The utilization of hydroponic cultivation in agriculture is increasing due to its high productivity even in limited spaces. However, in practice, monitoring and controlling nutrients in hydroponic systems often require intensive human supervision and intervention. This issue can be addressed through technological advancements, particularly with the adoption of microcontrollers, sensors, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Previous research has developed IoT-based monitoring and control systems for DFT hydroponics using the Blynk platform. This study aims to develop an IoT-based nutrient monitoring and automation system for floating raft hydroponics. Floating raft hydroponics was chosen for its simplicity, lower installation costs, and space optimization. The system developed in this study uses the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor with an average error of 1.229%, the DS18B20 water temperature sensor with an error of 0.415%, and the TDS sensor with an error of 2.055%. The sensor and actuator measurement data are presented via the Antares Web. This research has the potential to minimize the necessity for manual intervention in hydroponic systems, thereby enhancing both efficiency and consistency in nutrient delivery. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Planck's constant experiment has been carried out to determine the value of Planck's constant using the regression analysis method. The steps are carried out using the scientific process outlined in the practical work steps. The specification of the experimental equipment uses the Planck constant experimental set with 12v/35w tungsten halogen light, 15v output, +-0.2% accuracy, 220V power requirement, 0.5A fuse rating and red, yellow 1, yellow 2, and red color filters, green and blue. Experiments using the concept of the photoelectric effect phenomenon began by irradiating metallic materials with light using a filter. The wavelength (635, 570, 540, 500, 460) nm is the light filter variation. The wavelength that hits the metal material is selected by placing a light filter on the light propagation path toward the metal material. So the light that passes through the filter is only light with a certain wavelength. After the metal material is irradiated by light with a certain wavelength, then the stopping potential voltage measurement is carried out on the metal material irradiated by light. From the variation of the light filter used, it is possible to calculate Planck's constant using the regression method with the value obtained 6.26x1034. This value is very close to the actual Planck's constant value which is 6.62x1034 so an error value is obtained 4.23%. With 95.77% accuracy, Planck's constant value obtained from the calculation using the linear regression method can be said to be very close to the actual Planck's constant value. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Along with technological improvements, online shopping is currently developing quickly. Online shops started by selling electronics, clothing, food, and home appliances and continue to evolve, selling various things. Currently, digital marketing has a novel technique, namely live shopping, where sellers can present, promote and offer their products directly through live streaming on social media and e-commerce platforms. This research will focus on gaining insight into the factors influencing customers to watch and purchase through live streaming. This research is an early-stage study of exploring and searching for research models. The study used a literature review approach by reviewing similar previous research articles. Several variable components were used in this study. The findings of the factors include visibility capacity, meta-vocation capacity, purchase orientation capacity, social presence, price, perceived product quality, perceived enjoyment, purchase orientation, perceived usefulness, and intention to buy. These factors were tested and proved to be valid with Cronbach's Alpha value being more than 0.5 and reliable with the value of the loading factor a greater than 0.6. Criteria The factors of the findings for further analysis of the relationship between factors and other variables. © 2023 IEEE.

Heavy metal and microplastic pollutions are prevalent in freshwater ecosystems, with many freshwater bodies being contaminated by one or both of these pollutants. Recent studies reported extreme detections of Cd, Pb and Zn, high concentrations of Cr, Pb and Cu and microplastics acting as vectors of pollutants, including heavy metals. Mayflies can serve as bioindicators of heavy metal contamination in freshwater ecosystems because changes in their community structure, physiology, and behaviour can reflect and help predict the concentrations of metals in these environments. This review discusses the ecological alterations induced by tissue metal concentration in mayflies and other macroinvertebrates. As sensitive taxa to heavy metal contamination, mayflies can reflect the impacts of this pollution through their ethology and relationship to the substrate, highlighting issues such as eutrophication, alterations in community structure, inhibitory effects and sediment toxicity. Mayflies are also highly affected by microplastic exposure, which leads to ingestion, bioaccumulation, biomagnification, habitat and community alteration, behavioural changes, physiology alteration and toxicity. Mayflies bioindication metrics for assessing the impact of heavy metals and microplastics include the examination of community alteration, functional feeding behaviour, molecular structure, dietary and toxicity impacts, bioaccumulation and biomagnification and biomarkers. Current challenges for the utilization of mayflies as bioindicators include temporal variations in sensitivity, lack of universally recognised protocols and need for standardised protocols for microplastic analysis. Additionally, the applicability of mayflies as bioindicators may vary across different ecosystems, emphasising the need for selecting suitable indicators that align with the unique characteristics of the ecosystem. © 2024 The Authors

Integrated geoscience data evaluation is needed to determine the location of the heat source in the Tompaso Geothermal Field. The location of the heat source in the Tompaso Geothermal Field should be known to update the conceptual model. The updated conceptual model can be used as a reference in development plans of Tompaso Geothermal Field. Therefore, through integrated geoscience data evaluation such as geological settings, remote sensing data, resistivity and gravity data, fluid chemistry data, and temperature measurements data from wells are expected to determine the presence of the heat sources, especially beneath Umeh Volcanic Complex (UVC) in the Tompaso Geothermal Field. Based on geological and remote sensing data, the location of heat sources of Tompaso Geothermal Field are predicted beneath Sempu Volcanic Complex (SVC) and Umeh Volcanic Complex (UVC). SVC is related to recent volcanic activity while UVC is related to "monogenetic"volcanism. The gravity data beneath SVC showed high gravity anomaly contrasts than its surrounding areas, while high gravity anomaly beneath UVC has lower contrast than SVC. However, chemical fluid analysis from thermal manifestations and temperature from the wells indicated the presence of heat source beneath UVC. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

A new Y-doped Al-Hf-Nb-Ti-V refractory high-entropy alloy (RHEA) system was developed as a candidate material for high-temperature structural applications. Microstructural investigation and X-ray diffraction characterization indicated that the as-cast alloy exhibits a non-homogeneous microstructure with distinct dendritic and interdendritic regions. The addition of equimolar ratio of Al to the HfNbTiV RHEA resulted in an amorphous phase and a small amount of intermetallic phase formation. The enthalpy calculation revealed that this alloy has a mixing enthalpy of -16.2 ***-1 and a delta parameter of 5.8%, which are considerably lower negative and lower, respectively, compared with the conventional high entropy alloys. The addition of minor Y element slightly increases the value of [[EQUATION]] and δ which suppresses the occurrence of the amorphous phase and contributes to the intermetallic compound formation by increasing the amount of strongly chemically attracted atomic pairs (SCAAPs) Al-Hf and Al-Y beyond a critical value. © 2023, The Authors. Coal-fired power plants are major contributors to global CO2 emissions, prompting the need for strategies to mitigate their environmental impact. Ammonia co-firing has emerged as a promising solution for reducing CO2 emissions. This study employs computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to optimize ammonia injection in a 1000 MW Ultra Super Critical Coal Fired Power Plant. Initially, four injection locations (equally divided, top burner, bottom burner, mid burner) were simulated at a 20% thermal energy co-firing ratio. The bottom burner injection showed the lowest NOx emissions. Building on these findings, the focus shifted to varying injection locations, particularly the bottom burner. Increased co-firing ratios led to reduced gross power and derating due to altered heat absorption and water content from ammonia combustion. Flue gas properties and composition were affected. NOx emissions showed a complex trend with initial reductions up to 20% due to ammonia's effect, but exceeding 20% co-firing led to dramatic NOx increases, surpassing limits at 60% co-firing. Burnout ratio linearly increased due to low unburned ammonia. However, coal burnout exhibited a different pattern, initially increasing, then declining after 40% co-firing. This was attributed to the char-NO reaction counteracting decreased coal volatilization caused by high ammonia levels. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The purpose of this research is to optimize the integration of digital marketing through the role of the millennial generation as an effort for MSMEs to survive during the COVID-19 pandemic. To survive during this COVID-19 pandemic, the role of the millennial generation needs to be maximized by adopting a digital mindset because the presence of technology is very closely related to the millennial generation. all activities and mindsets that arise from the current millennial generation are closely related to technology to carry out management functions in MSMEs. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research because this research aims to make a systematic, factual, and accurate picture or painting of the facts, characteristics and relationships between phenomena regarding the development of the Creative Industry in the Handicraft Sector in Bengkulu City. To optimize the integration of digital marketing as an effort to survive the MSMEs during the Covid 19 Pandemic, MSME actors need to optimize the millennial generation by: Adopting a digital mindset (digital mindset), Using new models, Formulating new strategies, Implementing effective strategies, Generating sustainability. © 2021 IEEE.

The available prophylactic vaccines for human papillomavirus (HPV) in the market are only effective against specific types of HPV, rendering them ineffective for other types of HPV infections. The objective of this research is to investigate the stability of the recombinant protein constructed, namely chimeric L1/L2 protein from HPV type 52, with improved cross-neutralization ability. The 3D model, predicted using Alphafold, Robetta, I-Tasser, and refined with Galaxy Refinement, is validated using Ramachandran plot analysis. The stability is verified through molecular dynamics simulations, considering parameters such as RMSD, RMSF, Rg, and SASA, where stable conditions are observed. The chimeric L1/L2 protein from HPV type 52 is purified using affinity chromatography, and the His-tag is cleaved using SUMO protease to obtain pure chimeric protein with the size of ~ 55 kDa. Western blot analysis confirms binding to anti-L1 HPV type 52 polyclonal antibody. The obtained vaccine candidate can be utilized as an effective prophylactic vaccine against HPV. © 2024 Taylor & Francis.

A mid-level labor preparation having the qualification and competency appropriate with working world needs is a task from vocational secondary school (VSS). Now days, VSS become an attention by wide community, as a result of the existence of government policy which is trying to empowering vocational secondary education. The policy taken is by performing the revitalization of vocational school which has the aim to improve the quality of labor competitiveness. One of the programs is teacher quality improvement through various teacher training. However, relating to this case, it is suspected that the previous vocational school teacher training is less effective, so that it needs to be conducted the analysis about the teacher training implementation. Therefore, this article will be elaborated the ways needed to be conducted in improving the educational quality and vocational school teacher development training. The ways should be considered when it is planned and implemented the effective training program, such as: determining the needs, setting the goal, determining the content of learning, selecting the participants, determining the best schedule, selecting the appropriate facilities, selecting the proper instructor, selecting and preparing the audiovisual equipment, coordinating the program and evaluating the program. © 2021 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
