An information system has been developed for collecting data with postal addresses. The system makes it possible to increase the efficiency of publishing new information in the form of maps. Found addresses require expert judgment for the suitability and usefulness for publication. Smooth solutions to some differential-difference equations of neutral type

The paper is devoted to the scalar linear differential-difference equation of neutral type dx(t)/dt + p(t)dx(t - 1)/dt = a(t)x(t - 1) + b(t)x(t) + f(t). We study the existence of and methods for finding solutions possessing required smoothness on intervals of length greater than 1. The following two settings are considered (1) To find an initial function g(t) defined on the initial set t [t ₀ - 1, t ₄] such that the continuous solution x(t), t > t ₀, generated by g(t) possesses the required smoothness at points divisible by the delay time. For the investigation, we apply the inverse initial-value problem method. (2) Let a(t), b(t), p(t), and f(t) be polynomials and let the initial value x(0) = x ₀ be assigned at the initial point t = 0. Polynomials satisfying the initial-value condition are considered as quasi-solutions to the original equation. After substitution of a polynomial of degree N for x(t) in the original equation, there appears a residual Δ(t) = O(t ^N ), for which sharp estimates are obtained by the method of polynomial quasi-solutions. Since polynomial quasi-solutions may contain free parameters, the problem of minimization of the residual on some interval can be considered on the basis of variational criteria. © 2008 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc.

The physical basis of the method of implementing quantum logical operations in a continuous microwave field in a system of two electrons with different g-factors and a constant exchange interaction is developed. A small variable additive ΔB(t) to the magnetic field is proposed as a control action. It is obtained that a simple functional dependence ΔB(t), based on harmonic functions, allows us to perform elementary quantum logical operations and their sequences. This method is adapted to the experimental conditions. © 2018, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

The article provides a technology for estimating of potential flooding areas in the lower pool of the Irkutsk HPP at high mandatory water flow expenses through its water abstraction points, that probability has increased significantly since 2001, following the adoption by the Government of Russian Federation of a decree on strict control limits of Lake Baikal level within 456-457 m (in Pacific reference system). The article offers investigation on structure and method of digital modeling of the relief of the Angara river within 67 km in conditions of limited information (inaccuracy of the underwater and above-water relief).

A major application of the inversion methods is imaging all types of structural, physical, chemical and biological features of matter. The term vortex beam refers to a beam of electromagnetic radiation, electrons, photons or otherwise - whose phase changes in corkscrew-like manner along the direction of propagation. The paper is devoted to the use of scalar Bessel beams of integer and fractional modes for the reconstruction of scattering potential. In practical applications one naturally deals with Bessel beams truncated in the radial direction. The inversion formula for truncated Bessel beams is also obtained. Instead of the conventional Fourier diffraction theorem (Kak in Principles of computerized tomographic imaging, SIAM, New York, 2001), the relations connecting the scattering field and the scattering potential in the Fourier space are obtained in the explicit form. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature India Private Limited 2024.

The Baikal Natural Territory includes Lake Baikal, its water protection zone, the basin within the territory of the Russian Federation, adjacent specially protected natural areas, and also the territory adjacent to the lake up to 200 kilometers wide to the west and northwest of it. The development of decisions to solve environmental problems of Baikal Natural Territory should be based on a comprehensive analysis of the monitoring data. The monitoring data and analysis methods are distributed among participants (organizations and departments). But data and analysis methods exchange is very low. An approach is proposed for the introduction of digitalization in the environmental monitoring of the Baikal natural territory, based on the integrated implementation of cyber-physical systems, the digital method of data transmission, as well as the use of digital ecosystems and platforms using the service-oriented paradigm, OGC standards, end-to-end and WEB technologies, cloud and distributed computing, large amounts of spatio-temporal data. Based on service-oriented paradigm digital resources and processing services implementing REST or WPS standard should be created by the monitoring participants. Requirements for digital resources have been defined. Infrastructure components have been developed to simplify development of digital resources, processing services and to organize interaction among participants. © 2021 institute of Physics Publishing. The paper presents logical derivation algorithms that can be applied to inversion of polynomially computable discrete functions. The proposed approach is based on the fact that it is possible to organize DPLL derivation on a small subset of variables appeared in a CNF which encodes the algorithm computing the function. The experimental results showed that arrays of conflict clauses generated by this mode of derivation, as a rule, have efficient ROBDD representations. This fact is the departing point of development of a hybrid DPLL+ROBDD derivation strategy: derivation techniques for ROBDD representations of conflict databases are the same as those ones in common DPLL (variable assignments and unit propagation). In addition, compact ROBDD representations of the conflict databases can be shared effectively in a distributed computing environment. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.

Perhaps, PDF is the most popular format to share non-editable documents. PDF documents are often untagged. In particular, this means that positions and the cell structure of tables are not designated explicitly. PDF table detection predicts bounding boxes of tables on document pages. Some of the predictions inevitably happen to be false. This negatively affects the accuracy of table structure recognition. We argue that the page layout analysis in pre- and post-processing can refine the table detection. We suggest pre-processing algorithms for the recognition of headings, running titles, paragraphs, and images in PDF pages. This allows selecting areas of interest inside pages where real tables can be placed. Then we use deep neural networks to predict tables only in these areas. We also propose post-processing algorithms to verify predictions and filter out false table candidates after table detection. Our empirical study shows that the proposed approach reduces errors in the table detection and improve the PDF table extraction overall. © 2021 IEEE.
