AIoT for Aircraft Final Assembly:An Intelligent and Collaborative Framework

Aircraft final assembly line(AFAL)involves thousands of processes that must be completed before ***,the heavy reliance on manual labor in most assembly processes affects the quality and prolongs the delivery *** the advent of artificial intelligence of things(AIoT)technologies has introduced advancements in certain AFAL scenarios,systematically enhancing the intelligence level of the AFAL and promoting the widespread deployment of artificial intelligence(AI)technologies remain significant *** address these challenges,we propose the intelligent and collaborative aircraft assembly(ICAA)framework,which integrates AI technologies within a cloud-edge-terminal *** ICAA framework is designed to support AI-enabled applications in the AFAL,with the goal of improving assembly efficiency at both individual and multiple process *** analyze specific demands across various assembly scenarios and introduce corresponding AI technologies to meet these *** three-tier ICAA framework consists of the assembly field,edge data platform,and assembly cloud platform,facilitating the collection of heterogeneous terminal data and the deployment of AI *** framework enhances assembly efficiency by reducing reliance on manual labor for individual processes and fostering collaboration across multiple *** provide detailed descriptions of how AI functions at each level of the ***,we apply the ICAA framework to a real AFAL,focusing explicitly on the flight control system testing *** practical implementation demonstrates the effectiveness of the framework in improving assembly efficiency and promoting the adoption of AIoT technologies.

Optimal Approach to Photovoltaic Electricity Injection in an Unstable Grid: Case Study

The injection of photovoltaic electricity into the distribution grid has harmful impacts on the electrical grid which limits this injection and causes the malfunction of the electrical grid. This is why it is necessary to seek the optimal power of photovoltaic electricity to be injected into the interconnected grid already unstable. The site considered for this study is the 33 MW photovoltaic power plant of Zagtouli which must inject its electricity production into the national interconnected grid of Burkina Faso, from the Zagtouli substation located in Ouagadougou. In the NEPLAN software, the scenario adopted consisted in varying the power of the photovoltaic electricity injected at the injection point of the Zagtouli substation until an overload of one or more elements of the network was observed. The simulation results showed that the maximum power of photovoltaic electricity that can be injected at the Zagtouli substation is 20 MW and those, without regulating the voltage of the unstable network. For photovoltaic powers between 20 MW and 70 MW, voltage and active power regulation are necessary. The results of this study can be used to optimize the injection of electricity from photovoltaic power plants into the interconnected national electricity grids of West African countries, which are experiencing the same instability problems as the national interconnected network of Burkina Faso. © (2024), (International Hellenic University School of Science and Technology). Low-Carbon Dispatching for Virtual Power Plant with Aggregated Distributed Energy Storage Considering Spatiotemporal Distribution of Cleanness Value

The field of topological photonics was initiated with the realization of a Chern insulator phase in a gyromagnetic photonic crystal(Ph C) with broken time-reversal symmetry(T), hosting chiral edge states that are topologically protected propagating modes. Along a separate line of research, a quadrupole topological insulator was the first higher-order topological phase supporting localized corner states, but has been so far limited to T-invariant systems, as T is a key ingredient in early models. Here we report the realization of a quadrupole topological insulator phase in a gyromagnetic Ph C, as a consequence of topological phase transition from the previously demonstrated Chern insulator phase. The phase transition has been demonstrated with microwave measurements, which characterize the evolution from propagating chiral edge states to localized corner states. We also demonstrate the migration of topological boundary states into the continuum, when the gyromagnetic Ph C is magnetically tuned. These results extend the quadrupole topological insulator phase into T-broken systems, and integrate topologically protected propagating and localized modes in a magnetically tunable photonic crystal platform.

A Joint Estimation Method of SOC and SOH for Lithium-ion Battery Considering Cyber-Attacks Based on GA-BP

To improve the estimation accuracy of state of charge(SOC)and state of health(SOH)for lithium-ion batteries,in this paper,a joint estimation method of SOC and SOH at charging cut-off voltage based on genetic algorithm(GA)combined with back propagation(BP)neural network is proposed,the research addresses the issue of data manipulation resulting ***,anomalous data stemming fromcyber-attacks are identified and eliminated using the isolated forest algorithm,followed by data ***,the incremental capacity(IC)curve is derived fromthe restored data using theKalman filtering algorithm,with the peak of the ICcurve(ICP)and its corresponding voltage serving as the health factor(HF).Thirdly,the GA-BP neural network is applied to map the relationship between HF,constant current charging time,and SOH,facilitating the estimation of SOH based on ***,SOC estimation at the charging cut-off voltage is calculated by inputting the SOH estimation value into the trained model to determine the constant current charging time,and by updating the maximum available *** show that the root mean squared error of the joint estimation results does not exceed 1%,which proves that the proposed method can estimate the SOC and SOH accurately and stably even in the presence of false data injection attacks.

Detection of Perfect Stealthy Attacks on Cyber-Physical Systems Subject to measurement Quantizations: A Watermark-Based Strategy

In this paper, the attack detection problem is investigated for a class of closed-loop systems subjected to unknownbutbounded noises in the presence of stealthy attacks. The measurement outputs from the sensors are quantized before transmission.A specific type of perfect stealthy attack, which meets certain rather stringent conditions, is taken into account. Such attacks could be injected by adversaries into both the sensor-toestimator and controller-to-actuator channels, with the aim of disrupting the normal data flow. For the purpose of defending against these perfect stealthy attacks, a novel scheme based on watermarks is developed. This scheme includes the injection of watermarks(applied to data prior to quantization) and the recovery of data(implemented before the data reaches the estimator).The watermark-based scheme is designed to be both timevarying and hidden from adversaries through incorporating a time-varying and bounded watermark signal. Subsequently, a watermark-based attack detection strategy is proposed which thoroughly considers the characteristics of perfect stealthy attacks,thereby ensuring that an alarm is activated upon the occurrence of such attacks. An example is provided to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed mechanism for detecting attacks.
