The aims of this research are to (1) Design and build a Batik Industrial Waste Monitoring and Control System Based on the Internet of Things (BIWMCS -IoT);(2) Test the performance of the BIWMCS-IoT system. The design and implementation of the BIWMCS-IoT system consist of five stages, namely: (1) Needs analysis, (2) Design, consisting of electronic planning, hardware, and software;(3) Development, including hardware and software development;(4) Testing, and (5) implementation. The BIWMCS-IoT system consists of a sensor unit to measure the parameters of water turbidity, temperature, Power of Hydrogen (pH), and the flow velocity of the wastewater then obtained by the microcontroller and the results are sent to the Wi-Fi module to adjust the solenoid valve opening and closing. Based on the testing of the system, has been shown that the BIWMCS-IoT system can work well according to the standards in the Minister of Indonesian Environment Regulation Number 05 of 2014. The reading accuracy of the batik waste monitoring system reaches 96.6% with the delivery time to the smartphone less than 30 seconds. This shows that this system can work well to monitor and control the liquid waste produced by the batik industry. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Indonesia, as one of the largest coffee producers and exporters in the world, has experienced significant growth in the number of coffee shops, driven by increasing consumer demand for ready-to-drink coffee. This study aims to enhance sales performance at Authen Café and Space through the implementation of a menu bundling strategy. By utilizing data mining techniques and the Apriori algorithm, customer purchasing patterns were analyzed to identify optimal menu combinations. The data was collected directly at Authen Cafe during the period from April to August 2028. The analysis revealed that bundling strategies, such as combining Ayam Rica-Rica with Es Kopi Susu Karamel, are effective in increasing sales volume and product popularity among consumers. Furthermore, this study evaluated the impact of offering discounts on bundled packages on the café's profitability, demonstrating that this approach can boost net profit without sacrificing profit margins. This research provides significant insights into the application of data-driven marketing strategies within the café'industry and offers guidance for more effective managerial decision-making.

Microplastic Contamination in Urban Groundwater: A Case study From Jakarta Megacity, Indonesia

Microplastics, classified as emerging contaminants, are recognized for their pollution of various environments, including groundwater. This study focuses on Jakarta, a major city in Asia where some communities still rely on groundwater as their source of clean water. We analyzed 121 groundwater samples from West Jakarta and South Jakarta to assess microplastic abundance and characteristics including color, shape, size, and material. The study also explored the correlation between microplastic abundance and influencing factors such as distance to septic tanks, distance to temporary waste disposal sites, Escherichia coli concentrations, and total coliform concentrations. The results indicate microplastic concentrations ranging from 28 to 236 particles/L with averages of 104 particles/L in West Jakarta and 78 particles/L in South Jakarta. Fragments were the most common shapes (85.68%), followed by fibers (12.86%), films (0.8%), and microbeads (0.66%). Black (85.93%) was the dominant color of microplastics, followed by red (8.2%), transparent (3.13%), blue (1.76%), yellow (0.75%), and green (0.23%). Microplastic size ranged from 20 μm to 3.76 mm, with the dominant polymer materials being Tencel, cellophane, and polyethylene (PE). Further analysis showed a significant correlation between microplastic abundance and distance to temporary waste disposal sites, with closer proximity resulting in higher concentrations. Trends in correlations between microplastic abundance and distance to septic tanks, E. coli concentration, and total coliform concentration were observable but not significant. The experiment was carried out by growing BaTiO3 (Undoped or Li-doped) on p-type Si(1 0 0) substrates using the Chemical Solution Deposition (CSD) method and spin coating at a rotational speed of 3000 rpm for 60 s, followed by heating at 850 °C. The characterization results show that the bandgap energy value of the thin film due to lithium doping reduces the bandgap energy value. This is presumably because the donor atom added to a semiconductor causes the allowable energy level to be slightly below the conduction band. The presence of this new band causes the thin film bandgap energy to decrease with a five-valent tantalum dip. The morphological properties showed that the BaTiO3/Si(1 0 0) thin film particles in the deposited lithium had a fairly homogeneous grain. With the addition of lithium acetate as a binder into barium titanate, the grain size is getting smaller because it is suspected that the lithium-ion radius is smaller than the barium-ion radius. Measurement of I-V on the thin film shows that the output voltage value increases with more light intensity hitting the surface of the thin film. The greater the light intensity, the greater the energy of the photons, so the electrons are easier to jump. The three things above (both electrical and morphological properties) conclude that the thin films grown have the potential for photovoltaics. © 2023

The pandemic has brought many negative impacts on human life. One of the negative impacts is economic downturn of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) actors in Bangka Belitung Province. To solve this problem, a website-based marketplace platform called Yobagi was created. As we know, a new software product must have a good user experience. By having a good user experience means that the product has met the needs of its users. For this reason, an evaluation of the user experience is necessary. This study aims to measure the user experience of using Yobagi. The evaluation uses the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) tool, which consists of six scales: Attractiveness, Efficiency, Perspicuity, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. There were 40 respondents who were taken from the top of MSME actors. As the UX evaluation results, it is known that the final score of the six scales is above 0.8 and at the excellent level. This means that Yobagi users have a very good user experience in using Yobagi. In addition, Yobagi has met the criteria for good software by having an excellent user experience value. © 2022 IEEE.

High performance polysulfone (PSf) membrane has been prepared for treating of batik palembang wastewater. Many investigations attempted the use of polysulfone (PSf) membranes to filtrate dilute contaminant in textile wastewater. The matrix membrane is a mixture of PSf which is produced by adding inorganic materials to obtain a polymer that functions to manufacture the membrane by increasing hydrophilicity and impurity resistance. MMM were fabricated from a dope solution containing PSf/LiCl/DMF at different additives composition. Antifouling properties of membranes could be enhance with 0.0 - 10 wt.% LiCl that has been added into dope solution. Pure water permeation flux analysis (PWP), AFM and FESEM. From the results of research on FESEM, the PSf / LiCL membrane showed a fairly symmetrical cross-sectional structure containing two layers. The layers of the tiny finger-like structure on the edge of the perforated fibers and the holes like the larger fingers are mixed with the macrovoid layer in the middle section. PWP flux is not proportional to mean rough outer surface but higher water permeation. Therefore, PSf/LiCl exhibited a better performance that resulted a much lower fouling tendency than the naked membrane in batik Palembang wastewater treatment. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The utilization of natural resources and the environment to improve the community's welfare is an unavoidable choice. The environment used should still protect the environment. This study aims to provide an overview of the company's efforts to implement its obligation to preserve the environment using a different type of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which were community development and green marketing. The method used was a survey by taking the population at two different places, Jakarta and Pangkal Pinang. The sampling technique was done using a purposive method to obtain samples that meet the company's CSRreceiver's criteria. The number of the respondent from the first population is 44 respondents and from the second population is 100 respondents. Data analysis was done using simple and multiple linear regression. The results showed that CSR's implementation had a significant impact on education, health, and poverty reduction. CSR activity by the company was accepted by society activities directly in the form of counseling and mentoring. CSR activities conducted on marketing activities by implementing Green Marketing found that pricing and promoting an environmentally sound positive impact on consumers' willingness to buy back the product. The local government of a city as an organization depends on decision makers in government management to support the vision and mission of the city to achieve eco-city goals based on data and information from several knowledge domains. Knowledge management is seen as an increasingly important scientific discipline that encourages the creation, sharing and utilization of knowledge in an organization. Knowledge management is also related to the concept of intellectual capital, the most valuable organizational resource. Knowledge sharing systems are designed to help decision makers and stakeholders share their knowledge. Most knowledge management systems in organizations are designed to share the explicit knowledge of individuals, organizations and finally distributed to the community. This research is the approach in the development model that can be used in the governance to achieve eco-city goals. Complex knowledge about eco-cities requires policies that are based on current knowledge and can be implemented immediately with a thorough understanding of all aspects. Robots have become increasingly important in a variety of life domains as a result of the rapid advancement of technology. Additionally, robots are employed in education as teaching assistants in science, art, and language courses. This research aims to explore the potential of robotic systems as a multipurpose tool for increasing cultural awareness, language proficiency, and communicative competence in the GenAI era. Language games, conversation simulations, and real-time feedback mechanisms are just a few examples of interactive scenarios enabled by virtual robot systems or tutor robots that enable immersive language experiences that go beyond the limitations of conventional schooling. This research contributes knowledge that explores how AI can be used to personalize language teaching according to the needs and learning styles of each student in higher education. The total population of undergraduate students involved in this research was 350 for the 2023 academic year, with 24 students selected purposefully based on sample characteristics from this group who were exposed to using AI for one semester. The research method used is a mix method with quantitative analysis of the results of surveys and interviews with students who are known to have given positive responses and proposes a comprehensive strategy for using AI robot technology in EFL classrooms, which can significantly improve effective learning outcomes. The survey results also show that if educators have a solid understanding of the relationship between linguistic acquisition and technological advances, they will be better prepared to design engaging, individualized lessons that prepare their students to use the language effectively in real-world contexts. The robot-assisted language learning (RALL) approach used in this study, with the integration of robots in the classroom, has the potential to change the way people learn languages to make it more interesting, fun, and motivating, increase engagement

Bioethanol has many functions both as a chemical, food and as a source of energy. The development of bioethanol production is currently leading to the residue of the main product. So that in this study the biomass of arena or Arenga Pinatta was used with a large availability of waste. Therefore, a performance and economic analysis was carried out in the production of bioethanol from palm biomass with ionic liquid (IL) using SuperPro Designer (SPD) Software. As a preparatory stage, the process of testing the characteristics of the biomass is carried out to obtain the most optimal composition of palm sugar in bioethanol production. After simulating the conditions according to the experimental process on the most optimal palm biomass composition, it was found that the most optimal Ionic Liquid (IL) and biomass ratio was at 0.5 g/g with the ethanol concentration obtained at 90.6 g/L at 13 hours which corresponds to theoretical yield of 96% conversion of biomass to ethanol. Meanwhile, the production of ethanol in a factory for energy can minimize the price of ethanol by 30% from the initial price. Thus, with the abundant availability of biomass, bioethanol production with aren biomass has the potential to be developed in Indonesia. © 2023 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.
