Adaptive digital beamforming(ADBF) at subarray level is one of crucial techniques for phased array radar. Generalized sidelobe canceller(GSLC) at subarray level is an effective solution in the presence of array imperfections such as amplitude and phase errors, while the key lies in appropriate blocking matrix(BM) to block desired signal and adaptive weights for suppressing jammers. While at subarray level, using conventional BM will degrade the performance of beam such as that notch deviates for phase errors and signal-to-interference- plus-noise ratio(SINR) loses. This paper presents an implementation for GSLC configuration at subarray level by utilizing Householder transformation to determine BM. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method can raise SINR obviously and is insensitive to channel errors even if to phase ones. © 2012 IEEE.

Simulation and spectral analysis of sea wave

This paper deals with the method of simulating sea wave for decreasing its disturbance in the watercraft navigating. Firstly the ITTC two-parameter spectrum is selected as the power spectrum of sea wave to be simulated. Secondly the selected power spectrum is parted on a prescription composed of drugs of equal amount energy, and the harmonic frequency is determined by calculating the mass center of each section. Each order harmonic is synthesized on the basis of the Longuet-Higgins model in time domain. Finally, the simulation algorithm based on energy in part is presented and the simulated sea wave with time and space are determined. The simulation accuracy arrives at 1.6% compared with the ideal sea wave spectrum by the spectrum analysis of the simulated sea wave in Welch. That testifies the validity of this method and provides the watercraft movement parameters filtering with reliable exciting signals. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Ant colony algorithm and genetic algorithm optimization for test vector reordering

Power dissipation during testing has been found to be much more than during normal mode due to increased switching activity. Test vector reordering technique helps mitigate this problem as it enables the reduction of switching activity during testing. This study presents a new test vector reordering approach. This approach maps the reordering problem to Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). A hybrid ant colony algorithm and genetic algorithm is presented to solve this problem. The proposed approach is effective and verified with ISCAS'85 benchmark circuits which shows that yield on an average of about 30.05% reduction in switching activity. © 2012 Asian Network for Scientific Information.

Research on rapid detection method of protein content in milk dilute solution

This paper puts forward a method to detect milk protein contents quickly. In this paper, the transmitted and scattered light are detected first, and we choose the position for detection of the scattered light, and dissolve the protein into small molecules through the fast-dissolving liquid, so we can get the content of fat by establishing a model of the ratio of scattered intensity to transmitted intensity. After detecting the milk dilute solution including both protein and fat, the protein content is obtained by establishing the correlation model. Simulation and experimental results show that the method of associated scattering put forward in this paper is entirely feasible, and the maximum error compared with the calibration values is 2.6%, which is fully compliance with the precision milk protein detection. The method is intuitive and rapid, which is suitable for measurement of milk protein online.

The spring up of cloud computing gives product manufacturing a new solution and chance to realize resource sharing and cooperative work between enterprises for global manufacturing. A collaborative manufacturing resource sharing platform is built based on cloud services, which implements to effectively describe information, resources and knowledge during manufacturing process by abundant semantics. The cloud services are the combination of cloud computing and ontology technique. Cloud computing utilizes virtualization technology to encapsulate collaborative manufacturing resources as services to shield the distribution of collaborative manufacturing. The cloud service integration model is built based on ontology technique. The cloud service integration model implements the uniform representation of heterogeneous information and helps to shield the heterogeneity of manufacturing resources systematically. Finally, a case study of the whole design of a decelerator is presented to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the approach. © 2012 Asian Network for Scientific Information.

In order to resolve the detection problem of coal mine gas content detection, and ensure the personal safety under the ground, we design the gas content detection system which based on the technology of ZigBee. The system includes two functional models, which are ZigBee and gas sensor. We can control the system functional model by computer net, which can realize the radio transmit by use of ZigBee technology. It can real-time work, and the precise high, transmit far away. The system hardware is simple, operate easily, cost cheap, which can be used in coal mine and safety detection. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2012.

Time frequency analysis for action conversion characteristics of surface electromyography signals

The electromyography (EMG) pattern recognition and classification of intentional movements for control of multifunctional prostheses have adopted steady state data. Actually, most of human body's movements are continuous, so the action conversion points are determined for continuous movements of human hand in this study. Ten healthy adults (5 men and 5 women;25±3 year) participated in the EMG signals measurement experiments. Surface EMG signals were obtained from flexors carpi of forearm. Four singles and two continuous actions are designed in this experiment. The short-time energy time frequency analysis is employed to determine action conversion points. In the experiment, subjects do not need to train. The result suggests that the short-time energy time frequency analysis is suitable for determination of continuous action conversion points. This method is promising and simple, and it is expected to be employed in identification of continuous hand actions. © 2012 ICIC International.

This paper adopts the internationally acknowledged evaluation principles and profoundly builds up the comprehensive evaluation index system and objective function as for the problems of one-sidedness and subjectivity existing in the current product evaluation system, and calculates objective weight of each index. It has brought forth the comprehensive evaluation method to compare product level according to membership values, establishment of objective function, and studies the entropy weight computation model of diverse indexes in addition to the comprehensive evaluation approach of diverse weighting. Verifies through example, this approach helps solve the common problems in product evaluation at the current level and furnishes the clients with theoretical reference for product selection. © 2011 IEEE.

LOG filter for image edge detection consists of Gaussian filter and Laplace operator. Based on the central limit theorem and the separating characteristic of two dimensional Gaussian filter, Gaussian approximation filter is constructed. The digital filtering algorithm for Gaussian approximation filter is concluded through the bilinear transformation method and zero phase shift filtering technology. The algorithm combined with the Laplace operator has been successfully applied in the implementation of LOG filtering for edge detection. Applying Gaussian approximation filter in LOG filtering is helpful for multi-scale LOG filtering because only one parameter in the algorithm needs to be changed. This method is more convenient than the template method in which the coefficients of the whole mask of LOG filter with different scale need to be refreshed. This is a new implementation for LOG filter. © 2011 IEEE.

Gaussian filter acts as the filter for roundness signal processing and a new implementation approach for Gaussian filter is presented. Based on the theory of B-spline function, the variational principle with the tension condition and the convolution characteristic of Gaussian filter with small scale, the approximation filter of Gaussian filter is concluded, which has the amplitude characteristic deviation from Gaussian filter less than 1% and the zero-phase-shift characteristic. The algorithm for the approximation filter consists of the zero-phase-shift filtering and the weighing filtering which loop two times. The algorithm is both simply in its structure and high in its filtering efficiency. The method of cycle continuation solves the edge effects of digital filtering based on the periodicity of the roundness measurement signal. The approximation filter is also efficient and accurate for the implementation of Gaussian filter in the application of roundness measurement. © 2011 IEEE.
