Data merging method by protecting energy in wireless sensor networks

Privacy protecting is a direct manifestation of information confidentiality, such as the perception of the terminal location information. Data collection is an important information resource of things, and it is also one of the needs for protecting sensitive information. Privacy protecting has a significant role in application of the Cyber Physical Systems (CPS). As a part of the Internet technology, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) can supply the privacy protecting in data merging. This paper presents a novel data merging method (DMM) by protecting energy in wireless sensor networks, which utilities properties of the data merging tree framework to depress communication overhead. It randomly allocates the time slices to nodes with the aim of avoiding impact, and limits the impacted range to loss resilience. Compared with the PDA algorithm, the experimental results show that DMM can protect data privacy and achieve accurate data merging results while getting the same epoch delay as tiny aggregation algorithm. It has small communication overhead. DMM uses datadependent fusion characteristics of the tree structure to eliminate PDA algorithm for unnecessary communication node so that the data transmission amount is reduced to about 52% of PDA in case of the same privacy protection security. © 2014 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

Influence of molar ratio on Pyrrole - O-Toluidine nanospheres of copolymer has been synthesized simple chemical method at room temperature. Surface morphological transformation of copolymers was observed due to different molar ratio of 0.5M and 1M. The orthorhombic crystalline nature was analysed by X-Ray diffraction pattern. Surface morphology was studied through scanning electron microscopy. The average grain sizes of copolymers were found to be 150nm. FTIR study reveals that the selenious acid is presented in the copolymer. UV-visible spectrum shows π-π* transition of copolymer. © 2015, Nanofun-Poly. All rights reserved.

A falling detection system with wireless sensor for the elderly people based on ergnomics

Fall detection is an important problem in the application research of wireless sensor. The paper presents wireless sensor architecture based human falling detection system especially for elderly people. The falling detection system is implemented using 3-axis acceleration sensor to measures and collects the elderly people activities acceleration and transfer data by zigbee-3G network to remote medical monitoring system platform, which makes a pre-processing method that suspected data is acquired based on one -class SVM classification algorithm. The algorithm analyzed different action which expended different threshold ranges of energy to judgment, and then analyzed the special temporal speed, displacement and angle as an auxiliary criterion for judgment. The experiments show that the application can offer a new guarantee for the elderly health. © 2014 SERSC.

In an increasingly instrumented and inter-connected digital world, citizens generate vast amounts of data, much of it personal, and nearly all of it valuable. However, controlling who can collect it, limiting what they can do with it, and determining how best to protect it, remain deeply undecided issues. This position paper proposes a socio-technical solution based on collective awareness and informed consent, whereby data collection and data protection norms are configured by the users themselves, using a collaborative participatory process of argumentation. This refers to the ability of users to understand privacy-related documents and their implications via participatory processes, wisdom-of-the-crowds approaches and visual cues. By strengthening the trust bond between service developers and users, the transformative impact of this solution, called Privacy-by-Norms (Pb Norms), will be to encourage innovation and to ensure that (big) data's (tiny) generators are also its beneficiaries. Pb Norms will aim to complement existing top-down solutions to data protection that rely on technical or legal provisions. The goal is to enable citizens to express their privacy expectations through the use of mature ICT technologies from the fields of Computational Argumentation and the Semantic Web.

In the field of intangible cultural heritage's digital protection,a lot of research work has been made by all countries in the world,while the research on the digital communication of intangible cultural heritage is few and especially rarely seen in *** the premise,in this paper,the factors influencing intangible cultural heritage in the communication process are analyzed based on the information characteristics of intangible cultural heritage and the advantages of I-Space framework model in researching information ***,combined with the birch bark making technology in Heilongjiang province,the knowledge-based and signified communication strategy of intangible cultural heritage is proposed,aiming at providing new ideas for the researches on the digital communication of intangible cultural heritage.

A video saliency detection algorithm based on feature learning, called ROCT, is proposed in this work. To detect salient regions, we design multiple spatiotemporal features and combine those features using a support vector machine (SVM). We extract the spatial features of rarity, compactness, and center prior by analyzing the color distribution in each image frame. Also, we obtain the temporal features of motion intensity and motion contrast to identify visually important motions. We train an SVM classifier using the spatiotemporal features extracted from training video sequences. Finally, we compute the visual saliency of each patch in an input sequence using the trained classifier. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm provides more accurate and reliable results of saliency detection than conventional algorithms. © 2014 IEEE.

We present a novel approach that allows the user to feel the other's emotional status while communicating with each other in a video chat. The video chat is composed of physiological sensors and multimodal displays. In our first prototype, we employed a Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) sensor and a Blood Volume Pulse (BVP) sensor as they were crucial indications to human emotions. A vibrotactile motor and a RGB LED were also used in order to convey and display the other's emotion on one's wrist. Along with the hardware part, we implemented intuitive software for processing, transmitting, and displaying bio feedback data.

Implementing aliasing-free (zero-aliasing) space compressors for built-in self-testing of very large scale integration circuits and systems is of great significance, especially in view of the technological paradigm shift in recent years from system-on-board to system-on-chip design. This paper investigates and provides new approach to realizing aliasing-free elementary-tree space compaction hardware targeting specifically embedded cores-based system-on-chips for single stuck-line faults, extending well-known concept from conventional switching theory, viz. that of compatibility relation as used in the minimization of incompletely specified sequential machines. For a pair of response data outputs of the circuit under test, the paper introduces the notion of fault detection compatibility and conditional fault detection compatibility (conditional upon some other response output pair being simultaneously fault detection compatible) with respect to two-input AND/NAND and XOR/XNOR logic. The process is illustrated in the paper with details of synthesis of space compressors for the International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS) 85 combinational and ISCAS 89 full-scan sequential benchmark circuits using fault simulation programs ATALANTA, FSIM and HOPE, exemplifying the relevance of the technique from the standpoint of simplicity, resultant low area overhead and full fault coverage for single stuck-line faults, making it thus a logical choice in commercial design environments.
