In the article the problem of analysis of the water-dissolved greenhouse gases interchange (CO2 and CH4) through the water surface with atmosphere is considered. We assess the seasonal variation of the gaseous interchange in the irkutsk water reservoir. This paper is concerned with an optimal impulsive control problem under intermediate state constraints. The control system of this problem is bilinear with respect to states of bounded variation and impulsive controls given by vector Borel measures. We propose necessary and sufficient optimality conditions based on special functions of the Lyapunov type. These functions possess the property of strong and weak monotonicity with respect to the impulsive control system. © 2020 IEEE.

Knowledge bases are one of the main elements of intelligent systems. In that, knowledge base engineering is traditionally considered as a "bottleneck" in the design of such systems, and it is a deterrent factor of their widespread use. Computer-aided construction of knowledge base that employs various information sources is a promising area of scientific research. Web tables may be one of such sources, and they are among the most accessible and common ways for representing and storing tabular information. In this paper, we propose to automate ontological knowledge base engineering by using the semantic annotation of data from web tables and present an approach to filling the ontological knowledge base with specific entities (facts) extracted from web tables. This approach is implemented in the form of a tool. The tool has been used to solve the problem of forming domain knowledge graphs for the TALISMAN framework.

In this paper, we study a discontinuous sweeping process involving prox-regular sets and a multivalued perturbation in a separable Hilbert space. The variation of the moving set is controlled by a positive Radon measure and the values of the perturbation are closed, not necessarily convex sets. A solution of the sweeping process is a pair consisting of a right continuous function of bounded variation whose differential measure is absolutely continuous with respect to some positive Radon measure and an integrable selector of theperturbation considered on this *** with the original perturbation we consider the perturbation with the convexified values. We prove theorems of existence and relaxation of solutions. The latter means the density of the solution set of the sweeping process with the original perturbation in the solution set of the sweeping process with the convexified perturbation. © 2023, The Authors. The technology of forming a database of glaciers based on a set of WPS services is discussed in the article. Technology services are used to highlight the boundaries of the visible part of glaciers by satellite imagery using a trained neural network. Based on the results of the glacier extraction, its characteristics are calculated and a database is formed according to specified rules. Copyright © 2019 for this paper by its authors. This study demonstrates a comparative analysis of surface and satellite measurements. The average concentrations of PM2.5 and CO, SO2, measured at the Listvyanka station located on the coast of Lake Baikal, were considered. Satellite measurements data (Copernicus Sentinel-5P) were recomputed based on the SILAM model. A joint analysis of data showed that satellite measurements were suitable for a spatial description of regional air pollution. The computed maxima coincided with the surface measurements in terms of time periods and general monitoring results. However, at extreme increases in concentrations of pollutants, a significant difference in the numerical values was registered. Satellite monitoring data confirmed the relationship between the increase in PM2.5 and CO concentrations in the air basin at the Listvyanka station and the transfer of smoke plumes from intense forest fires located at a distance of 1, 500-2, 000 km. © 2022 SPIE.

The main object of study in this paper is the well-known Somos-4 recurrence. We prove a theorem that any sequence generated by this equation also satisfies Gale-Robinson one. The corresponding identity is written in terms of its companion elliptic sequence. An example of such relationship is provided by the second-order linear sequence which, as we prove using Wajda’s identity, satisfies the Somos-4 recurrence with suitable coefficients. Also, we construct a class of solutions to Volterra lattice equation closely related to the second-order linear sequence. © 2023, CC BY.

Object detection and recognition is an important task in many document analysis applications. It is a difficult problem due to different page layouts and representation formats. Recently the deep learning in computer vision has significantly boosted the data-driven image-based approaches for page layout analysis. In this paper, we consider open formats of electronic documents to generate training datasets. Formats of these documents should contain markup allowing obtaining information about page layout regions. It will allow us to generate a training dataset automatically for training ANN models of page layout analysis. © 2020 for this paper by its authors. This paper describes a platform approach to the organization of digital environmental monitoring of the forest resources of the Baikal natural territory (BNT), some characteristics of the current state of forests in the BNT and schemes of organization of state environmental monitoring in a traditional format. Some features and problems of forest resources monitoring of the BNT that complicate decision-making are formulated. Relationships between heavy metal migration in soils and landslide dynamics under conditions of modern climate change: A case study of Lake Baikal, Olkhon Island

The problem of studying landslide processes has attracted worldwide attention due to both the increase in human activities. New data for environmental monitoring of the Lake Baikal coast were obtained. The main goal aims to establish relationships between modern climate changes and the landslide process dynamics, as expressed in the assessment of Hg, Pb, Cd contamination levels, the identification of their possible sources and interelemental relationships, as well as the evaluation of some natural factors. Some improvements to previously developed analytical and physical-mechanical techniques have been made, which have enabled to improve some statistical characteristics for the analytical methods, as well as to achieve uniform moisture distribution throughout the tested sample to the specified values. The coastal zone was classified as moderately to heavily contaminated by Hg (2.97) and Pb (2.08) using the Cf method. The EF and Igeo methods indicated that a significant amount of Hg and Pb was probably from anthropogenic sources. The PCA indicated a strong inverse relationship between Hg and Cd (−0.833) in the landslide zone (L3 site) and a perfect positive relationship in the coastal zone (0.992) that suggests different sources and pathways. A change in soil temperature to positive values (from 0.6 to 1.1 °C) leads to an increase in the depth of thawing, which results in a lowering of the permafrost roof. This proves that permafrost rocks influence landslide activation, which in turn leads to migration of heavy metals in the landslide. These conclusions are fully consistent with the main goal of the study and the proposed hypotheses. These findings can help the authorities of the National Parks and other individuals in charge of making decisions regulate the anthropogenic load on the ecosystem of Olkhon Island and generally the Baikal region. © 2025
