Planck's constant experiment has been carried out to determine the value of Planck's constant using the regression analysis method. The steps are carried out using the scientific process outlined in the practical work steps. The specification of the experimental equipment uses the Planck constant experimental set with 12v/35w tungsten halogen light, 15v output, +-0.2% accuracy, 220V power requirement, 0.5A fuse rating and red, yellow 1, yellow 2, and red color filters, green and blue. Experiments using the concept of the photoelectric effect phenomenon began by irradiating metallic materials with light using a filter. The wavelength (635, 570, 540, 500, 460) nm is the light filter variation. The wavelength that hits the metal material is selected by placing a light filter on the light propagation path toward the metal material. So the light that passes through the filter is only light with a certain wavelength. After the metal material is irradiated by light with a certain wavelength, then the stopping potential voltage measurement is carried out on the metal material irradiated by light. From the variation of the light filter used, it is possible to calculate Planck's constant using the regression method with the value obtained 6.26x1034. This value is very close to the actual Planck's constant value which is 6.62x1034 so an error value is obtained 4.23%. With 95.77% accuracy, Planck's constant value obtained from the calculation using the linear regression method can be said to be very close to the actual Planck's constant value. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

High-Fidelity Numerical Simulations of a Standing-Wave Thermoacoustic Engine

Thermoacoustic devices, in which heat fluxes and pressure waves are converted from one to the other, are a promising class of energy conversion, particularly as heat-driven heat pumps. However, accurate simulation and performance prediction of these devices is a major challenge on the path to better understanding and improved ***, 2D simulations of a high-amplitude standing wave thermoacoustic engine are reported, based on the high-fidelity software PyFR. The performed simulations are validated against both computational and experimental results reported in the literature, exhibiting a deviation of less than 9% between the calculated and experimentally measured pressure amplitude, more than twice as accurate as previously reported calculations. Further, non-linear effects in the thermoacoustic engine are explored and discussed, including Rayleigh streaming, jet streaming and, importantly, higher-order harmonics. The influence of these effects on engine performance is gauged, with higher-order harmonics shown to cause the greatest reduction in engine performance. Harmonics suppression is then demonstrated, via a simple example, to improve performance and, in the present context, greatly reduce the deviation between the linear and non-linear *** work demonstrates the utility of high-order CFD schemes for the analysis of thermoacoustics devices, providing useful insight on the importance of non-linear effects and highlighting the potential benefits of future work along similar lines © 2023, The Authors. Along with technological improvements, online shopping is currently developing quickly. Online shops started by selling electronics, clothing, food, and home appliances and continue to evolve, selling various things. Currently, digital marketing has a novel technique, namely live shopping, where sellers can present, promote and offer their products directly through live streaming on social media and e-commerce platforms. This research will focus on gaining insight into the factors influencing customers to watch and purchase through live streaming. This research is an early-stage study of exploring and searching for research models. The study used a literature review approach by reviewing similar previous research articles. Several variable components were used in this study. The findings of the factors include visibility capacity, meta-vocation capacity, purchase orientation capacity, social presence, price, perceived product quality, perceived enjoyment, purchase orientation, perceived usefulness, and intention to buy. These factors were tested and proved to be valid with Cronbach's Alpha value being more than 0.5 and reliable with the value of the loading factor a greater than 0.6. Criteria The factors of the findings for further analysis of the relationship between factors and other variables. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposes a technique based on a MAT-LAB code capable of getting an optimized preliminary design of an efficient low-speed compressor qualified for laboratory experiments with relatively low cost. The code was made to design five repeated compressor stages on two steps conducted iteratively, namely 'mean line and radial design' to determine the optimum compressor geometry and then the 'off-design' to test the stability of the design in other working conditions. The optimization tool minimizes a flexible cost function which can be changed if needed to get different designs. A certain cost function was chosen, the results of the design corresponding to it lived up to expectations. Some aerodynamic cases were simulated using Ansys to verify the results of the chosen design. © 2021 IEEE.

Heavy metal and microplastic pollutions are prevalent in freshwater ecosystems, with many freshwater bodies being contaminated by one or both of these pollutants. Recent studies reported extreme detections of Cd, Pb and Zn, high concentrations of Cr, Pb and Cu and microplastics acting as vectors of pollutants, including heavy metals. Mayflies can serve as bioindicators of heavy metal contamination in freshwater ecosystems because changes in their community structure, physiology, and behaviour can reflect and help predict the concentrations of metals in these environments. This review discusses the ecological alterations induced by tissue metal concentration in mayflies and other macroinvertebrates. As sensitive taxa to heavy metal contamination, mayflies can reflect the impacts of this pollution through their ethology and relationship to the substrate, highlighting issues such as eutrophication, alterations in community structure, inhibitory effects and sediment toxicity. Mayflies are also highly affected by microplastic exposure, which leads to ingestion, bioaccumulation, biomagnification, habitat and community alteration, behavioural changes, physiology alteration and toxicity. Mayflies bioindication metrics for assessing the impact of heavy metals and microplastics include the examination of community alteration, functional feeding behaviour, molecular structure, dietary and toxicity impacts, bioaccumulation and biomagnification and biomarkers. Current challenges for the utilization of mayflies as bioindicators include temporal variations in sensitivity, lack of universally recognised protocols and need for standardised protocols for microplastic analysis. Additionally, the applicability of mayflies as bioindicators may vary across different ecosystems, emphasising the need for selecting suitable indicators that align with the unique characteristics of the ecosystem. © 2024 The Authors

Solar tracking systems which can track the Sun movement can increase the power generation rate by maximizing the surface area of the solar panels that are exposed to the sunlight. By utilizing a solar tracker, the number of solar panels needed to generate the same amount of electrical energy will be significantly lower. In general, solar tracking systems are classified as single-axis solar tracking systems and dual-axis solar tracking systems. Several researchers had conducted both simulation and experimental work to compare and evaluate the performance of solar tracking systems against static solar panels systems, as well as between different solar tracking system mechanisms. General agreements among the researchers are that the performance of solar tracking systems is always exceeding that of static solar panels. Some researchers also conducted studies on how the weather conditions affect the performance of solar panels, and they concluded that the systems with tracking mechanisms are more resilient toward a variation of weather conditions. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. Original reactive powder concrete (RPC) consists of a large amount of cement, fine sand, crushed quartz, and silica fume, with a very dense matrix achieved by optimizing the granular packaging of the materials. This study, therefore, applied the modified Andreasen & Andersen particle-packing model using Aceh quartzite powder to design a densely compacted matrix and low cement content RPC mixtures. The research involved the preparation of two series of the mixture with different percentages of silica fume and Aceh quartzite powder and the 70.7 mm cube specimens were treated with combined steam curing and normal curing after which their compressive strength was tested at the age of 7 days and 28 days. The result showed the use of 61% local quartzite powder by weight of cement through an optimized mix design and cured treatment improves the RPC strength at any variation of silica fume. © 2021 Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland.

This study evaluates bacterial cellulose (BC) membranes reinforced with zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NP) derived from pineapple biowaste. While BC membranes are widely studied, their use in aquaculture and ZnO reinforcement remains underexplored. Membranes were synthesized with 0.25–1.0 wt% ZnO-NP and characterized by SEM, XRD, FTIR, tensile strength, antibacterial activity, filtration efficacy, and analysis using one-way ANOVA. Results showed ZnO-NP enhanced membrane crystallinity and tensile strength, with 0.25 wt% being optimal. The membranes exhibited improved antibacterial activity, reducing bacterial content by 90.6 % and contaminants by 57 %, enhancing water quality for aquaculture and supporting sustainability and the long-term viability of aquaculture. © 2025

Biomass is one of the promising sources to produce green H2, which can be considered an energy storage medium. To produce high-purity H2 from biomass-derived syngas, this study implemented a two-stage H2 purification process. In the first stage, a water gas shift reaction (WGSR) was performed to enhance the H2 concentration in the syngas. The Taguchi method was employed to analyze the influence of the operating conditions and maximize the H2 concentration in the water gas shift reaction product. The results suggested that reaction temperature is a more dominant factor for enhancing the H2 concentration than the molar steam/carbon monoxide (S/CO) ratio. In the second stage, vacuum pressure swing adsorption was employed to obtain the high-concentration H2 using the product from the water gas shift reaction having the optimum H2 concentration. Using the adsorption pressure as the primary parameter, it was found that high H2 purity and recovery could be obtained from vacuum pressure swing adsorption operated at low adsorption pressures. Based on this study's results, the vacuum pressure swing adsorption unit's best outcome occurs during an adsorption pressure of 2 kg·cm−2 and a flow rate of 17 L·min−1. Under these conditions, 93.61% H2 purity, 31.63% H2 recovery, 4.86 mol H2·(kgads·h)−1 productivity, and 448.14 kJ·(kg H2)−1 energy consumption are obtained. © 2024 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.

The purpose of this research is to optimize the integration of digital marketing through the role of the millennial generation as an effort for MSMEs to survive during the COVID-19 pandemic. To survive during this COVID-19 pandemic, the role of the millennial generation needs to be maximized by adopting a digital mindset because the presence of technology is very closely related to the millennial generation. all activities and mindsets that arise from the current millennial generation are closely related to technology to carry out management functions in MSMEs. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research because this research aims to make a systematic, factual, and accurate picture or painting of the facts, characteristics and relationships between phenomena regarding the development of the Creative Industry in the Handicraft Sector in Bengkulu City. To optimize the integration of digital marketing as an effort to survive the MSMEs during the Covid 19 Pandemic, MSME actors need to optimize the millennial generation by: Adopting a digital mindset (digital mindset), Using new models, Formulating new strategies, Implementing effective strategies, Generating sustainability. © 2021 IEEE.
