A geothermal well is one of the main components in the geothermal field. The well is essential for geothermal utilization and connecting between reservoir and surface. Based on the condition to discharge fluid toward the surface, wells are categorized as self-discharge wells (able to discharge naturally to surface) and non-self-discharge wells (not able to discharge naturally to surface). For wells categorized as non-self-discharge with low pressure and low-medium temperature, an artificial method needs to be implemented, which is the use of downhole pump technology, namely electrical submersible pump (ESP) or line shaft pump (LSP). This condition occurs in well in Tulehu geothermal field (X-1). Downhole pump technology has been developed in several geothermal fields in other countries and has been proven to increase geothermal well production. The purpose of this research is to determine the appropriate engineering design for the implementation of a downhole pump in X-1 well and the net power output that can be produced. The research method was carried out analytically from evaluating and analyzing well-testing results, including completion test and production test to determine the condition and characteristics of the well, performing technical design calculation for downhole pump implementation, and calculating the binary cycle analysis of power plant obtain net power generated. Optimum pump setting depth in 600 meters depth that can produce mass flow rate 48.28 kg/s, and optimum model is ORC power plant with Butane working fluid that can produce Net Power Output 1.382 MW for ORC power plant model combined with ESP-2.

Cassava is widely cultivated in South East Asia countries like Indonesia. However, ordinary cassava flour cannot substitute wheat flour due to lack of gluten. Fermented cassava flour (fercaf) is a protein enriched cassava flour which is produced from a fermentation process of cassava flakes by lactic acid bacteria. Fercaf may serve as substitution to wheat flour, especially in pasta production. Nevertheless, a number of modifications should be exercise in product formulation to meet the ordinary 'wheat base' pasta product specifications. The current study was focus on these modifications i.e., addition of other flour and addition of hydrocolloids. The properties of pasta such as elasticity, yield, cooking weight, hardness, stickiness as well as sensory property were examined to determine the best pasta formulation. The results show that pasta made from fercaf with the addition of rice and corn flour gave strong and elastic texture while hydrocolloid addition increased water-binding of the pasta. The final pasta formulation included ratio of fercaf:rice:corn flour by 70:10:20 and addition of 2,5% xanthan gum.

This paper presents a method to predict geothermal performance along production life using a lumped parameter model that has considered mass balance, heat changes, and porous media flow in geothermal reservoirs. Furthermore, the lumped model provides more information on the characteristics of geothermal reservoirs. This paper focuses on developed and combined Satman's model on mass balance and Schilthuis's model on material balance for oil reservoirs. This paper can calculate heat and mass balance for the non-isothermal condition with pressure and temperature changes, unlike previously published papers. Besides, this paper also includes Darcy's equation to change the 'tank' concept of lumped to be porous media as an actual reservoir condition. Thus the production mass rate can be calculated. The model developed can be used for performing history matching, 'quick count' of numerical simulation due to there is calculation well by well, if those combined, can determine an entire reservoir with a simple calculation. On the other hand, this method reduces the complexity of numerical calculation. Therefore, new lumped is expected to be an alternative for application in geothermal reservoirs.

The Ertankian Geothermal Prospect is located in the southern area of Bogor District, West Java, Indonesia. From 1982 through the end of 1983, Unocal Geothermal of Indonesia, Ltd. (UGI) conducted extensive geological, geochemical, and geophysical surveys that outlined Ertankian as a potential geothermal field on the flanks of the Salak Volcano. This volcano forms the north-eastern part of the Salak-Perbakti-Gagak Volcanic Massif, which consists of Upper Pleistocene to Recent stratovolcanoes, parasitic vents, and phreatomagmatic craters. The exploration survey included, magnetotelluric and gravity surveys, water geochemistry, thermal manifestation gas, ion, and isotope analyses, and geological, photo-geological interpretation, and photogrammetry interpretation. Kawah Ertankian is a vigorous fumarole area with numerous superheated and boiling steam vents, boiling acid sulfate hot springs, and large areas of acid-altered ground. Elemental sulfur is common around many of the vents. Steam from the Ertankian Fumaroles contains 7 mol% H2S and the maximum reservoir temperature obtained from the NAH-CO2 gas geothermometer was 525°F. The Ertankian Hot Springs have acid sulfate character and yield little information about the underlying hydrothermal system. Bicarbonate chloride warm springs occur on the northern flanks of the Salak Volcano at northwest and northeast locations and interpreted as the outflow product of Ertankian Geothermal System. Extensive areas of low resistivity are distributed across most of the Ertankian Geothermal Prospects. Low resistivity zones are observed around the Kawah Ertankian thermal manifestation complex and broaden to the far northwestern warm spring and Gunung Perbakti in the southwest. The shallowest base of the conductor is observed in the area near Kawah Ertankian and probably extends towards the northwest in the Alpha-19 well area. Towards the south and southwest, a significant deepening of base of the clay cap is observed. The observed res

Research on the Palu earthquake in the period of August to October 2018 has been carried out in the Palu Koro Fault (PKF) zone with a hypocenter of 5-20 km. This study aims to determine the fractal dimensions of these earthquakes based on the relationship between logarithmic frequency and earthquake magnitude correlation introduced by Gutenberg-Richter. Statistical correlation between logarithmic frequency and earthquake magnitude was calculated using the inversion approach. Based on the calculation results obtained fractal dimension value of 1.0378, which describes the seismicity pattern at a depth of 5-20 km. It indicates that the earthquakes triggered by the movement in rupture segments which seen as points along the PKF zone.

Budget constraints are a common problem in Indonesian cities to provide attractive and attractive public open space. There is a need for cooperation between all parties, not only the government but also the private sector and society. These conditions encourage the Semarang City government to increase stakeholder collaboration in the provision of public green open space, one of which is in the development of Taman Indonesia Kaya. The purpose of this study is to examine the model of the collaboration process, the involvement and role of each stakeholder and the sustainability of collaboration. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collection using observations and interviews on each stakeholder element, namely government, private and public. The results show that the collaboration process model starts from face to face dialogue, trust building, commitment to the process, shared understanding between stakeholders until the realization of attractive and attractive public green open space development. However, the sustainability of collaboration is a big challenge going forward. The structure of cooperation is not yet supported by clear institutional design, so that government courage and innovation are needed to determine the form of structural governance in collaborative management of public green open space. Collaboration should be carried out over the long term and use a networked administrative organization model so that the network that is built is in an administrative entity. The model is expected to create efficiency management and support the sustainability of collaboration.

Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is Diabetes Mellitus microvascular complication, which attacks the eyes and can cause blindness. The DR examination currently is done with the fundus photography technique. The image produced by the technique is studied by the ophthalmologist manually. This research aimed to develop a computer aided diagnosis in the DR detection system using Gray Level Run Length Matrices (GLRLM) features extraction and Artificial Neural Network. This DR detection was done by Gray Level Run Length Metrices (GLRLM) texture features extraction method. Five texture features used were: Short Run Emphasis (SRE), Long Run Emphasis (LRE), Gray Level Non-Uniformity (GLN), Run Length Non-Uniformity (RLN), and Run Perecentage (RP). The five features were used as Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network input. The parameters are varied in the Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network training phase. The data used in this research were 110 retinal fundus images consists of 20 normal retinal fundus images, 45 NPDR retinal fundus images, and 45 PDR retinal fundus images. The highest accuracy result gained in the training phase is 97.14% and testing phase is 92.5%. This detection program produces a sensitivity value of 93.33% and a specificity value of 90%, therefore, it can be used as an initial indicator to detect DR.

Fire sprinkler is a safety system that is active when fire is detected. It consists of a bulb that holds the water flow and made of glass with liquid inside. The increase of temperature in its environment would expand the volume of the liquid and break the glass which leads to water spray to extinguish the fire. This study aims to model and simulate the fire sprinkler bulb and optimize several parameters related to its activation including the thickness of the bulb, type of liquid and the ratio of air and liquid inside the bulb. The modeling and simulation was performed in COMSOL Multiphysics with variation of wall thickness and liquid inside the bulb. The result showed that the best parameter was the liquid of glycerol, a height of 17.5 mm and a glass thickness of 0.1 mm, this resulted in the air to liquid ratio of 0.0042428 and breaking time of 7.2400s. This result was the fastest breaking time towards several simulations. For future study, several parameters need to be considered in the simulation to minimize the gap between the simulation and the actual condition, such as room condition, and water pressure.
