PLN is the only state-owned electricity company that provides and regulates electricity to the public. However, in the provision of electricity to every community, there are many frauds or irregularities in utilization of electricity by irresponsible parties was found by PLN. Electricity deviation caused by irresponsible parties, like the theft of electricity can have a tremendous impact due to loss of electrical energy. Electricity Deviation, using Electricity Deviation data for 3 years, from 2012 to 2014. Sales data processed by the network, in the form of amount of Kwh deviation per month. The data needed in the process of analysis of this Neural Network is pure database results by taking the input variable in the form of Amount of Kwh Deviation and Amount of Kwh Deviation for the next Month for the following year as output. Electricity for 3 years is processed into Matlab using GUI facilities, to produce information on the predicted results of the Kwh Deviation in November 2014 to March, May, June, August, November, December 2015 experiencing has increase in Kwh, while in April July, September, and Okrober 2015 decreased.

Conjugate heat transfer in porous medium is an important study involved in many practical applications. The current study is aimed to investigate the double diffusive flow in a square porous cavity subjected to left vertical surface heating and right vertical surface cooling respectively along with left and right surfaces maintained at high and low concentration. The three governing equations are converted into algebraic form of equations by applying finite element method and solved in iterative manner. The study is focused to investigate the effect of presence of solid inside the cavity with respect to varying buoyancy ratio. It is found that the local heat and mass transfer rate decreases along the height of cavity.

The present work is undertaken to investigate the effect of solid wall being placed at left of square cavity filled with porous medium. The presence of a solid wall in the porous medium turns the situation into a conjugate heat transfer problem. The boundary conditions are such that the left vertical surface is maintained at highest temperature and concentration whereas right vertical surface at lowest temperature and concentration in the medium. The top and bottom surfaces are adiabatic. The additional conduction equation along with the regular momentum and energy equations of porous medium are solved in an iterative manner with the help of finite element method. It is seen that the heat and mass transfer rate is lesser due to smaller thermal and concentration gradients.

The placement of a small solid wall towards cold surface of square porous cavity affects the heat transfer behavior of porous region due to restriction of fluid motion in the region occupied by solid wall. An investigation of heat transfer is carried out to understand the fluid flow and heat transfer behavior in porous cavity by solving the governing partial differential equations. Galerkin’s approach is used to convert the partial differential equations into algebraic form of equations by applying finite element method. The heat transfer increases for solid towards right surface as compared to the case of solid at center of cavity.

A tunable fiber ring laser based on L band EDFA(erbium-doped fiber amplifier) was proposed. It has high signal-to-noise ratio and wide tuning range. The influence factor of the tuning range and the time delay of relaxation oscillation were studied. And the FFP-TF(Fabry-Perot tunable filter) was used as a wavelength selector to produce tunable laser. Experiments show that by using appropriate time-delay and auto-adjusting the intra-cavity loss, the signal-to-noise ratio can be increased and the tunable range can be broadened to C+L band.

Industry 4.0 is initiated by the German government as a high level technology strategy in order to keep Germany in a global leading position in manufacturing, also intends to solve energy and aging issues in parallel. Germany has proposed the “Reference Architecture Model Industries 4.0” which is based on the regulations published by the International Electrotechnical Commission. The manifestation of Industry 4.0 can be achieved by the realization of digital factory. And it's emphasized on total integration with Cyber Physical system as its core technology, via Internet of Things to realize the operational environment of human machine interaction, and the utilization of Big Data for decision making. The research motivation of this thesis is to utilize Totally Integrated Automation Portal as a digital factory software development platform, to achieve the fundamental educational requirements of digital factory, and to understand Industry 4.0 concept. Methodology of this research is based on a set of experimental and training mechanism, the sequence of machine movements is controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller, and this PLC has to be complied with IEC61131 International Standard. Regarding communication technology also to be complied with IEC61158 and IEC62541 e.g. PROFINET and OPC UA protocol. And finally realizing the operational environment of human machine interaction via smart phone according to the outcome of this research, it has been shown that total integration concept can be realized by single production machine. By standardization of factory environment and increasing the level of operational environment of human machine interaction, productivity and quality of production could be significantly increased. PLC could be used to analyze intelligent platform and comply with the Industry 4.0 standard at the same time.

The purpose of this study is to create an application that functions automatically with high accuracy when analyzing bank customer data. This needed due to non-performing loans occurring frequently caused by the inaccuracy of credit analysts in the assessment of creditworthiness. This can be seen in the incident occurred in a public bank located in Bandung. This bank does not have the database that serves to accommodate data history and the method used in assessing creditworthiness is merely based on the simple statistical analysis. This leads to reduced accuracy and speed in the decision-making process. This research applies Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC) method, a Data Mining technique. This helps credit analysts to select customers who are truly eligible to be given credit so that non-performing loan can be avoided. NBC calculates the probability of one class from each group of attributes and determines which class is most optimal. The accuracy of the NBC sampling test from 500 data is 95% compared to the decision made by a credit analyst. It can be concluded that this application is very helpful for credit analysts in recommending customers who are eligible for a loan to the bank's decision maker.
