In the modern world, drones are growing into flexible tools, capable of performing diverse jobs such as security, transportation, and data gathering. Many of these uses are designed for indoor settings, covering industry sites, workshops, and buildings. This study attempts to present a new tool for the efficient control of drones within the indoor environment. The suggested system sees the coordination of helicopters akin to a the internet about Things (IoT) model, containing sensors and controllers. This platform works on a network linking drones that interact with a single computer. Users can easily handle and watch drones by way of a web application, allowing the creation of complex flight plans and getting access to real-time data collected by sensors. Aided by a wireless network, drones remain in constant contact with the computer through UDP messages. The user-friendly application enables individuals to develop and save flight arrangements, subsequently sending them to linked drones. The flexibility of this platform stretches to various applications in industry, allowing for the inclusion of special sensors (e.g., gas, humidity, radiation) or motors such as grasping devices and carriers on drones, further increasing its usefulness in diverse contexts.

Industry 4.0 industries are relying on automation processes using robots. Robots are multifunctional reprogrammable machines tuned to be used in any process with high accuracy and repeatability. The advent of intelligent technology allows better precision in the welding process. One such robotic welding process is the robot microfriction welding process which is slowly replacing conventional ones. Robot microfriction stir welding (RMFSW) process mainly relays on friction between the tool and material making it more suitable for joining metals in the industries such as automotive and aerospace applications. The robot-assisted MFSW process can provide better joints without human intervention. In this work, a shrinking flange has been designed and fabricated to grip the end effector with the robot. A microfriction stir welding tool was manufactured using EN24 and used to weld 1 mm thin aluminium 1100 sheets. Both the flange and MFSW tools were designed in SOLIDWORKS software. Taguchi L9 was designed with three factors such as motor speed, traverse speed, and plunging depth. The robot microfriction stirs welded samples had controlled bead width and depth of penetration. Mechanical results show an improvement in hardness after the welding process. TOPSIS optimization technique was carried out. The motor speed of 20,000 rpm, traverse speed of 2 mm/sec, and plunge depth of 0.7 mm were found to be the best-optimized parameters. © 2023 R. Manoj Samson et al.

Display panels manufactured in the FAB process are assembled with various films and components in the module (MOD) process, and their final quality is a result of accumulated the quality of hundreds of preceding processes. Due to these limitations, it is hard to analyze the cause of MOD's outliers relevant to the FAB process and much time and money are consumed to maintain the cause process to eliminate MOD outliers. Therefore, we propose a new explainable AI (XAI) approach to detect and improve the module process's outliers by finding the correlation between FAB and MOD in this paper. The proposed approach was verified for MOD outlier cases in the real world's OLED development and manufacturing process. As a result, it confirmed 96.8% of the average accuracy for classifications. This approach presents the FAB factor that caused MOD's outliers based on the correlation between the MOD and the FAB.

Micropatterned Co-based amorphous ribbon meanders were prepared by MEMS technology on the flexible PET substrate. Different holders with varying arch heights were fabricated through 3D printing technology and used for carrying out tensile stresses. The giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) ratio was investigated under different tensile stress inductions (0~88 MPa). The results indicate that the GMI ratio of the flexible ribbon meanders is significantly impacted due to presence of tensile stress. As tensile stress increases, the GMI ratio first increases and then decreases. The maximum GMI ratio of 28.38% is achieved at a tensile stress level of 11 MPa. Additionally, the peak field gradually approaches zero as stress increases. When tensile stress increases from 0 MPa to 88 MPa, the peak field is shifted by 10.59 Oe. © 2023 SPIE · 0277-786X ·

Some problems exist with the classic Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) algorithm, which uses logistic maps as its foundation. We employ an upgraded ECC system to make things more secure. It relies on a location transform and a random sequence to change the pixel values. The Cybersecurity based Cryptography Strategy (CCS) is a new model that improves upon the previous approach in terms of security. It was introduced in this publication. By modifying the values of each pixel, the suggested algorithm shuffles the picture according to the protected sequence. The key uses a secret look-up matrix to generate 32 security key sequences from a given sequence. The encryption key works by operating on n sub-parts of the picture, which increases efficiency. An image encryption technique can be practically tested in Matlab. Histogram comparison, correlation coefficient, and secret key sensitivity are some of the ways the algorithm's security is examined. The suggested algorithm can withstand statistical, brute-force, and plain-text attacks with ease. This innovation provides a safer method of guaranteeing the safety of image data, which may be stored anywhere, even on the cloud. We have presented the final product after testing it on many types of photographs. Lastly, the results of the experiments demonstrate that the encryption is well-built and has protection capabilities; moreover, it is able to resist intense, statistical, and differential attacks.

Rib fractures are common traumatic injuries, with links to increased morbidity and mortality. Finite element ribs from human body models have struggled to predict the force-displacement response, force and displacement at fracture, and the fracture location for isolated rib tests. In the current study, the sensitivity of a human body model rib to boundary conditions, material properties, and geometry was investigated systematically to quantify contributions to response. The boundary conditions and material properties had the greatest influence on the force-displacement response, whereas the geometry had the greatest effect on fracture location. The resulting uncalibrated model closely predicted experimental average force-displacement response and fracture location. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Aiming at the shortcomings of existing four-wheeled robot remote monitoring system, such as poor mobility, complex operation and high consumption, a monitoring system based on web and cloud platform is developed. The system is mainly composed of the perception layer responsible for data acquisition, the transmission layer responsible for data transmission, and the application layer responsible for remote monitoring by users. Among them, the sensor and CPU are used to collect the job information of the robot, and then the collected data is sent to the Cloud Server by MQTT protocol through the MQTT module. The data is rendered from the Cloud Server to the page using TCP/IP protocol and AXJX. The experimental results show that the system has good stability, good real-time performance and ideal monitoring effect. It effectively solves the problems of real-time on-site monitoring and remote monitoring of robot operation information. © 2019 IEEE.
