We propose an integrated design for the combined estimation of state-modified cell core temperature, temperature-corrected state of charge (SOC), and state of energy (SOE) of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). First, a control-oriented integrated electrothermal coupled model is constructed. The observability of the proposed MIMO system is rigorously investigated, and an adaptive PI observer is formulated for the combined estimation task. Based on the proposed model, the electrical parameters are identified using improved experimental techniques, while the thermal model parameters are estimated online. Finally, the practicability of the proposed technique is verified using a test bench. The experimental results show the RMSE<0.5% for SOC and SOE estimation, and the RMSE<0.25°C for core temperature estimation. Moreover, the comparative results demonstrate high robustness against incorrect initial values, high-current dynamic loadfiles, and critical operating temperatures, which highlights the underscores of the proposed framework in improving the safety of LIBs in practical applications.

Recent years have witnessed a burgeoning interest in sustainable, eco-friendly, and cost-effective construction materials for civil engineering projects. Soilcrete, an innovative blend of soil and cement, has gained significant acclaim for its versatility and effectiveness. It serves not only as grout for soil stabilization in corrosive environments like landfills and coastal regions but also as a reliable material for constructing structural elements. Understanding the mechanical properties of soilcrete is crucial, yet traditional laboratory tests are prohibitively expensive, time-consuming, and often imprecise. Machine learning (ML) algorithms present a superior alternative, offering efficiency and accuracy. This research focuses on the application of the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) algorithm to predict the uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) of soilcrete. A total of 300 soilcrete specimens, crafted from two types of soil (clay and limestone) and enhanced with metakaolin as a pozzolanic additive, were meticulously prepared and tested. The dataset was divided, with 80% used for training and 20% for testing the model. Eight parameters were identified as key determinants of soilcrete’s UCS: soil type, metakaolin content, superplasticizer content, shrinkage, water-to-binder ratio, binder type, ultrasonic velocity, and density. The analysis demonstrated that the ANFIS algorithm could predict the UCS of soilcrete with remarkable accuracy. By combining laboratory results with ANFIS model predictions, the study identified the optimal conditions for maximizing soilcrete's UCS: 11% metakaolin content, a 0.45 water-to-binder ratio, and 1% superplasticizer content. © 2025 Techno-Press, Ltd.

Conformal phased arrays provide multiple degrees of freedom to the scan angle, which is typically limited by antenna aperture in rigid arrays. Silicon-based RF signal processing offers reliable, reconfigurable, multi-functional, and compact control for conformal phased arrays that can be used for on-the-move communication. While the lightweight, compactness, and shape-changing properties of the conformal phased arrays are attractive, these features result in dynamic deformation of the array during motion leading to significant dynamic beam pointing errors. We propose a silicon-based, compact, reconfigurable solution to self-correct these dynamic deformation-induced beam pointing errors. Furthermore, additive printing is leveraged to enhance the flexibility of the conformal phased arrays, as the printed conductive ink is more flexible than bulk copper and can be easily deposited on flexible sheets using different printing tools, providing an environmentally-friendly solution for large-scale production. The inks such as conventional silver inks are expensive and copper-based printable inks suffer from spontaneous metal oxidation that alters trace impedance and degrades beamforming performance. This work uses a low-cost molecular copper decomposition ink with reliable RF properties at different temperature and strain to print the proposed intelligent conformal phased array operating at 2.1 GHz. Proof-of-concept prototype 2×2 array self-corrects the deformation induces beampointing error with an error ◦. Improve the secure key rate and the limited communication distance is the main goal in the field of quantum key distribution. Measurement-device-independent quantum key distribution, not only removes all detector side channel attacks, but also doubles the secure transmission distance. However, most of measurement-device -independent quantum key distribution protocols are non-deterministic. In this paper, we propose a measurement-device-independent deterministic quantum key distribution protocol that doubles the secure distance and amends the non-deterministic factor of current measurement-device -independent quantum key distribution. And with imperfect devices model assumption, we derived the formula of the performances for it and find that the limited distance can be extended over 200km with relatively high secure key rate by employing parameters of current technologies.

The findings of the research that was carried out present a method that is driven by machine learning, which may be utilizedto conduct thermal testing of integrated circuits. To carry out this method, the current temperature distribution is compared to a reference distribution that is suitable for the energy state of the system. This comparison is made to ensure that the procedure is carried out smoothly. In addition, as part of this research endeavor, an investigation is being conducted into a methodology for the positioning of temperature sensors. This placement approach is advised for discovering and resolving issues that are associated with integrated circuits (ICs), and it is recommended that it be used. Our strategy for failure localization makes use of the average temperatures in some sub-areas of the integrated circuit, in addition to the interconnections that stand between those temperatures. This allows us to pinpoint the exact location of the failure. The results of the simulations that were performed for the sensor placement strategy, defect detection, and localization are presented in this research. The findings regarding the efficiency of the testing strategy are displayed through the utilization of statistical approaches to display the findings.

Due to the ready availability of tree leaves in many geographies, the alternative food of leaf concentrate currently has the potential to alleviate hunger in over 800 million people. It is therefore potentially highly impactful to determine the edibility of leaf concentrates, which are in the same regions as the world's most undernourished populations. Unfortunately, the toxicity of leaf concentrate for most common tree leaf types has not been screened and the cost of doing so demands a prioritization. This preliminary study explores this potential solution to world hunger by finding the forest classes most likely to offer proximate access to the world's hungry, thus providing the basis for a prioritized list of leaf types to screen for toxicity. Specifically, this study describes a novel methodology for mapping available green leaf biomass and corresponding forest classes (e.g., tropical moist deciduous forest), and their spatial relationship to the global distribution of people who are underweight. These results will be useful for developing a targeted list of tree species to conduct leaf toxicity analysis on, in the interest of developing leaves as an alternative food source for both current malnutrition problems and global catastrophic scenarios. © 2021 Policy Studies Organization.

Notably in the last ten years, the number of learning organizations throughout the globe has grown at an unmatched pace. Teaching has now reached homesteads thanks to the growth. As a consequence, worldwide literacy levels have increased significantly in recent decades. As per reports, just 12% of the populace knew comprehend and write in 1820;nevertheless, data currently show a dramatic shift in or reversal of this trend: Figures prove that amongst 1820 and 2016, the high school graduation rate rose by 72%. If the pace of growth is considered, it is around 4% per five years, rising from 42percentage points in 1970 to 86% in 2015. Proper training has benefited in the development of intelligent people who can easily embrace and establish regulations for a civilized country, improving it and making an important contribution. However, the majority of recently built academic system, particularly dormitory amenities, still manage their possessions and property using outdated traditional methods. After the dotcom boom, digital services and products have advanced significantly. The cost of using the net is also decreasing, and its growth has been facilitated by faster internet. It is simple to assert that contemporary civilization now includes this digital age. The need for a growing percentage of world wide web gadgets has grown due to this change in social cognition from citizenry to bloggers. The popularity of smart homes or other Cellular solutions is rising. Nowadays, using the Internet as a resource to address problems is common. We've been staying in hostels nearly five years, we've discovered a number of major issues that impact every person with the help of the survey and our own findings.
