A hydrographic survey can be a cumbersome sometimes. The data can be sparse, providing it can be costly, and it took a lot of manpower and time. Space-borne data like multispectral images can be a helpful tool towards hydrographic survey, especially in the shallow water area. The company like EOMAP and TCARTA make use of Satellite-Derived Bathymetry (SDB) as a tool and product. Would it be great if it also can be applied in Malaysia, especially on the low-risk job or survey planning? Enlarging the survey area and providing a continuous and detailed water depth information is the main objective in this research. In order to complement with convenience and cost reduction, the author used Landsat 8 "(free downloadable images)"in this research. Structuring the procedure is the central part of the process involving pre-processing and processing step until the final product obtained. In this research, the author used various kind of bathymetry algorithms such as Single-Band Algorithm (SBA), Green-Band Algorithm (GBA), and Stumpf. Moreover, the author also uses Principal Component Analysis (PCA) tool from ArcMap and Spear Relative Water Depth: Log-Ratio Transform tool from ENVI to derived bathymetry. All of this bathymetry algorithm gives out a different concept with a different statistical approach. The final result then will be compared and evaluated with Single-Beam Echosounder data (ground truth). © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Lithium-Ion Capacitor (LIC) has shown promising performance to meet the needs of high energy and power-density-energy storage system in the era of electric vehicles nowadays. The development of electrode materials and electrolytes in recent years has improvised LIC performance significantly. One of the active materials of LIC electrodes, activated carbon (AC), can be synthesized from various biomass, one of which is the water hyacinth. Its abundant availability and low utilization make the water hyacinth as a promising activated carbon source. To observe the most optimal physical properties of AC, this study also compares various activation temperatures. In this study, full cell LIC was fabricated using LTO based anode, and water hyacinth derived AC as the cathode. The LIC full cell was further characterized to see the material properties and electrochemical performance. Water hyacinth derived LIC can achieve a specific capacitance of 32.11 F/g, the specific energy of 17.83 Wh/kg, and a specific power of 160.53 W/kg. © 2020 Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland.

Bangka Island is an important tin producer in Indonesia, mostly from the secondary tin deposits. However, the secondary tin deposit is depleting, causing further exploration shifted to the primary tin mineral. The purpose of this study is to make a mineralization model of primary tin deposit in Bangka Island. Methods that implemented in this study are petrographic analysis, mineragraphic analysis, XRD (X-Ray Diffraction), and XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) analysis. The studied rock samples that consisted of granite, meta-sandstone, and sandstone. Some of the rocks are altered rocks with varying intensity. Petrographic and mineragraphic analysis show the presence of minerals that indicate the primary tin deposits, such as cassiterite, tourmaline, topaz, sericite, pyrite, and sphalerite. XRF analysis shows data about the value of Sn elements so that they can be classified into two classes, very high grade (> 800 ppm), and low grade (100-200 ppm). XRD analysis is necessary to do to determine the type and intensity of alterations that occur in the study area. The results of each analysis will provide supporting information regarding the primary tin mineralization process in Bangka Island. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

There is no doubt about the presence of iron sand around the west coast of West Sumatra. Several studies have been carried out, but in Ulakan Tapakis area is still under observation, and no investigation of its potential and distribution. One of the methods that can provide models and subsurface descriptions is using goelectrical resistivity method. The geoelectrical application in Ulakan Tapakis was used Wenner-Schlumberger array into 4 section. The section was designed perpendicular to the beach with a length of 47 meters for short lines and 470 meters for long line, the distance between sections was about 65 meters. The results obtained in the form of pseudosection types. Each section describes the distribution and lithology of rocks below the surface. The combination of all sections gives an overview of the iron sand model at Ulakan Tapakis. From the model obtained the results of geoelectrical measurements with the Wenner-Schlumberger array, the distribution of iron sand can be found along the coast of the study area at a depth of 0.7 m - 3 m in short line and 40 m in long line with resistivity values ranging from 52 - 289 ωm © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This paper attempts to optimise the single screw extrusion (SSE) process parameters for extruding polylactic acid (PLA)/magnesium (Mg)/hydroxyapatite (HA) composite filament, aiming for a final filament diameter of 1.75 mm to enhance process efficiency and output quality. In this study, the Taguchi method was employed to systematically evaluate how screw speed, nozzle diameter, material composition, and temperature affect filament diameter. The analysis demonstrated that screw speed, nozzle diameter, material composition, and temperature significantly affect the filament diameter. Under optimal conditions (94% wt PLA, 4% wt Mg, and 2% wt HA, 1.95 mm nozzle diameter, 6 rpm screw speed, and 175°C), the resulting filament diameter closely approached 1.75 mm. These findings enhance the fabrication efficiency and quality of composite filaments, with promising applications in advanced bone scaffolds. © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.

A studies using the resistivity method have been carried out to determine the potential of iron sand in Ulakan Tapakis West Sumatra. This study aims to establish the potential 3D modelling of iron sand. Wenner array is used to determine location of anomalies by taking 5 sections which has 180 meter length. The distance of the electrode used is 3.9 meters. Generally, Ulakan Tapakis has 3 main components of alluvial deposits, namely a layer of top sand (upper sand), middle sand, and a layer of iron sand which is divided into 2 layers, namely the bottom sand and the iron sand layer which has a resistivity value ranging from 9.53 -14135 ωm. These layers have different resistivity values depending on the constituent material. The existance of iron sand is located at depths of 0-6 meter below sea surface, with range of resistivity is 9.53-1000 ωm. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The research is experimental research that aims to determine whether there were differences in job-program- based practice with conventional practice on student learning outcomes. The trial subjects were students of the D3 Civil and Building engineering study program FT UM who took the Masonry and Concrete Construction Practice course. In the field trial, the experimental group consisted of 23 students, while the control group consisted of 22 students. This research employs t-test analysis. The result shows differences in learning outcomes between students learning using Job program- based practical methods and students learning using conventional practical learning with a t-value of 6.054 at the significance level of 0.000. In conclusion, the Job-program learning methods significantly improve the learning outcome.

Onshore geological storage of CO₂ is focused in northeastern Thailand. This study presents a case study on numerical simulations of CO₂ injection into Permian carbonate reservoir in the Sin Phu Horm gas field, which will become a depleted gas field in 2037. Schlumberger Petrel and ECLIPSE are used for reservoir modeling and simulation. One injection well located at the crest of the anticlinal structure is designed to perform injection of CO₂ into the dolomite unit of the Pha Nok Khao Formation at approximately 2037 m from earth surface. This simulation of CO₂ injection aims to verify cumulative amount of CO₂ after injection and to predict reservoir pressure for 50 years. The results show that at the end of 50-year CO₂ injection, reservoir pressure increases from 2478 to 2750 psi. The latest pressure remains below the initial pressure (3900 psi) at the beginning of production phase in 2007. With injection rate at 530 tCO₂ per day or 0.19 MtCO₂ per year up to 50 years, the total amount of injected CO₂ in the reservoir is 9.5 Mt. This case study demonstrates that the dolomite reservoir of the Sin PHu Horm field can accommodate CO₂ from constant injection rate at 530 tCO₂ per day or up to 50 years. The findings can guide site selection decisions in Permian carbonate reservoirs for CO₂ storage demonstrations. © 2023

This research aims to develop an application for selecting the best new tenant at PT Angkasa Pura II Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport Branch by utilizing Weighted Product (WP) method as the decision support system. Our approach is descriptive research with data analysis technique using four prospective tenants coded A_1 to A_4. The data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The steps for selecting the best new tenant using the WP method include determining the criteria, sorting the suitability of alternatives and criteria, determining the weight of each criterion and its normalization, calculating the score, S value as an alternative preference, and calculating the ranking, V value as the final alternative preference. Based on the final calculation results, the new tenant coded A_4 is the best alternative based on the data collected from the Financial Management (FHFM) Unit and the Commercial Unit, with a value of V_4 is 0.294.

The development of parks in the city of Bandung, especially the northern part, has related to the history of the town of Bandung during the Dutch colonial period. Ijzermanpark (1919) is a park with the best landscape design, with a neat and colorful flower garden design equipped with a fountain garden feature. It changed its name to Ganesha Park after Indonesian independence day. Ganesha Park has continued as a public park that is used for family recreation. The landscape elements in Ganesha Park are also equipped to support this park. This study aims to determine how completely it was developed and how it influenced its function as a public park. The research method using the descriptive qualitative method by identifying and analyzing the phenomena described in the details. From this research, it was found that some elements of the Ganesha Park landscape were preserved, some had been replaced, and some were completely new. These elements become a unitary landscape which is expected to increase the comfort of activities in Ganesha Park.
