This paper considers the performance improvement of PLC-based process control systems through Industry 4.0 by harnessing cyber-physical systems (CPS), which is an integration of control, computation, and networking to intertwine intensely cyber and physical components. To accomplish these needs, open process control (OPC) unified architecture (UA) is exercised as a horizontal and vertical integrator of the CPS-based process automation. The three interacting tank process is the preferred testing plant because this system has become a proven benchmark for testing advanced control system in the laboratory scale. In this paper, the cyber component accomplishes parameter optimization of the PID controller for the level control of the three interacting tank process and schedules the appropriate PID controller that matches the level operating conditions. The control implementation shows that CPS for the level control of the three interacting tank process works well by resulting in smaller integral square error (ISE) value. Moreover, the cloud-based database can be established directly using OPC UA for real-time monitoring of the process through websites using the Internet network with data delivery rate of 100%.

Communication is important in human life because communication can bridge all forms of ideas to be conveyed by someone. And the communication media commonly used today are via mobile phones, which can be via SMS messages, WhatsApp, or telephone. The problem is, in some areas the absence of signals or blank spots is a problem for those who rely on communication via mobile phones. For this reason, it is necessary to optimize the short message media in the Arduino and Bluetooth-based blank spot areas. Here the main goal is to make it easier for humans to communicate via mobile phones even in difficult conditions and without a data packet or WIFI signal. The tools used are android, the Lo-Ra module as a long-distance wireless transmission technology platform that can reach distances of 10km, and then also use the Arduino Pro Mini as a microcontroller board and Bluetooth terminal that functions to transmit data from android to Arduino and then forward it to Lo Ra. From the test results, it was found that this tool works well in the blank spot area or difficult to signal, without the need for data packages or WIFI we can still communicate well through the short message media on the cell phone. Based on the results of the questionnaire distributed to Primary Teacher Education Students, 96% of students said that Physics is difficult to understand because the material is very complex, many formulas, especially the learning process is done online. This study aims to describe the influence of providing feedback on the motivation of Primary Teacher Education Students in primary school physics courses. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Meanwhile, the instrument used was a questionnaire which was distributed to 115 elementary school education students. The result of the research shows that giving feedback consistently is able to motivate students. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaires distributed, each indicator is of very good value.

In this presented paper, an effort to improve the accuracy of the bathymetric model derived from optical satellite imagery is discussed. According to the previous study, the accuracy approximately measures in 2 m for depth up to 10 m by means of the Global Bathymetric Inversion Methods. Therefore, the improvement is done based on the so-called Cluster-Based Method applied to the analytical and log-ratio methods. The Cluster-Based Method partitions the working area on the by classifying the errors between the known depths and the predicted ones. The data for the known and predicted depths are acquired from the in-situ survey and the Sentinel-2 imagery. Improvement by one-third to the accuracy of the resulting bathymetry is obtained.

The weakness of an outdoor solar water heater (SWH) experiments is the difficulty in determining its thermal behavior. The fluctuation of solar radiation intensity causes the supply of energy received by SWH also fluctuate. The result is that the thermal behavior of the SWH cannot be known for specific parameters. This paper aims to investigate the thermal behavior of an active type SWH containing paraffin wax using the constant heat flux method. A phase change material (PCM) inserted into the capsule. The capsules were arranged in a tank to form a heat exchanger (HE). The thermocouples were mounted both on the waterside and the PCM side. The solar simulator installed on the top of the collector, and the SHW system placed indoors. The heat flux and water flow were set at 1000 W/m2 and 2 LPM, respectively. The temperatures of water and PCM for 143 minutes charging recorded. The data obtained were used to analyze the thermal behavior of water and PCM. The results showed that the average heating rate of water and PCM was 0.227 °C/min and 0.205 °C/min, respectively. The value of this adjacent average heating rate shows that HE has functioned well in removing heat energy from water. The accumulated thermal energy produced was 13.08 MJ. Indoor experiments can reveal the thermal behavior of the SWH-PCM systems.

To develop a good application, the aspect that needs to be considered is to design a User Experience and User Interface that suits the needs of the users themselves. One of the design methods that can be used is User Centered Design method. This method focuses on designing the user's needs where it aims to provide comfort for the user and provide a relevant interface for the user. The study was conducted in Information Systems program of Telkom University. The design will then be tested on each lecturer and student in Information Systems program of Telkom University. Pempek is a traditional ethnic food originated from Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia. Currently, there is not exist any profiles which could be used as a determining factor for quality, originality, and ethnicity of pempek. The objective of this research was to obtain the chemical profile of pempek as a determining factor of quality, originality and ethnicity. The samples were collected from the ten famous branded vendors in Palembang. The fish used in making pempek of the samples are snake head fish, Spanish mackerel, and the mix of snake head and Spanish mackerel. The type of pempek used in this experiment was steamed cook pempek lenjer (cylindrical) type. The analysis was performed at a KAN accredited laboratory. It was found that the energy content of pempek used in this experiment was in the range of 125 to 160 kkal/100 g sample and all the pempek used had a 0% of fat. All pempek used had 17 types of amino acid, and all of them had an essential amino acid. The significant finding was that the concentration of glutamic acid was 200% of the concentration of common concentration which indicated that all the vendors used artificial mono-sodium glutamate to improve the taste of pempek. It was concluded that the chemical profile found on this research could be used as database for creating a standard of identity of pempek.
