Considering the complex calibration of the robot visual servo system, this paper proposed an uncalibrated visual servo method, which is based on the Kalman filter optimized by the simultaneous perturbation stochastic approximation algorithm. In the proposed method, the Kalman filter is applied to the identification of the robot image Jacobi matrix, and the initial values of filter parameters are optimized with the simultaneous perturbation stochastic approximation algorithm. Estimating the image Jacobi matrix and designing the control rate of robots with this method can avoid the complex calibration process. The simulation experiment on the visual servo system of eye-in-hand 6-DOF robots shows that the proposed method can realize the localization in the visual servo system of full-DOF robots accurately without calibrating the camera parameters and the coordinate relations of robots. © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Promoting the effective use of energy with the Energy Hub(EH) is an important part of the construction of the Energy Internet. In this paper, an energy transaction model for the Multiple Energy Hub System(MEHS) based on blockchain technology is proposed, which is a distributed system composed of multiple energy hubs. Firstly, the concept of the EH and the current research and application of the energy hub technology are introduced. Then the definition, structure, classification, consensus mechanism, and smart contract of blockchain technology are described. The feasibility of applying blockchain technology to energy network is analyzed. Thirdly, the model structure and energy transaction framework based on blockchain technology are established. Meanwhile, a series of algorithms that give transaction priority are designed. Finally, the model of MEHS based on blockchain technology is given in detail, and compared with the traditional scheduling model to illustrate the superiority of using blockchain technology. © 2021 IEEE.

Fire plays an indispensable role for humans but fire accident is the leading hazard endangering human life and health, leads to unpredictable loss to the economy, and destroys the environment. Fires when outbreak will push the firefighters on duty facing with dangers. Research and development of firefighting robots to replace firefighters become necessary. In general, firefighting robots are required to be able to move on chaotic and constantly changing terrain, avoid obstacles, detect and approach to fire areas, extinguish fires and save victim. In this research, we have designed and manufactured a belt-driven mobile robot capable of moving on a number of variable terrains, integrated with a machine vision system to detect and identify fires. PLC-based controller is responsible for control the robot to approach the fire areas and avoid obstacles. Experiment work has been conducted and results showed the accuracy of fire detection and an ability of the proposed robot in performing the required firefighting activities.

Unplanned islanding events in dc microgrids bring severe safety hazards to distributed generators (DG) and consumers. The positive feedback islanding detection method (IDM) provides guaranteed protection for consumers due to its small non-detection zone and high detection speed. However, the positive feedback loop continuously injects disturbances into DG and thus will result in a reduction in the stability margin of the grid-connected dc microgrid. Conventional solutions usually provide stability compensation based on grid current in the dc/dc converter to avoid conflicts with IDM, but it requires external communication and thus reduces system reliability. To address this issue, the cascaded impedance model of the grid-connected dc system is developed first in this paper, which reveals the instability mechanism caused by the IDM. On top of that, the phase stability region of the voltage source converter (VSC) is explored and described to guide the damper design. Furthermore, an active damping method is proposed to realize phase compensation for the VSC impedance. In this manner, the negative effect of the islanding detection loop on the stability margin is effectively mitigated without external communication links. Finally, the proposed method is validated in hardware-in-loop experiments. © 1975-2011 IEEE.

To complete the monitoring and searching task of large amphibious areas, multiple Unmanned Amphibious Vehicles (UAVs) have been introduced to solve the coverage problem of such areas. However, few studies were conducted on the coverage problem in amphibious environments, which is particularly challenging and urgent. In this case, we propose a collaborative coverage strategy to achieve amphibious regional coverage. Our approach is based on the following parts. Firstly, a centralized area allocation strategy is used to allocate subregion coverage tasks to each agent. Secondly, a distributed path planning algorithm is used to plan the coverage of each UAV in the amphibious environment to minimize the energy loss of the UAVs. This strategy incorporates the importance of the region and the ability of the agent, which shows great adaptability to the amphibious environment. Finally, the proposed strategy is compared with several previous popular methods in the simulations to verify its effective performance.

In recent years, more and more swarm intelligence algorithms are proposed and used to solve optimal problems for their better applicability and optimization performance. As swarm intelligence algorithms have been applied in more and more fields, the drawback of swarm intelligence algorithms gradually is found when they are utilized to solve optimal problems. Whether the optimization performance of a swarm intelligence algorithm is excellent or not, it can't avoid premature or local optimization perfectly. Therefore, employing novel improvement strategies in swarm intelligence algorithms is helpful for promoting optimization performance of swarm intelligence algorithms. A new optimization algorithm named Artificial sheep algorithm (ASA) is used to solve optimal problems in some different fields, and the test results obtained by various benchmark functions being run on ASA could show that Artificial sheep algorithm (ASA) is an excellent optimization algorithm. Despite all this, ASA is possibly trapped into local optimum or premature. To improve optimal performance of ASA effectively, three improvement strategies, which include random mutation strategy, elite mutation strategy and dynamic levy flight strategy, are applied on ASA. To prove that the optimal performance of the improved ASA named NHASA is superior to ASA, different sorts of benchmark functions are run on ASA and NHASA respectively and test results verify the view above. Random mutation strategy, elite mutation strategy and dynamic levy flight strategy, which can be applied on other swarm intelligence algorithms, may promote the optimization ability of other swarm intelligence algorithms. © 2022 IEEE.

The synergies between electricity and other energy resources could promote energy utilization efficiency in electricity *** this context,this paper proposes a bi-level stochastic optimization model for the joint operation of a coordinated wind power plant(WPP)and natural gas generating(NGG)-power to gas(P2G)suppliers participating in the day-ahead(DA)market and real-time(RT)market as well as providing real-time auxiliary *** coordinated supplier’s payoff is maximized in the upper level with consideration of the uncertainties of WPP output capacity and RT electricity price,while the social welfare of the grid is maximized in the lower *** results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed bidding model of the coordinated WPPs and NGG-P2G suppliers by examining its bidding behaviors and benefits with comparisons of four other bidding models.

This paper presents a magnetic integration scheme of LCL filter with symmetrical structure. This magnetic integration scheme uses EIE core to realize the inductor integration of symmetrical LCL filter, and realizes the decoupling and integration of upper and lower E-cores. The effectiveness of the magnetic integrated symmetrical LCL filter is verified by simulation and experiment. A 600 W single-phase SiC high-frequency inverter was used as the experimental platform to give the output current harmonic analysis results and conducted EMI noise. The symmetrical LCL filter with integrated structure not only has good harmonic suppression effect, but also greatly improves EMI suppression ability. The integrated filter is significantly smaller weight, helping to increase system power density.

Unsupervised image anomaly detection and segmentation algorithms hold significant importance in enhancing product quality in real-world industrial manufacturing. Anomaly detection methods based on the knowledge distillation framework perform detection by characterizing differences between anomalous samples. However, knowledge distillation-based anomaly detection methods often employ similar or identical architectures for constructing both teacher and student models. This practice has led to the issue of vanishing anomaly activation values, resulting in detection failures. Hence, the proposed Multi-Channel Knowledge Distillation model (MCKD) consists of a pair of student networks proficient at effectively capturing defect-related information. One branch of the student network enhances its diverse representation of anomalies by restoring the input's multi-scale representations. The other branch enriches the model's capacity to represent detailed defect information by extracting features from different scales. Additionally, our design of the Residual Features Aggregation Module (RFAM) ensures better retention of normal pattern information within the student network while disregarding information from abnormal patterns, resulting in enhanced modeling of positive samples. The proposed framework achieves state-of-the-art (SOTA) on the well-known MVTec AD dataset, with an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 97.1% for anomaly detection across all 15 categories and an area under the anomaly segmentation of 98.14%.
