Wireless sensor networks are increasingly used for improving the operation of industrial machines and facilities. Such complex and distributed networks are composed of embedded devices. These devices are typically powered by batteries or energy harvesting, and can thus be classified as energy constrained devices. Especially, the embedded devices powered by energy harvesting rely on sufficient harvestable energy. The correct operation of the whole network may depend on the correct operation of a single device. Thus, relevant energy harvesting scenarios must be ideally covered by functional tests of such networks. To be able to emulate different energy harvesting scenarios in combination with the distributed character of such networks, we have developed a distributed testbed based on the robot operating system (ROS). This paper presents the architecture and describes relevant testing aspects for such devices. Furthermore, it introduces a use case for testing wireless sensor nodes supplied by energy harvesting and presents exemplary testing procedure results. Finally, it discusses the advantages of incorporating such testing procedures into a continuous integration process to verify the correct functionality of the embedded devices during development.

Effective load balancing is critical in contemporary mobile computing environments to ensure optimal resource utilization and adherence to strict deadlines. This study presents a novel framework for deadline-constrained load balancing, termed DCLD-net, which leverages the integration of Graph Convolutional Networks (GCN) and an attention-based Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (BiGRU). The proposed framework utilizes the spatial modeling capabilities of GCNs to capture intricate network topologies, while the temporal dynamics and attention mechanisms of BiGRU enable the identification of critical patterns in traffic flow data. By incorporating key factors such as sticky sessions, load distribution, content-based factors such as videos or file downloads, instance health checks, and other relevant parameters, the DCLD-net model achieves high accuracy in predicting task schedules. These schedules allocate tasks to virtual machines (VMs), enabling dynamic traffic routing through a load balancer that efficiently assigns tasks. Extensive experimental evaluations demonstrate that the proposed attention-based BiGRU-GCN model significantly outperforms traditional methods in both deadline compliance and load balancing efficiency, offering a robust solution to the challenges of modern cloud computing. Experimental results demonstrate that DCLD-net outperforms traditional methods by 27% in deadline compliance and 29.3% in load balancing efficiency. © 1975-2011 IEEE.

In order to better understand the significance of subterranean item detection in a variety of fields, including military operations, construction, archaeology, and utility management, this study looks at recent advancements in this field. Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Electromagnetic Induction (EMI), Magnetic Methods, Seismic Techniques, Acoustic Methods, Thermal Imaging, Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT), and Remote Sensing are just a few of the cutting-edge techniques covered in this overview, along with their principles, uses, advantages, and disadvantages. The importance of these developments is highlighted in terms of improving the efficiency, accuracy, and security of subterranean exploration and administration. The article highlights current research and development initiatives to improve subterranean item identification, provide deeper understanding of subsurface environments, and support well-informed decision-making in a range of businesses. Using a Patch Antenna to detect Iron beneath the earth's surface as an application for detecting Iron inside explosive materials or finding meteorites that have settled underground for several years that contain Iron elements which is essential in Industry. This paper will discuss the developed methods used in underground exploration.

Numerical modelling of a variable rate spraying drone and comparison to experimental evaluations

Safe and organic food supplying with decreased cost are two main perspectives for future agriculture. Considering this concept, spraying drones are one of the prominent cutting-edge technologies. This study focuses on the evaluation of a variable rate sprayer drone configured as an X-type quadcopter. Nozzles controlling by PWM, enables for variable rate spraying in precision agriculture concept. Therefor main objective is evaluating various research parameters through experimental and simulation methodologies. Numerical simulations were conducted using X-Flow software, which employs Lattice Boltzmann Methods (LBM) to effectively model fluid behaviour within a specified computational domain. The experimental evaluation encompassed some tests on nozzle flow rates across different PWM frequencies and duty cycles. Besides, some assessments of spray patterns are performed in both static and dynamic scenarios. The results demonstrated that with a measured nozzle's spray angle about 30 degrees, the spraying system efficiently atomizes liquid into fine droplets, that will enhance drift potential. Field tests performed at altitudes of 1.5 m and 1.8 m illustrated the stability and sensitivity of the spraying system in an open environment. These findings underscore the significance of precise adjustments in operational parameters to optimize spraying efficiency. Future research should explore additional influential factors and conduct field experiments under a range of environmental conditions to validate simulation outcomes and enhance practical applications in agriculture.

Quantum Circuit engineering for Correcting Coherent Noise

Crosstalk and several sources of operational interference are invisible when qubit or a gate is calibrated or benchmarked in isolation. These are unlocked during the execution of full quantum circuit applying entangling gates to several qubits simultaneously. Unwanted Z-Z coupling on superconducting cross-resonance CNOT gates, is a commonly occurring unitary crosstalk noise that severely limits the state fidelity. This work presents (1) method of tracing unitary errors, which exploits their sensitivity to the arrangement of CNOT gates in the circuit and (2) correction scheme that modifies original circuit by inserting carefully chosen compensating gates (single- or two-qubit) to possibly undo unitary errors. On two vastly different types of IBMQ processors offering quantum volume 8 and 32, our experimental results show up to 25% reduction in the infidelity of [[7, 1, 3]] code |+i state. Our experiments aggressively deploy forced commutation of CNOT gates to obtain low noise state-preparation circuits. Encoded state initialized with fewer unitary errors marks an important step towards successful demonstration of fault-tolerant quantum computers. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The advancement in information technology has been on the increase in the recent past with the expansion of text data dissemination in the form of news, medical reports, product reviews, and social media posts among others, the increase in text data has made text mining and classification mandatory. In the last decade a lot of attempts have been undertaken to solve the text classification problems employing machine learning and deep learning approaches both supervised and unsupervised. In this context, our research proposes High-Resolution NLP for Social Healthcare Networks (HiN-TC), a state-of-the-art text classification approach. In our research, data cleaning and normalization are done using Min-Max with Zero-Mean Rescaling Normalization, feature selection is done using Echelon Adaptive Poplar Algorithm, and feature extraction is done using Bi-Consolidation Transformer that captures key patterns in the text. It is supposed to classify the data with good accuracy using Causal Dilated Cosine Architecture and we have optimized it using Precision-Weighted Leadership Navigator for improved performance. This framework is applied to the COVID-19 vaccination Twitter dataset to help get more superior understanding of social healthcare trends. Our methodology demonstrates significant performance improvements, achieving a 98.5% increase in classification accuracy, a 96.3% reduction in text processing time, and a 97.1% boost in scalability. These outcomes suggest the capability of the HiN-TC to deliver a more profound understanding of the social healthcare networks and suggest that the presented framework can be effective for the enhancement of the efficiency and accuracy in the computationally extensive range of the NLP methods and applications for the analysis of the large-scale unstructured text data in healthcare.

The multi-mode low energy consumption system control and reliability evaluation method proposed in this paper has the novelty by implementing multi-mode control and operation status monitoring. Man-machine interaction mode switch, and real-time display of the controlled object, program-controlled power supply, can control the internal power supply of each part of the output state, system power consumption, system reliability, the realization of the system under the multi-mode real-time operating state monitoring. The health status of the low energy consumption system can be divided into five states: healthy state, mildly degraded state, moderately degraded state, severely degraded state, and fault state, which characterized the health status of the system operation. By quantifying the health status of low-power multi-mode systems, a fine-grained health assessment of voltage parameters between 21.50 and 23.00 volts is achieved through collecting the observable state quantity of the low energy consumption system, with wavelet packet transformation, and the HMM prediction model. The multi-mode energy consumption control method and reliability estimation strategy proposed in this paper , which has the simulation results with 22.20~22.50 V as normal status and wider 22.05~22.75 V as fault status,have important application significance for reducing system power consumption, evaluating system health status, timely carrying out health maintenance, and extending system service life.

The work is devoted to the study of the control system of the moving platform of the manipulative robot. The purpose of the work is the development and research of an instrumental complex of control, analysis and modeling of the operation of positioning platforms based on a spherical mechanism for use in automated industrial systems. The state of use of multi-link positioning platforms in various industries was analyzed and their classification was provided, the main areas of use were determined. A comparative analysis of mathematical methods for describing the kinematic properties of positioning platforms was performed, namely: the closed vector contour method, the coordinate transformation method. A model with an analytical apparatus for controlling the drive links of the spherical mechanism according to the given scenarios of the orientation of the positioning platform was developed, as well as a mathematical model of inverse kinematics was made, the working space was modeled, and the service angles were determined, and a calculation and real-life experiment was conducted. For the first time, the work uses the dependencies of analytical geometry to implement algorithms for controlling a spherical mechanism by inverse kinematics, and offers software and hardware that combines visual modeling tools with real-time data transmission to a controller that controls the drivers of a spherical mechanism by direct kinematics. The result of the field experiment is the testing of the proposed control algorithm on the manufactured manipulator mechanism on the most common movements of the platform of the spherical mechanism and its exit to the extreme positions in order to determine the working space and the values of the service angles. A system of remote control of the spherical mechanism at the hardware level with an interactive interface and tracking of the positioning target has been implemented. © 2022 IEEE.

Cylindrical samples of Ni-based GH4037 alloy were compressed at solid temperatures(1200,1250 and 1300℃) and semi-solid temperatures(1340,1350,1360,1370 and 1380℃) with different strain rates of 0.01,0.1 and 1 *** temperature deformation behavior and microstructure evolution of GH4037 alloy were *** results indicated that flow stress decreased rapidly at semi-solid temperatures compared to that at solid ***,the flow stress continued to increase after reaching the initial peak stress at semi-solid temperatures when the strain rate was 1 *** increasing the deformation temperature,the size of initial solid grains and recrystallized grains *** semi-solid temperatures,the grains were equiaxed,and liquid phase existed at the grain boundaries and inside the *** dynamic recrystallization(DDRX) characterized by grain boundary bulging was the main nucleation mechanism for GH4037 alloy.

Impact of Humidity in Triple Cation Perovskite Solar Cells: Interface Analysis

Perovskite (PVSK) is widely used in the absorber layer of solar cells due to its excellent conversion efficiency;however, these devices are highly susceptible to humidity. Furthermore, the mechanism underlying the moisture-induced performance degradation in triple cation PVSK has yet to be elucidated. In the current study, we used the anti-solvent method to prepare triple cation PVSK films in order to study the growth mechanism and influence of moisture on conversion performance. We determined that an appropriate quantity of moisture in PVSK films can improve crystallinity and passivate grain boundaries, thereby facilitating the transport of carriers across grain boundaries to extend the carrier lifespan. Excess moisture entering PVSK thin films leads to degradation of the PVSK absorber layer, resulting in the formation of PbI2, PbBr2, HI, FAI, and MABr, while leaving holes in the surface, which can compromise the stability of the crystals and efficiency of the solar cell. In the current study, the optimal humidity level PVSK thin film solar cells was 19.05%, which resulted in photoelectric characteristics and device efficiency on par with the results obtained under a pure nitrogen environment. © 2022, The Authors.
