There are some defects when dealing some types of complex accident scenes which using LOPA as the strict definition of independent protection layer limits its application scope. The purpose of this paper is aimed at the accident scenarios where multi-initiating event trigger a single accident consequence, putting forward strategy of selecting the aggregation method and the maximum screening method, so that the effectiveness of LOPA applying in such accident scenarios can be expanded. Meanwhile, for the condition that the passive protective layer is not completely effective in the accident scenarios, consequence reduction coefficient is introduced in and correctional program based on accident consequence is presented. All these work is to make the accident frequency calculation results closer to its actual value and finally enhance the accuracy of LOPA analysis.

When the northeast of China steps into winter, the existence of the permafrost makes the traditional ground detection impossible to be accomplished and the soil resistivity jump which lead to the result that the detection cannot be conducted in time or the data of ground resistance test deviates excessively from its actual value in thunderstorm season. As a result, accidents occur frequently. In this paper, through the analysis of the factors which influence the soil resistivity, experimental model of testing resistivity is set, estimate formula of permafrost is given so that the permafrost resistivity can be calculated accurately and thus provide a basis for the design of grounding device in lightning protection project, all these works having positive impact on lightning safety protection and detection.

The model for the leakage and diffusion of liquid ammonia tank established using the species transport and reaction module of Fluent in order to investigate the leakage of liquid ammonia due to storage tank failure. The corresponding influencing laws were obtained by changing the height of leakage source and the size of leakage aperture in the simulation. The potential hazard of liquid ammonia reserved at temperature and high pressure or low temperature and low pressure condition was obtained by comparison of simulation results. The results show that the high concentration of gas diffusion on the leeward side will increase with decreasing height of leakage source, the leakage rate of Ammonia tank and the concentration of gas diffusion on the same location increase as the size of leakage aperture increase, the distance and hazards of gas diffusion during the same time will increase with increasing when using storage mode of normal temperature and high pressure under the same leakage condition.

The following paper researches into application of digital technology for explosives performance test, especially ballistic mortar test. The proposed approach provides a direct measurement of maximum throw angle of pendulum in ballistic mortar test. The measurement equipment for ballistic mortar (MEBM) is designed, produced, and applied in the defense industries in Vietnam. MEBM is developed and produced based on angle encoder, CPU S7 200, TD 200. With the new proposed approach, the measurement process, signal transfer, digital signal processing, data computing, and display are fully automatic. It overcomes the disadvantages of old approach, such as indirect measurement of throw angle, where measurement error depending on marker record, rule, and subjectivity of measurer. The testing and triggering detonator is integrated in MEBM. © 2014 IEEE.

Single loop regulator is a process control level instrument in single loop distributed control system. The traditional single loop regulators based on the data bus and wire network exist limitations such as wiring and environment and so on. Aiming at these problems, this paper improved the traditional single loop regulator by combining wireless communication technology with information processing technology, and then designed a single loop regulator system based on wireless network. The system adopted PID adjustment. Practical tests proved that the regulator system could be used in practical applications. © 2013 IEEE.

In this paper, the method of designing a programmable filter using FPGA was suggested. Due to its high efficiency and performance, FPGA chip was used control MF10 chip. The results showed high accuracies in filtering. The amplification of input signals, the filtering types and the -3dB frequency of filter were adjusted and controlled by the keys. The project accomplished the objective to improve the abilities of college students to analyze and solve problems independently.

Spread spectrum communication technology, compared with the conventional communication technology, has many characteristics, such as a low interception rate, strong anti-noise performance, noise immunity, information hiding and multiple access communication. Widely used in military communication and civil communication at present, it is the core technology in the third generation mobile communication standards and has become one of the three high-tech communication transmission modes to enter the information age. The communication system of direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) is most common in the spread spectrum communication technology, and this type of system was studied in this research. FPGA is one of hot research topics on hardware design. It has been widely used in the algorithm implementation and product prototype verification due to its rich logical unit, high integration, flexible configuration and many other advantages. Design and implementation on digital communication system with a more complex function have become reality on the hardware platform of FPGA with the considerable development of modern microelectronics especially in recent years. The research studied the various parts of key technologies, introduced the various algorithms of the most critical synchronization technologies (including pseudo-code acquisition, pseudo-code tracking, and carrier synchronization) in system in detail and gave their simulation results by establishing a complete simulation system for Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum. © 2013 IFSA Publishing. The rapid development of the petrochemical industry and the increasing demand of energy require the loading process of liquid fuel more efficient, automatic and environmental friendly. The quantitative loading system includes computer control, instrument automation, network technology, and communication technique. The aim of crane tube loading system is to achieve automatic quantification of the monitor and control. ARM9-based automatic loading system is introduced in this paper, which can meet the requirement of large flow rapidly quantitative loading using quantitative loading control device. The device can improve the efficiency of oil production and economic benefits, reduce the labor intensity and has great significance in the aspect of market competitiveness. © 2013 IEEE.

The fingerprint ridge structure can be directly generated from its following features: the position of minutiae, the orientation field and the ridge frequency map. It was once believed that minutiae template does not reveal sufficient information of the orientation field and ridge frequency map to allow the reconstruction of the original fingerprint image. This belief has now been shown to be false; several algorithms have been proposed to generate the fingerprint ridge structure with uniform ridge frequency by reconstructing the orientation field from minutiae template. However, these reconstruction techniques assume equal ridge frequency in the whole foreground, which results in generating spurious minutiae along the changes of ridge curvature. In this paper, a novel algorithm for reconstructing the ridge frequency map from the minutiae template is proposed to complete the last piece of features required for the reconstruction of fingerprints. The change of local ridge frequency can be perfectly modeled by the minutiae and the divergence of the vectorial orientation field. The reconstructed ridge frequency map has been evaluated to be highly correlated to the ridge frequency map estimated from the original fingerprint images.

On the basis of the flow feature in the micro blood vessels, a method to track the trace of cell movement was proposed in this paper. The algorithm employed the space domain enhancement, adaptive threshold segmentation techniques. For the sake of calculating blood flow, the active contour-based template matching method was applied to sequential images. The experimental results show that this method can accurately track movement of tiny particles and estimate its moving speed in the micro-blood vessels.
