In current military and private spheres, the demand for exact localization within the home of mobile agents, especially small unmanned aircraft (UAVs), has attracted significant attention. This paper shows a new method to indoor UAV localization using Ultra-WideBand technology, combined with a cost-effective Motion Measurement Unit (IMU) while vision-based devices. A vital improvement to the positioning process is brought through the inclusion of an additional Kalman filter (EKF). The utilization of an inexpensive and low-cost IMU with the modeling phase, paired with the inclusion of vision odometer measurements for identifying marks in the closeness of the landing area, forms a key aspect of this method. The addition of range data plays a key role in reducing mistakes affiliated with the limited capabilities of gyroscopes and accelerometers, which are inherent in inertial devices. By deploying these multi-modal technologies that the suggested approach achieves a surprising level of precision, with data showing an amazing precision equal to 10 centimeters. This development holds potential for improving the operating effectiveness of small UAVs in indoor settings, offering a robust solution that joins Ultra-WideBand technology, IMU, while vision-based sensors throughout the framework of an Extension Kalman Filter.

The advancement in information technology has been on the increase in the recent past with the expansion of text data dissemination in the form of news, medical reports, product reviews, and social media posts among others, the increase in text data has made text mining and classification mandatory. In the last decade a lot of attempts have been undertaken to solve the text classification problems employing machine learning and deep learning approaches both supervised and unsupervised. In this context, our research proposes High-Resolution NLP for Social Healthcare Networks (HiN-TC), a state-of-the-art text classification approach. In our research, data cleaning and normalization are done using Min-Max with Zero-Mean Rescaling Normalization, feature selection is done using Echelon Adaptive Poplar Algorithm, and feature extraction is done using Bi-Consolidation Transformer that captures key patterns in the text. It is supposed to classify the data with good accuracy using Causal Dilated Cosine Architecture and we have optimized it using Precision-Weighted Leadership Navigator for improved performance. This framework is applied to the COVID-19 vaccination Twitter dataset to help get more superior understanding of social healthcare trends. Our methodology demonstrates significant performance improvements, achieving a 98.5% increase in classification accuracy, a 96.3% reduction in text processing time, and a 97.1% boost in scalability. These outcomes suggest the capability of the HiN-TC to deliver a more profound understanding of the social healthcare networks and suggest that the presented framework can be effective for the enhancement of the efficiency and accuracy in the computationally extensive range of the NLP methods and applications for the analysis of the large-scale unstructured text data in healthcare.

Impact of rGO-coated PEEK and lattice on bone implant

The composite coating can effectively inhibit bacterial proliferation and promote the expression of bone-building genes in-vitro. Therefore, a novel production was used to produce poly-ether-ether-ketone, and reduced graphene oxide (PEEK-rGO) scaffolds with ratios of 1–3%, combining a different lattice for a bone implant. An inexpensive method was developed to prepare the new coatings on the PEEK scaffold with reduced graphene oxide (rGO). Mechanical testing, data analysis and cell culture tests for in-vitro biocompatibility scaffold characterisation for the PEEK composite were conducted. Novel computation microanalysis of four-dimensional (4D) printing of microstructure of PEEK-rGO concerning the grain size and three dimensional (3D) morphology was influenced by furrow segmentation of grains cell growth on the composite, which was reduced from an average of 216–155 grains and increased to 253 grains on the last day. The proposed spherical nanoparticles cell grew with time after dispersed PEEK nanoparticles in calcium hydroxyapatite (cHAp) grains. Also, the mechanical tests were carried out to validate the strength of the new composites and compare them to that of a natural bone. The established 3D-printed PEEK composite scaffolds significantly exhibited the potential of bone implants for biomimetic heterogeneous bone repair. © 2022 The Authors

The expected increase in vehicles with electric drive and the high safety requirements for autonomous driving put fault-Tolerant electric powertrains in focus. Due to the strict cost and space requirements in the automotive sector, fault-Tolerant systems not only have to be based on a mere multiple use of critical components, they also have to bring further advantages for normal operation in order to become established. Multilevel and multiphase systems not only offer inherent fault tolerance, but also other benefits such as higher power density, efficiency and even lower costs. This study aims to improve the classification of flat-ground tricks namely Ollie, Kickflip, Shove-it, Nollie and Frontside 180 through the identification of significant input image transformation on different transfer learning models. Six goofy skateboarders (23 years of age ± 5.0 years’ experience) executed five tricks for each type of trick repeatedly on a customized ORY skateboard (Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) sensor fused) on a cemented ground. From the IMU data, six raw signals were extracted. The best input image transformation and transfer learning model were identified through two input image transformations synthesized, namely raw data (RAW) and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), and six transfer learning models based on default arguments from the Keras library. The variation of the SVM models (via different hyperparameters) was evaluated both on input image transformation and on transfer learning model in classifying the skateboarding tricks. It was shown from the study that RAW input image on three transfer learning models (DenseNet121, InceptionResNetV2, and ResNet101) demonstrated the 100% accuracy on all train, train and validation dataset. It could be concluded that the proposed method is able to improve the classification of the skateboarding tricks well. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Data-driven estimation of system norms is essential for analyzing, verifying, and designing control systems. Existing data-based methods often do not capture the inter-grid and transient behavior of the system, leading to inaccurate and unreliable system norm estimations. This paper presents a unified approach for accurate and reliable estimation of the H 2 and H ∞ norm with a limited amount of data. The key step is to exploit local parametric models that explicitly incorporate the inter-grid and transient dynamics. The system norm is estimated through the computation of local system norms of the local parametric models within their the local frequency interval. Simulation and experimental results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

As the lightest metal material in engineering application, magnesium alloy has widely prospect. In this paper, magnesium alloy is considered to design structural parts of EV lithium ion module in order to improve energy density and enhance mileage. Finite Element Models of modules in EV pack are established separately with aluminium alloy general used in EV pack and magnesium alloy AZ31B. The procedure of impact and random vibration in ABAQUS are analysed according to GB/T31647.3-2015. Compared results show that, single module decrease 0.82Kg and the energy density increase 13.4% with the performance of impact resistance and random vibration resistance better. The feasibility and lightweight effect using magnesium alloy in EV modules industry are proven. It can provide research direction for structural lightweight, energy density increasing and mileage enhancing. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

It is imperative to accurately estimate the final performance of composite parts during the initial design phase of the manufacturing process. In generating sustainable bio composites with superior mechanical properties such as tensile strength, the combination of fillers and plasticizers, as well as their concentration in the mixture, are always deemed crucial. In order to reduce the number of experimental runs and their associated costs and timescales, statistical optimization of the core design elements has become increasingly important. The filler and plasticizer concentrations of extruded bio composites were adjusted in this study utilizing both statistical (analysis of variance (ANOVA) and response surface methodology (RSM)) and machine learning (Multilayer Perceptron (MLP)) approaches. Initial ANOVA results indicated that lignin, epoxidized palm oil (EPO), and their respective combinations were the most influential factors in enhancing the durability of lignin/polylactic acid (PLA) bio composites. In this work, RSM and MLP were used to model and predict the data in order to maximize the various solutions and establish the nonlinear relationship between the concentration of lignin and EPO. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In the era of high-powered automobiles, there occurs a potential for making faster advances in vehicle speed, power, comfort and with improved mileage and efficiency. Increased power demand in India due to the rapid industrialization necessitates the design of vehicles with low cost, reduced losses, less emission and higher efficiency. Large numbers of automobile models step in every year. Hence it is necessary to control the engine operation simultaneously for quicker and efficient operation. As the amount of higher power fid engines increase rapidly so as the requirement of thermal management to withstand the high power. This project focuses on two methods for efficient thermal management; they are conversion of mechanical coolant pump to electric coolant pump and installation of a thermostat in the lubrication system. Both methods have been proved to be efficient in thermal management. These are practically tested and can be used in the near future so that our nation can meet Bharat Stage 6 emission norms.

Providing automated railway gate operations at level crossings, as opposed to manually controlled gates, are the primary purpose of this planned effort. To prevent train accidents at unattended railway gates, the NodeMCU microcontroller was used to construct the suggested prototype model. Two reed sensors, one on each side of the gate, can detect whether a train is approaching the gate using this technology. When a train approaches or leaves a level crossing, reed sensors installed in front of the gate detect the train's arrival or departure, and geared DC motors controlled by a microcontroller open and close the gate, correspondingly. These results in a shorter period of time the gate is closed compared to manually controlled gates, which in turn minimizes the likelihood of human mistake. Using an infrared LED and an oscillator circuit, this study also suggests a method for detecting impediments between the gates when trains arrive. The use of metallic conductivity and a squire wave generating circuit for rail track cut detection is also included in this paper. This might help prevent significant railway accidents. We cross-validated the suggested model with regard to the standard Arduino based Railway Gate Control (ARGC) to evaluate its efficiency. The system is referred to as IoTRGCL.
