The characteristics of low transmission power and narrow bandwidth make the IEEE 802.15.4 system vulnerable to external interference. The interference varies in time, frequency and is not able to be recognized since the modulation technology is normally different. As applications in the field of electrostatic detection require large-scale deployment, the traditional method of switching channel to avoid interference is difficult to achieve. This paper proposes an interference mitigation strategy for IEEE 802.15.4 system to maintain communications during times of interference by ensuring reliable multi-hop transmission. Experiment results prove that this strategy is effective for maintaining the transmission among sensor nodes in IEEE 802.15.4 network.

Based on the vision persistence principle, a novel clock with rotating LED display is developed. 8-bit microcontroller AT89S52 is used as the core controller. The rotating board is made up of the core controller, 20 LEDs and other components. Magnet is used to complete the synchronization. Each time the board passed the same place, a Hall Effect sensor perceived the magnet and generated an interruption. During operation, the microcontroller keeps track of time and changes the pattern of 20 LEDs with exact timing to simulate a 20x180 array of LEDs while the propeller is spin by the motor. The illusion of a flat image is produced by the moving LED array. The power source comes from the spinning armature of a DC motor since the clock is on a spinning piece of board.

In the present work,numerical investigations for the three-dimensional WIG effect vehicle with direct underside pressurization(DUP) have been performed to analyze aerodynamic characteristics and static height *** computational model consists of all compartments of a WIG effect vehicle such as propeller,fuselage,air chamber,main wing,and *** the results of this study,the DUP is not favorable for both stability and aerodynamic performance of the WIG effect vehicle because the accelerated air produces an excessive drag,negative pitching moment and 3-dimensional effects(that is,yawing and rolling moments).The result shows that the effect of yawing and rolling moments is not serious.

Electrostatic human body detector is a detector which obtain target information through catching the electrostatic field of the target. It play an important role in the human body detection technology. This paper focused on using dielectrophoresis theory to detect the coupling heart electric field between the operator and the detected living human, while analyzing the electrorotation electric field about this problem. Firstly, we described the electrorotation effect which belongs to dielectrophoresis theory. Then, the double-human coupling heart electric field and the electrorotation four-pole electrode structure which generates measuring electric field were analysised. Finally, the Three dimensional finite element method was used to simulate and calculate the measuring electric field. Simulation result shows that electrorotation effect electric field and the conclusion is in accordance with the theory. The conclusion of this paper is the most significant studies of the passive electrostatic human body detection technique.

A novel sensor placement method is proposed for structural health monitoring in our previous investigations. The proposed method depends on both the characteristics and the actual loading situations of a structure. The aim of the method is to select sensor locations from a set of possible candidate positions for achieving the best identification of modal frequencies and mode shapes, and therefore for best damage identification and subsequent structural health monitoring. In the current work, experiments are conducted on a six-story truss structure to verify the proposed load dependent sensor placement method. Different loading conditions are tested and identified mode shapes are compared in terms of identification accuracy. It is found that better mode shape identification can be achieved with the proposed novel load dependent sensor placement method. The experiments have verified that loading conditions under various working environment have to be accounted for when the issue of sensor placement is arisen.
