In this work a solution for managing waste in real time application has been done. Integrating Arduino Uno, ultrasonic sensors, GSM modules, and PIR motion sensors offers a cost-effective yet efficient method for waste management. Adding a lithium battery and a solar panel for alternative power sources is a smart move, ensuring continuous operation and reducing reliance on conventional electricity. The automatic lid opening feature based on the detection of human presence adds convenience and enhances the user experience. It's great to hear that the system's performance met expectations during testing, indicating its reliability and functionality for real-world applications. Overall, this design seems to address the requirements of small-scale waste management effectively while keeping costs reasonable. © 2024 IEEE.

This article studies the H∞ control problems of uncertain stochastic singular Markov jump systems with time-varying delays. By constructing a new Lyapunov functional, using the free weight matrix scheme and linear matrix inequalities technique, the conditions of stochastic admissibility in the mean-square sense for uncertain stochastic singular Markov jump systems with time-varying delays are obtained. The H∞ controller is designed based on dynamic event-triggered mechanism so that the corresponding closed-loop systems stochastically admissible in the mean-square sense and satisfies the given H∞ performance index γ. In the end, the usefulness of the intended scheme is described by a numerical example. © 2023 IEEE.

Orbital angular momentum(OAM),with its unique physical properties and vast application prospects,has attracted widespread attention in various ***,the development of valid and practical acoustic OAM detection methods continues to be a challenging *** this paper,we propose a novel construction method of dual-layer metasurfaces to achieve a doubleconversion process for the waveform reshaping and differentiated focusing of two-dimensional vortex sources with different ***,by utilizing a concise formula,a one-to-one correspondence is established between the OAM of incident vortex waves and different imaging *** fundamental principle of this special conversion relationship is rigorously constrained by the directional compensation of phase and the material parameters of dual-layer metasurfaces with different quadratic phase *** importantly,the highly consistent results between numerical demonstrations and acoustic experiments further confirm the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed OAM detection *** work provides a new perspective on the precise manipulation for the phase of vortex fields,holding potential applications in super-resolution imaging and the design of acoustic OAM-based devices.

This paper presents the Space Vector Modulation (SVM) strategy for a three-phase 7-level multiplexed converter (3φ7L MLMXC) in high-power AC applications. The proposed converter consists of two Flying Capacitor (FC) converters directly connected to the three-level Neutral Point Clamped (NPC) converter. The proposed SVM is described and allows fixing the problem of the converter's forbidden states. The SVM is realized in xy coordinates to minimize the computational burden. The algorithm has been implemented into a field-programmable gate array (FPGA). The modulation strategy has been tested at first in Simulink/Matlab environments and then on the multilevel converter prototype. © 2024 IEEE.

The paper highlights a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) implementation for environmental monitoring, emphasizing cost-effectiveness and adaptability. APIs designed to handle values instead of voltage levels increase system resilience, while open standards promote security, cost efficiency, and auditability. The data shows a diurnal temperature range from 20°C (night) to 38°C (day), stable humidity at 38%, and UV radiation peaking at 6 (day) and dropping to 1.5 (night). Smoke levels are consistently high at 490 μg/m3, while toxic gas concentrations slightly rise to 0.5 ppm during the day from 0.45 ppm at night. Fire metrics remain low and stable. These findings highlight the need for UV protection, air quality controls, and consistent fire safety measures. The system achieves effective environmental monitoring while remaining adaptable for future needs, underscoring its value in scalable, cost-efficient, and sustainable public management solutions. © 2025 IEEE.

Noise is defined as sound that is considered unpleasant, loud, or disruptive to hearing. Similar to air pollution, noise pollution is a significant issue in urban areas that demands attention. Noise pollution occurs when the noise level surpasses a specific threshold and negatively impacts human health and well-being. In the field of urban planning, it becomes crucial to utilize methods and tools that can aid designers in developing, planning, and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate and control traffic noise. Consequently, it is essential to predict traffic noise levels in order to prevent excessive noise and explore potential alternative suggestions for existing road infrastructure. The objective of this study is to develop a predictive model for traffic noise level using linear regression analysis in the field of machine learning. A suitable model has been formulated using linear regression to accurately predict the traffic noise level. Medium-voltage (MV) silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs play a pivotal role in various industrial applications, including electrical vehicles, DC fast charging stations, and renewable energy conversion systems, among others. Compared to their silicon counterparts, the MV SiC MOSFETs feature higher efficiency, faster switching speeds, lower heat generation, and higher power density. Despite their advantages, SiC MOSFETs also lead to higher cooling demands. To address this challenge, we have developed a two-phase immersion cooler, in which the base plate is immersed in the liquid pool, and vapor generated from coolant boiling on the base plate is condensed on the top surface of the immersion cooler under external air cooling. To further improve the cooling capacity, the base plates are textured with microchannels. Experimental tests have been performed to characterize the thermal performance of the two-phase immersion cooler with a state-of-the-art 6.5kV SiC device. The immersion cooler with microchannels exhibits decreasing thermal resistance with the power load and is shown to be superior to conventional air-cooled heat sinks when the power loads are beyond 70 W. Leveraging the feature of reduced thermal resistance with the power load, the fan power can be tuned based on the power load to increase the lifetime of the fans. © 2024 IEEE.

A new era of connectedness, convenience, and efficiency has arrived with the introduction of the Internet of Things (IoT), which has revolutionized the way we engage with the world around us. Data privacy in IoT cloud settings is an urgent problem, yet this shift is inevitable. The goal of this research is to improve data privacy by using trust management systems, and a technique to do so has been presented. Our method includes building a trust model to quantify the reliability of IoT devices and cloud service providers, and a privacy model to evaluate the potential dangers of data sharing. To find a happy medium between data value and data privacy, these trust and privacy evaluations lead to the idea of privacy-preserving data sharing. Our findings show that our method is useful, providing information on reliability, privacy risk, and the opportunity for businesses to make educated choices about data sharing. Our approach has far-reaching ramifications for many groups of people, including the IoT sector, businesses, regulators, and the general public. With the goal of improving and extending data privacy solutions in the ever-changing IoT world, future research paths include personalization, real-time adaption, scalability, user-centric controls, and ethical concerns. © 2024 IEEE.

Inverse design, where we seek to design input variables in order to optimize an underlying objective function, is an important problem that arises across fields such as mechanical engineering to aerospace engineering. Inverse design is typically formulated as an optimization problem, with recent works leveraging optimization across learned dynamics models. However, as models are optimized they tend to fall into adversarial modes, preventing effective sampling. We illustrate that by instead optimizing over the learned energy function captured by the diffusion model, we can avoid such adversarial examples and significantly improve design performance. We further illustrate how such a design system is compositional, enabling us to combine multiple different diffusion models representing subcomponents of our desired system to design systems with every specified component. In an N-body interaction task and a challenging 2D multi-airfoil design task, we demonstrate that by composing the learned diffusion model at test time, our method allows us to design initial states and boundary shapes that are more complex than those in the training data. Our method generalizes to more objects for N-body dataset and discovers formation flying to minimize drag in the multi-airfoil design task. An economic and technological analysis of hybrid photovoltaic/wind turbine/battery renewable energy system with the highest self-sustainability

This research established the technoeconomic feasibility of an on-grid hybrid renewable energy system for delivering electricity to the deanery building of the engineering College at the University of Diyala, Iraq. The most cost-effective system design was discovered by modeling and optimization, with an average daily load of 25.0 kWh and total cost and energy cost of & amp;dollar;5142 and & amp;dollar;0.05/kWh, respectively. In relation to the energy generated by conventional resources, the designed system is more cost-effective and has a lower carbon footprint of about 13,052 kg/year of CO2emissions avoided. According to the research, using a hybrid power system to electrify and decarbonize the electrical energy supply could be a reliable and economical way to do both at the same time. Innovation is in integrating the suggested hybrid system so that the use of electricity can effectively be decreased to meet the load.
