The paper addresses the problem of supporting research of the energy systems resilience. The resilience is concerned with the energy system ability to withstand large disturbances. To reach the goal of creating user-friendly software for decision making support in that field, a software platform is considered. It includes some original frameworks for retrieving, gathering, querying and analysing data, and building thematic maps to produce disturbance scenarios and evaluate consequences of their impact. The main advantage of the proposed platform is its applicability for all the stages of the energy system resilience research starting from risk mitigation assessment and ending with comparing alternative recovering or reconstruction strategies. The paper presents the concept of a software complex for solving interdisciplinary problems based on self-organization features. In particular, the basic principles and stages of self-organization process during solving an interdisciplinary problems of designing complex technical systems, as well as the architecture of proposed software along with some details of implementation are considered. The architecture of the software complex includes subject and problem ontologies, data and knowledge bases, set of "solvers" as well as intelligent scheduler. The intelligent scheduler implements the self-organization algorithm and provides creation the computing environment for solving considered problem using "solvers" as a buildings blocks. The implementation of self-organizing algorithm base on combination of knowledge representation as an ontologies, group decision-making, component and model-oriented approaches. Self-organization features in context of designing complex technical systems task are implemented on the stages of defining the design methodology, determining the source data, solving the problem, and training the system. The intelligent scheduler can analyze the state of current task with set of indicators and manage it through a set of local rules. This paper presents examples of local rules for each stage. The stages specifications in the form of technological diagrams that contains components used ("solvers"), their connections along with the results of their work describe the self-organization process features related to each stage. The software implementation are based on the capabilities of the used platform for creating knowledge-based systems developed by the authors and component approach applied to specialized component development. © 2020 for this paper by its authors. Nowadays, determining critical components of energy systems is a relevant problem. The complexity of its solving increases significantly when it is necessary to take into account the simultaneous failures of such components. Usually, in problem-solving, processing a large number of failure variants and their consequences is required. Processing such data using traditional relational database management systems does not allow us to quickly identify the most critical components. In the paper, our successful practical experience in applying an in-memory data grid within large-scale analyzing of the energy system vulnerability is provided. The experimental analysis showed the good scalability of distributed computing and significant reduction in data processing time compared to using an open-source SQL relational database management system. In developing and applying the distributed applied software package for solving the aforementioned problem we have used the Orlando Tools framework. Within its applying, we have implemented continuous integration of the package software taking into account the preparing and processing of subject-oriented data through the in-memory data grid. The paper is devoted to the multiple covering problem by circles of two types. The number of circles of each class is given as well as a ratio radii. The circle covering problem is usually studied in the case when the distance between points is Euclidean. We assume that the distance is determined using some particular metric arising in logistics, which, generally speaking, is not Euclidean. The numerical algorithm is suggested and implemented. It based on an optical-geometric approach, which is developed by the authors in recent years and previously used only for circles of an equal radius. The results of a computational experiment are presented and discussed. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The paper addresses a relevant problem of predicting the runtime of jobs for executing problem-solving schemes of large-scale applications in a heterogeneous distributed computing environment. Such an environment includes nodes that have various hardware architectures, different system software, and diverse computational possibilities. We believe that increasing the accuracy in predicting the runtime of jobs can significantly improve the efficiency of problem-solving and rational use of resources in the heterogeneous environment. To this end, we propose new models that make it possible to take into account various estimations of the module runtime for all modules included in the problem-solving scheme. These models were developed using the special computational model of distributed applied software packages (large-scale scientific applications). In addition, we compare the prediction results (jobs runtime and their errors) using different estimations. Among them are the estimations obtained through the modules testing, user's estimations, and estimations based on computational history. These results were obtained in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of applied and system software of a package for solving warehouse logistics problems. They show that the largest accuracy is achieved by the modules testing. Copyright © 2020 for this paper by its authors. Nowadays, the study of the behavior of social, economic, and technical queuing systems at different stages of their design and operation is a challenge for simulation modeling. The complexity of the dynamic structure of such systems is owing to a number of factors. Among them are a large number of system characteristics and relations between them, the existence of a large spectrum of distribution laws of random events, the need to collect and analyze current data on the system under study, and the presence of various constraints. Moreover, relations can be represented by functional, statistical, ambiguous, or other mappings. Unfortunately, simulation modeling tools are not widespread in designing and applying business processes, unlike other products of information and computation technologies (system of the office administration, warehouse management, etc.). In this regard, we present an approach to developing web-service for simulation modeling of queuing systems. Within the approach, we automate some stages of web-service development and use. To this end, we apply tools that support distributed computing with parameter variations in a heterogeneous environment, which includes virtualized resources. We provide a multi-agent management of computations. The practical use of the tools is shown on the example of developing a web-service for simulation modeling of a typical health and care institution. © 2021 for this paper by its authors. New details of the implementation of the data representation and editing component of the knowledge-based systems development platform is proposed in the paper. The two modes of considered component is described. The typical component structure along with the core to client component parts communication issues are presented. The main UI control elements are listed and grouped according to the criteria of the number of efforts that applied developers spend in the course of making UI. On the top of controls from the first group considered component provides user interface for data control component and implements unified user interface for any valid component of the platform. The second group is responsible for user interface of the platform as a whole and also for problem-oriented functions of the core components (for example, rule or workflow editors). The third group relies on a predefined set of parameterized typical database manipulations and supports the applied developer in the process of UI customization. The implementation of two techniques is considered on the case of the conceptual model design component extension. © 2020 for this paper by its authors. Efficient and autonomous execution of large-scale missions using a group of robots implies the use of an advanced control system, usually consisting of multiple subsystems arranged in a hierarchy. For the purpose of unification of interaction of separate subsystems, an event-based cooperative control framework for robot teams is developed. In the paper, we demonstrate how this framework can be used in solving challenging problems in robotics: path-following problem, real-time path-planning problem, group routing problem, and action-planning problem. A novel approach to formalization and analysis of logic discrete event systems, which are the main component of the framework, based on logic calculus and automatic theorem proving is also briefly described. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Various compression algorithms use linear transforms to represent data vectors in different coordinate systems, where they can be compressed better. The matrices usually have oat coe cients, and the data vectors are integer, so some rounding is required. And to make the compression lossless it is required to make these transforms reversible, i.e. to be able to exactly restore the original vectors from the results of their transform. In this article we'll consider a straightforward algorithm for nding the decomposition of linear transform matrix and the approaches for estimation of the mean square approximation error and for nding the optimal decomposition, which minimizes the error. © 2020 for this paper by its authors. We present detailed analysis of the T-even lepton angular distribution in the Drell-Yan process including γ/Z0 gauge boson exchange and using perturbative QCD based on the collinear factorization scheme at leading order in the αs expansion. We focus on the study of the transverse momentum QT dependence of the corresponding hadronic structure functions and angular coefficients up to next-to-next-to-leading order in the Q2T/Q2 expansion. We analyze QT dependence numerically and compare T-even angular coefficients integrated over rapidity with available data of the ATLAS Collaboration at LHC. Additionally, we present our results for the forward-backward asymmetry and compare it with data. © 2024, CC BY.
