philosophy, the present study introduces a representation system for acoustic waves in 2D space-time, referred to as the boostlet transform, which encodes sparse features of natural acoustic fields with the Poincaré group and isotropic dilations. Continuous boostlets, (Equation presented), are spatiotemporal functions parametrized with dilations a > 0, Lorentz boosts θ ∈ R, and translations τ ∈ R2 in space-time. The admissibility condition requires that boostlets are supported away from the acoustic radiation cone, i.e., have phase velocities other than the speed of sound, resulting in a peculiar scaling function. The continuous boostlet transform is an isometry for L2(R2), and a sparsity analysis with experimentally measured fields indicates that boostlet coefficients decay faster than wavelets, curvelets, wave atoms, and shearlets. The uncertainty principles and minimizers associated with the boostlet transform are derived and interpreted physically. © 2024, CC BY.

Tracer study is one of the methods to get feedback from alumni regarding alignment of educational outcomes and the curriculum received with the competencies needed in the real world of business and industry. The outcome of an accurate and structured Tracer Study, can be an evaluation for universities in the development of their quality, teaching curriculum, and education system. There are a lot of interesting variables in Tracer Study that can be analyzed by a certain method. One of the methods that can be used is Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The purpose of using PCA is to reduce the most correlated data dimensions to uncorrelated data dimensions, that is new variables that are independent or uncorrelated. This paper aims to determine the factors that influence the related variables in the Tracer Study data at Bandung Institute of Technology in 2021. The variables used in this paper are GPA, salary, and the length of waiting time until they get the first job. Of these 3 variables, represented by two main components, obtained a total absorption of 72.85%.

The R-value is a measure of the strength of photospheric magnetic Polarity Inversion Lines (PILs) in Active Regions (ARs). This work investigates the possibility of a relation between R-value variations and the occurrence of X-class flares in ARs, not in the solar photosphere, as usual, but above it in regions, closer to where flares occur. The modus operandi is to extrapolate the Solar Dynamic Observatory’s (SDO) Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager (HMI) magnetogram data up to a height of 3.24 Mm above the photosphere and then compute the R-value based on the extrapolated magnetic field. Recent studies have shown that certain flare-predictive parameters such as the horizontal gradient of the vertical magnetic field and magnetic helicity may improve flare prediction lead times significantly if studied at a specific height range above the photosphere, called the Optimal Height Range (OHR). Here we define the OHR as a collection of heights where a sudden but sustained increase in R-value is found. For the eight case studies discussed in this paper, our results indicate that it is possible for OHRs to exist in the low solar atmosphere (between 0.36 - 3.24 Mm), where R-value spikes occur 48-68 hrs before the first X-class flare of an emerging AR. The temporal evolution of R-value before the first X-class flare for an emerging AR is also found to be distinct from that of non-flaring ARs. Frequency Spectra of Various Events Pertinent to Lightning Cloud Flashes Obtained from Wavelet Transform Technique and Ratified by Narrow Band Measurement Technique

In the present study, frequency spectra of the electric field corresponding to the various cloud events, such as, initial breakdown process, regular pulse bursts, chaotic pulse trains and recoil streamers have been analysed. For the purpose, electric field radiated by cloud flashes were obtained simultaneously by a wide bandwidth antenna system and two narrow bandwidth antenna systems tuned at 3 MHz and 30 MHz. The frequency spectra of the broad band electric field signatures were obtained by using the wavelet transform technique and were compared with the magnitudes of the narrow band signals at the given central frequencies. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first study in which frequency spectra is obtained transforming the time domain signal and ratified by narrow bandwidth system for the cloud flashes. Fifteen cloud flashes pertinent to the Swedish thunderstorms were selected for the purpose. It is found that, the cloud flashes radiate at frequencies as low as 3 kHz to as high as a few tens of Mega Hertz (MHz). Initial stage of the cloud flashes was found to radiate in the relatively low frequency range, whereas the final stage was found to radiate in relatively high frequency range. Electric field radiation corresponding to the initial breakdown process were found to radiate in the frequency range of 50 kHz to 5MHz on the average, maximum energy is being radiated in the frequency range of 500 kHz to 5 MHz. Similarly, the final stage corresponding to the regular pulse bursts was found to radiate in the frequency range of 50 kHz to 5 MHz and that corresponding to the chaotic pulse trains was found to be in the range of 100 kHz to 5 MHz. Whereas, the very narrow pulses at the final stage, that can be termed as pulses corresponding recoil streamers (or Q-streamers) were found to radiate in the frequency range of 50 kHz to well above 10 MHz. Genuine multipartite entanglement is a valuable resource in quantum information science, as it exhibits stronger non-locality compared to bipartite entanglement. This non-locality can be exploited in various quantum information protocols, such as teleportation, dense coding, and quantum interferometry. Here, we propose a scheme to generate scalable genuine multipartite continuous-variable entangled states of light using a parametric amplifier network. We verify the presence of genuine quadripartite, hexapartite, and octapartite entanglement through a violation of the positive partial transpose (PPT) criteria. Additionally, we use α-entanglement of formation to demonstrate the scalability of our approach to an arbitrary number of 2N genuinely entangled parties by taking advantage of the symmetries present in our scheme. The Hydrogen Intensity Real-time Analysis eXperiment (HIRAX) will be a large interferometric array of drift-scan radio telescopes designed to map the large-scale spatial fluctuations of neutral hydrogen in the Universe, in order to better understand the nature of dark energy. It will operate between 400–800 MHz, and is currently under construction in the Karoo desert of South Africa. It will also be a powerful tool for studying astronomical transients and the evolution of galaxies. Here we present an overview of the project, its anticipated deployment timelines, and highlight some of the characterisation and calibration efforts that are currently underway, or planned for the future.
