The developing of a balancing robot, especially unicycle robots, is very challenging due to their complexity, highly non-linearity, and unstable dynamics conditions. Maintaining the stability of the unicycle balancing robot on a single contact point with the ground is much more complicated. To get the successful control of the unicycle balancing robot on the point, the choice of correct mechanical system, electrical system and control algorithm are required effectively. This study is dived into each component and combining to interact with harmonious interaction between the parts. To get rid of the uncertainties of the dynamics system, the usage of Sliding Mode Fuzzy Hybrid Controller plays the most crucial role to obtain the advance control capabilities, adaptability, and flexibility. Even with the inaccurate model and disturbances, the Sliding Mode Control (SMC) deals robustness along with the fuzzy logic control, which deals with non-linearities and uncertainties. By combining these two powerful control theories, stability and precision can be succeeded. Creativity is not only to balancing the linear slider unicycle balancing robot (LSUBR) successfully, but also to drive the unicycle robot technology into the new one. The design novelty of this LSUBR can lead to creating new balancing robots, can be fulfill the possibilities of the industries and control sectors. Also, wireless communication is established between MATLAB and LSUBR. The MQ Telemetry Transport (MQTT) is the main communication channel between the MATLAB MQTT client and LSUBR MQTT client through Raspberry PI MQTT server which is based on Mosquitto. The novelty usage of MQTT communication between LSUBR and MATLAB can help the wireless communication sector for the unicycle balancing robot. © 2023 IEEE.

This research paper aims to present an algorithm for camera calibration for an industrial robot using a target pattern from a 2D image utilizing camera vision and MATLAB. The camera sensor will fetch data and send it to the application for image processing. Camera calibration using a planar checkboard grid to get camera parameters for industrial robotics was performed. The study attempts to identify the commands to which the robot articulates its movements. Performing both tasks and integrating them into a system requires the development of a control algorithm that initializes a trajectory of robot's joint angles to place the end to the target point captured in the 2D image. The method of using camera calibration was done to identify the camera's intrinsic parameters. They are applying the parameters to the perspective camera algorithm. The robot model is also presented, converting the CAD model to controllable block diagrams. Joint space trajectory was discussed for movement simulation. © 2022 IEEE.

The advancement of medical technology is essential to patient treatment monitoring and healthcare provider administration including telemedicine therapy, wearable devices and healthcare application. This paper proposed a novel of designed and development of monitoring of a leg splint using Internet of Things (IoT) to control and regulate the temperature of the splint. The system consists of an ESP8266 microcontroller, DHT11 sensors, isolation MOSFETs, silicone heater pads, and a web application. The system can be used to monitor and evaluate the patient's performance during the rehabilitation process and enable them to recover faster. The system architecture incorporates Firebase, ***, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Firebase is used to provide authentication, database, and messaging services to the web application. *** is used to establish communication with the microcontroller using the MQTT protocol. The system was evaluated using black box testing, and the results showed that it can function successfully and meet all conditions. The temperature testing at shin, instep, and sole temperatures were 36.2, 36.5, and 37 C, respectively. Sensors provide real-time temperature control system data to the GUI. A mobile phone using IoT may manage the remote control system's test result to monitor and assess the patient's leg splint's performance to maintain a steady temperature according to requirements. This rehabilitation gadget helps patients improve their range of motion, improve their circulation, and recover faster. The proposed system has the potential to revolutionize the field of rehabilitation medicine by providing a more effective and efficient way to monitor and treat patients. © 2023 IEEE.

The phenomenon of globalisation, coupled with the increasing consumer demand for goods, is compelling manufacturing companies to enhance their operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental sustainability. The advent of Industry 4.0 has presented significant opportunities for the manufacturing industry to use smart manufacturing technologies, hence enabling the transformation of traditional systems into Internet of Things (IoT) enabled systems. This paper outlines the process of creating a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) system that incorporates Internet of Things (IoT) technology for didactic purpose. The system designed and built to incorporate a CNC lathe, sensors for monitoring of performance, an IoT gateway, edge devices, a human-machine interface (HMI), and an IoT platform known as ***. The first step is CNC mechanism design and development. This step is already done and tested, but need some improvements. © 2023 IEEE.

This research is a comparative study and experimental of the four-wheeled tractor. The key objective of this research focuses on the semi-automatic tractor experimentation control drive following Module Nero Ublox 6M and compass module HMC5883. The result focuses on GPS data tracking with different positions in the sample area. It compares manual tracking by people for baseline data and data recording when tractor drives with autonomous control to get the best outcome during the experiment. Therefore the best results after the trial run three times were lower than 3% error after comparing with the baseline. Consequently, the best results after the trial run three times were lower than a 3 percent error after comparing with the baseline. The resulting accuracy is about 93 percent improvements, and parameter adjustment in PID control was improved by Kp, Ki, and Kd adjustment to help result in advance. GPS data results are compared before and after fixing the vibration issue during the tractor drive on the waypoint. The results were improved by about 93 % accuracy, and the tractor drive on the waypoint and total error was reduced to 7 %. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper, a developed and smart protection scheme for the electrical power transmission grid is proposed. Naturally, the electrical power transmission system protection scheme contains two major parts, such as external protection scheme and internal protection scheme. The external scheme consists of basic physical protection systems like open circuit, short circuit, and over voltage protection scheme. In contrast, the internal system includes symmetrical faults and unsymmetrical faults. In this research paper, the external protection system is described. Moreover, the earthquake protection system and temperature protection system are introduced additionally in this development scheme. These additional features provide extra protection in the power transmission grid system against earthquake and fire incidents. The 'Internet of Things' (IoT) is introduced here to digitize the electrical transmission grid technology. With this, the data acquisition will become faster and it will build reliability between the user and supplier. © 2021 IEEE.

Automation is the future of the industrial manufacturing process for the upcoming fourth industrial revolution. This automation implicates intelligent machines, robots, the Internet of Things (IoT), and the Artificial Intelligence (AI). The pick and place robotic manipulator has often utilized robot systems for industry. The application of the fourth industrial revolution is started with pick and place robotic manipulator. This paper addresses the design and implementation of pick place robotic hand manipulator operation for automatic warehouse product management. Mainly the big warehouse management system is quite complex and difficult for manual control and that's why an automatic system is introduced to ease the process. The proposed automated scheme is successfully cover with 5 DOF robotic manipulator and various mathematical calculations is done to run the model. Finally, a prototype has been built to validate the model, and eventually, a GSM-based mobile application is introduced to regulate the operation. This work can not only bring the precession but also provide the guarantee of the warehouse system is free from artificial waste and ensuring perfect warehouse products management system. © 2021 IEEE.

Electric wheelchairs are a prevalent form of assistive technology that improves the mobility of disabilities people. This research proposed the development of an electric scooter for conventional wheelchairs. The electric scooter is designed for sharing purposes, so it is not made to blend with the wheelchair but can be detached. Additionally, this study implemented a steering and velocity control controller to provide remotely controlled via application, further advancing the functionality and accessibility of electric-powered wheelchair devices. Results show that the PID and PI controllers perform well, though the joystick's low resolution causes user discomfort. The Android application provides better control, and all users complete test scenarios successfully. The study could be improved to make the scooter as an intelligent autonomous vehicle.

This paper is presented the automatic steering control of local small tractor. The objective of this paper to study, designed, development and experimental result in term of automatic steering control by using PID control theory. This small tractor type was designed and develops from old engine machine. The purpose of the tractor will be used in rice paddy field. The experimental result was compared the data of encoder during tractor move on the mapping location, all of results was presented between manual and automatic tracking. The overall result was get data collection from rotary encoder model OMRON E6B2-CWZ6C. The steering control system for the tractor was using PID control theory. The experimental result was directed towards on the location mapping via GPS and the data tracking from encoder will convert to GPS data in term of latitude and longitude. The result of manual recording at latitude side was average 14.1344 degree compared with the real data during tractor move was average 14.1342 degree, the average error result was approximately 3 percent. The data at longitude side was average 100.6104 degree to compared with the real data during tractor move was average 100.6012 degree, the average error result was approximately 4 percent. All of the experimental results of the tractor have 97 percent accuracy after improvements the system by using PID control and adjustment the parameter of Kp, Ki and Kd to improve the results of the research. © 2023 IEEE.
