The problem of software modeling having various models as sources and its transformation based on logical inference is considered. Source models are converted into graphs of RDF and then processed with knowledge based system organized in a network of objects. Various notation can be used to represent models, such as UML, SysML, CMMN, BPMN2.0, as well as RDF graphs and analyzed source code, having implemented a corresponding converter. The objects are represented in the LogTalk programming language. Objects query graphs and other objects implementing a scenario of a software system synthesis within Model Driven Architecture paradigm. Usage of such kind of transformation approach allows us to develop software system carcasses on the level of abstract models, involve various sources of model data in the transformation, define and structuring conversion knowledge as objects. An example of a dataflow environment synthesis encapsulating Mothur library for new generation sequencing is presented. © 2019 IEEE.

Efficient and autonomous execution of large-scale missions using a group of robots implies the use of an advanced control system, usually consisting of multiple subsystems arranged in a hierarchy. For the purpose of unification of interaction of separate subsystems, an event-based cooperative control framework for robot teams is developed. In the paper, we demonstrate how this framework can be used in solving challenging problems in robotics: path-following problem, real-time path-planning problem, group routing problem, and action-planning problem. A novel approach to formalization and analysis of logic discrete event systems, which are the main component of the framework, based on logic calculus and automatic theorem proving is also briefly described. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Creating embedded decision-making modules for web applications that implement artificial intelligence methods in the form of knowledge bases is quite an interesting task. Specialized methodologies and software are being developed to solve them. At the same time, the use of generative and visual programming principles, as well as model transformations, can provide better results. In our previous works, we proposed to apply these principles combined with the model-driven approach for the automated creation of expert systems and knowledge bases. In this paper, we extend the previously developed method with new platforms, in particular: PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) and Drools, as well as we add the possibility to use the decision tables formalism and Microsoft Excel tools for their construction. The modified (extended) method allows one to effectively create knowledge bases with a large number of logical rules and generate the source code for web embedded decision-making modules. This extension is implemented as a plugin for an expert system prototyping system, namely, Personal Knowledge Base Designer. This paper describes the extended method and examples of its application for the development of web application modules: for making decisions when detecting banned messages and identifying customers who violate rules of using the SMS notification service ("Detector"), and interpreting signs of emotions within the HR-Robot application ("EmSi-Interpreter"). The proposed method was also evaluated in solving educational (test) tasks. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The article is devoted to the creation of WPS services for the geoportal using the case study of an online service for modeling the dynamics of forest resources. The resulting service works on the basis of a mathematical model of the dynamics of forest areas of a subregional level according to age classes in time and space. Verification of the selected mathematical model was carried out previously, for which the data of real observations and calculated values were compared. The service displays the simulation results on the geoportal in the form of a thematic map of the region. The map legend corresponds to the calculation results: dark shades indicate an increase in forest areas of the selected territory, light shades indicate their decrease over the calculation period. In conclusion, the directions of further development of the created online service for modeling the dynamics of forest resources are given. Copyright © 2019 for this paper by its authors.

The use of Semantic Web technologies (including ontologies) for intelligent systems and knowledge bases engineering is a widespread practice, it is true especially for tasks of conceptualization and formalization. However, tools and approaches used for these tasks in most cases provide only a manual manipulation of concepts and relationships. In this regard, the use of various information sources for automated ontology engineering is relevant. One of these sources is spreadsheets. In this paper, we propose an approach for the automated creation of ontological schemas based on the analysis and transformation of spreadsheets data. The feature of our approach is the original relational canonicalized form of spreadsheets. This form is used for preprocessing spreadsheets and unifying the input data. The proposed approach is implemented in the form of a plugin (***) for Personal Knowledge Base Designer - software for prototyping rule-based expert systems. Under consideration is the problem of stability of switched discrete systems with the generalized homogeneous right-hand sides. The conditions are obtained for the existence of the common Lyapunov function, and a method for its construction is proposed in the form of a combination of the partial Lyapunov functions obtained for isolated subsystems. For a special case of linear three-dimensional systems, some algorithms are proposed for constructing common Lyapunov functions as quadratic and fourth degree forms. Some examples illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. © 2018, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

The paper presents a problem formulation for the development of a theoretical and software framework for creating systems of data extraction from arbitrary spreadsheet tables. The problem covers the tasks of the automatic recovering semantic markup of tables, conceptualization of their natural-language content, data cleaning and lineage, generating relational and linked data, as well as a synthesis of tabular data transformation systems based on table analysis and interpretation rules. The Web stores a large volume of web-tables with semi-structured data. The Semantic Web community considers them as a valuable source for the knowledge graph population. Interrelated named entities can be extracted from web-tables and mapped to a knowledge graph. It generally requires reconstructing the semantics missing in web-tables to interpret them according to their meaning. This paper discusses prospects of an end-to-end solution for the knowledge graph population by entities extracted from web-tables of predefined types. The discussion covers theoretical foundations both for transforming data from web-tables to entity sets (table analysis) and for mapping entities, attributes, and relations to a knowledge graph (semantic table annotation). Unlike general-purpose text mining and web-scraping tools, we aim at developing a solution that takes into account the relational nature of the information represented in web-tables. In contrast to the table-specific proposals, our approach implies both the table analysis and the semantic table annotation. © 2021 Copyright for this paper by its authors.
