This paper proposes a method for analyzing the colonic motility of subjects with constipation based on chaos and wavelet. Using a capsule system with an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), the pressure data of human colon can be monitored accurately. Preprocessing of colonic pressure signal was performed primarily by applying threshold processing and wavelet de-noising. Then, wavelet with six-layer decomposition was implemented based on Daubechies 5 wavelet basis. Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) was used for analyzing the frequency spectrum of detail signals. Particularly, six features include the peak frequency of detail signal at level 3, the peak frequency of detail signal at level 4, the Lyapunov index, correlation dimension, Kolmogorov entropy, and box dimension of were extracted for diagnosis purposes based on HHT spectrum and chaos. Moreover, the features space of 20 subjects was used to build the probabilistic neural network (PNN). As a consequence, the classification accuracy of the other 11 subjects based on PNN reached 81.8% in total.

the track periodical irregularity is the main external excitation source for the maglev train suspension system. This kind of excitation degrades the stability of the levitation control and decreases the ride comfort. In order to improve the performance of the suspension system, it is necessary to discuss the outputs of the levitation module excited by track periodical irregularities. To explore this problem, a levitation module model contains two suspension units is derived firstly. This model can represent the coupling condition of the suspension units in the levitation module. And then, for further research, based on the levitation module model, a PD controller is designed to keep the levitation module stable. Secondly, by taking the track periodical irregularity as the disturbance input, the outputs characteristic difference of the two units in a levitation module are investigated and several conclusions are obtained. The conclusions provide several advices for the suspension controller design in the next stage. At last, field experiments are carried out and the results illustrating the correctness of conclusions are provided and analyzed.

A novel methodology for designing nonsingular terminal sliding mode controller(TSMC) for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems is introduced. The system states can be guaranteed to reach a integral terminal sliding surface in finite time and then converge to the origin in finite time, while the singularity problem is eliminated. Compared with many existing works on nonsingular TSMC, the proposed method exhibits three attractive features:(1) the switching gain is only required to be designed greater than the bound of the disturbances;(2)when using boundary layer to alleviate chattering, for constant or eventually constant disturbances, zero steady-state error can be achieved;and(3) can be applied to higher order systems directly. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

For sound power determination of the power transformer there are methods standardized by EN 60076-10. These standard methods are based on measurement of sound pressure or sound intensity in few points only. The information about dissipated sound power is not enough in some cases. Due to there was designed method for localization of most noisy parts of the transformer. The method is based on sound intensity mapping in a regular grid. Obtained data are used for creation colour map of sound intensity and sound power calculation.
