To the high-precision adjustment of the source of electromagnetic radiation in the geostationary orbit

The paper studies a multivariate nonlinear regression-tensor model in the substantiation of necessary and sufficient conditions of the optimal multifactorial process of precision calibration of the parameters of the electromagnetic radiation source in the geostationary orbit (for example, satellite of system GLONASS). The paper proposes a robust-adaptive strategy of a posteriori formation of the target functional of the electromagnetic observability of weighted distribution signal in a fixed unit of fixed ground points on the basis of observations of this signal, executed with an error. © 2018 by Begell House Inc.

We consider the initial value problem in linear differential-algebraic equations and highlight the difficulties of the construction of numerical methods for these problems. We propose one-step difference schemes based on the collocation-variational approach and show the principal difference between these algorithms and the known difference schemes. This paper addresses a nonconvex optimization problem where the cost function and inequality constraints are d.c. functions. Two special local search methods based on the idea of the consecutive solution of partially linearized problems are developed. The latter problems turn out to be convex and therefore solvable with the help of software packages for convex optimization. The first method linearizes both the objective function of the problem and all constraints functions. The second approach is based on the reduction of the original problem to a penalized problem without constraints via the exact penalization theory. The methods developed were computationally tested on some well-known test examples and specially generated problems with known local and global solutions. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Clustering is one of the basic tasks in machine learning and data mining. Euclidean minimum-sum-of-squares clustering problem is probably the most common clustering model. It consists in finding k cluster centers or representatives so as the sum of squared Euclidean distances from a set of points and their closest centers is minimized. The problem is known to be nonconvex and NP-hard even in the planner case. In this paper, we propose a new DC programming approach to the problem. First, we cast the original nonconvex problem as a continuous optimization problem with the objective function represented as a DC function. We then devise a solution algorithm, resting upon the global optimality conditions and global search scheme for DC minimization problems proposed by A.S. Strekalovsky. We implement the developed algorithm and compare it with k-means clustering algorithms on generated datasets. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

A system of nonlinear parabolic differential equations is being studied, considered as a distributed mathematical model of the process of examining three-dimensional space by interacting robotsof two types. Parametric families of exact solutions have been built that can be used to form the control of the survey process by creating the necessary densities at the border of the area that is the base for robots. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Abstract: We consider a system of two nonlinear second-order parabolic equations with *** of this type are applied in chemical kinetics to describe reaction-diffusion processes. Weprove the existence and uniqueness theorem of an analytic solution having the diffusion-wave typeat a given wave front. The proof is constructive, and the solution had the form of a power serieswith recursively calculated coefficients. Moreover, we propose some numerical algorithm based onthe boundary element method whose verification uses the segments of analytic solutions. © 2021, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

The paper deals with three numerical approaches that allow one to construct computational technologies for solving nonconvex optimization problems. We propose to use the developed algorithms based on modifications of the tunnel search algorithm, the Luus–Yaakola method, and the expert algorithm. The presented techniques are implemented within the framework of the software package and are used for solving nonconvex optimization problems of various classes, in particular, the minimization of the potential function for the Sutton–Chen atomic-molecular cluster, the problem of parametric identification of nonlinear dynamic systems, and the nonconvex optimal control problem. © 2022, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.

The paper promotes a relatively novel class of multi-agent control systems named "impulsive" continuity equations. systems of this sort, describing the dynamics of probabilistically distributed "crowd" of homotypic individuals, are intensively studied in the case when the driving vector field is bounded and sufficiently regular. We, instead, consider the case when the vector field is unbounded, namely, affine in a control parameter, which is only integrally constrained. This means that the "crowd" can be influenced by "shock" impacts, i.e., actions of small duration but very high intensity. For such control continuity equations, we design an impulsive relaxation by closing the set of solutions in a suitable coarse topology. The main result presents a constructive form of the relaxed system. A connection of the obtained results to problems of contact dynamics is also discussed along with applications to optimal ensemble control and other promising issues. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019.

Clustering is one of the basic data analysis tools and an important subroutine in many machine learning tasks. Probably, the most well-known and popular clustering model is the Euclidean minimum-sum-of-squares clustering problem, also known as the k-means problem. Clustering with Bregman divergences is a generalization of the k-means problem where the distances between data items and closest cluster centers are computed according to any Bregman divergence, rather than the squared Euclidean distance. In this paper, we consider a mathematical programming problem of clustering with Bregman divergences. We propose several representations of the problem in the form of a DC (difference of convex) program and develop a DC programming approach to solve it. We provide particular DC representations and particular DC solution algorithms for several widely-known Bregman divergences. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

A distributed computing environment is being formed within the geoportal IDSTU SB RAS, which is mainly used for processing spatial data. Processing services that implement the WPS standard, and data storage services, a catalog of WPS services, and service execution systems and their compositions have been developed. In the system for executing services statistics data is collected on user-made service calls. The analysis of the obtained statistical data is carried out in order to identify the data transfer between services calls and build service compositions.
