With the slowing growth of the telecommunication market and the intense competition for existing customers, Customer Churn Management has become a crucial task for all mobile network operators. Recommendation models based on customer behaviors are widely used by operators to provide diverse telecom tariff packages for suitable people and thus improve customer satisfaction. To address the low precision rate and data granularity of prior studies, this study combined rotation forest(ROF) and LightGBM and construct a hybrid algorithm(ROF-LGB). Grid search method was used in parameter tuning, and ten-fold crossvalidation method was used to prevent overfitting. Using mobile data generated by operators, ROF-LGB method was tested and compared with other five traditional machine learning *** results showed that ROF-LGB method achieved better performance with better precision rate and execution efficiency in telecom tariff package recommendation.

This paper studies a supply chain quality coordination and risk-sharing problem. We find when the supply chain is coordinated under internal and external quality fault existing, it can be obtained the optimal profit, order quantity and risk sharing of the supply chain parties for each. And when the supply chain is coordinated and the item has not been sold, the supplier should allow the seller return his order item with wholesale price. The total optimal expected profit is smaller when internal and external quality fault is appeared but the risking share is larger. The risk sharing is positively correlated with the fault rate but is noncorrelated with the return policy. The risk sharing of the supply chain is also positively correlated with the wholesale price, retail price and the seller is not zero risk sharing1.

We investigate an integrated inventory routing problem (IRP) in which one supplier with limited production capacity distributes a single item to a set of retailers using homogeneous vehicles. In the objective function we consider a loading cost which is often neglected in previous research. Considering the deterioration in the products, we set a soft time window during the transportation stage and a hard time window during the sales stage, and to prevent jams and waiting cost, the time interval of two successive vehicles returning to the supplier's facilities is required not to be overly short. Combining all of these factors, a two-echelon supply chain mixed integer programming model under discrete time is proposed, and a two-phase algorithm is developed. The first phase uses tabu search to obtain the retailers' ordering matrix. The second phase is to generate production scheduling and distribution routing, adopting a saving algorithm and a neighbourhood search, respectively. Computational experiments are conducted to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm. © 2014 Tao Jia et al.

Service quality guarantee is an important tool for firms to boost demands, put up prices, and enhance profits. However, when promised quality defect is too high or low, the impact on the organization and the customer is usually negative. Therefore, determining the level of promised quality defect is of critical strategic and tactical importance in businesses. Yet, systematic quantitative methods aren't found to help managers determine promised quality defect. We propose a simple but powerful model in finding the optimal promised service quality defect. The model makes trade-offs between benefits and costs of service defect guarantees. Firstly, the decision of promised quality defect is analysed when service price is exogenous. We secondly investigated when service price is endogenous, how can a service provider make decisions on service price and promised quality defect simultaneously to maximize its profit. Thirdly, comprehensive analysis of how service providers promise the optimal quality defect from two aspects of demand and supply is given. Numerical analysis is conducted to illustrate the interactive effect of endogenous service price and affected service supply. In the end, we conclude the paper and suggest areas for future research. With only definitional changes, the model can be applied to other guarantee contexts.

This paper presents an multiple disturbance rejection approach for rejecting narrow-band disturbances as well as norm-bounded random disturbances, with applications to high precision positioning of a Voice Coil Motor (VCM) actuated servo stage. An adaptive optimal phase filter design method is proposed for the rejection of frequency-varying narrow-band disturbances at unknown frequency range. With a parallel connection of the proposed adaptive filter, a robust H∞ controller can be synthesized with mixed sensitivity optimization for the purpose of both robust stability and rejection of norm-bounded random disturbances. The proposed control architecture is implemented to a VCM servo gantry to achieve high precision positioning in the presence of various disturbances. © IFAC.

According to literature and field interview, the study designs questionnaire about Leader's Emotional Competencies and acquires 124 valid questionnaires and makes respective project analysis, factor analysis and reliability analysis based on the first- hand data according to self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and social skills sub-questionnaires by SPSS17.0. The study tests construct validity, deletes those items which influence construct validity of sub-questionnaires and extracts some factors with higher construct validity. In order to test reliability, the research makes analysis of those factors and their items acquired from factor analysis on level of factor and sub-questionnaire, and deletes these items which only have lower reliability estimate value or different from those with the same index. Moreover, the research concludes and settles emotional competencies for cadres in China and conceives leader emotional competence model.

Dynamic job shop scheduling/rescheduling is a frequently occurring and highly relevant problem in practice. However, in the past, due to being short of the real-time manufacturing information derived from the bottom-level manufacturing spots, the scheduling solutions produced by the traditional job shop scheduling systems are always unable to satisfy the practical requirements well. Therefore, in this research, a dynamic job rescheduling approach is proposed in which radio frequency identification (RFID) technology is utilised to acquire the real-time manufacturing information produced at the manufacturing spots and a dynamic rescheduling mathematical model is established to deal with the four types of uncertain events frequently occurring in job shop production. Endeavouring to resolve the dynamic scheduling mathematical model effectively and efficiently, a hybrid genetic algorithm (GA) by integrating hill-climbing search method is introduced. A prototype system of RFID-based dynamic job rescheduling is developed and the numerical case studies are carried out for verifying the feasibility and validity.© 2011 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

This paper presents an internal model-based approach for trajectory tracking in the discrete time-varying setting. A newly designed parallel kinematics servo gantry is well suited for high precision contouring at high speed ranges. The discrete time-varying internal model-based control is developed for controlling the servo gantry system to track complicated trajectories generated by linear time-varying systems. Based on a novel parallel time-varying internal model structure, a low order robust discrete time-varying stabilizer is synthesized. The proposed tracking control architecture is deployed on the novel parallel kinematics servo gantry system to achieve high precision contour tracking performance for frequency-varying signals generated by high order time-varying autonomous system. © IFAC.

As a common choice strategy for consumers, variety-seeking has a direct impact on the business performance of enterprises, and has been studied for decades in management science and marketing research. Existing research tends to find factors which influence variety-seeking by means of questionnaires and laboratory experiments. Based on the important factors, marketers develop marketing plans which are tailored to consumers. However, due to personal motivation, the results of questionnaires and laboratory experiments may not fully reflect internal states of ***, we propose a data-driven framework, using ensemble learning for predicting variety-seeking behavior based on real student consumption data. Experiments demonstrate that our model outperforms separate machine learning algorithms and can effectively predict variety-seeking behavior. We further analyze the contribution of each feature towards the prediction, achieving some useful conclusions for the study of variety-seeking intervention mechanism.

Gut-liver-brain axis is a three-way highway of information interaction system among the gastrointestinal tract,liver,and nervous *** the past few decades,breakthrough progress has been made in the gut liver brain axis,mainly through understanding its formation mechanism and increasing treatment *** this review,we discuss various complex networks including barrier permeability,gut hormones,gut microbial metabolites,vagus nerve,neurotransmitters,immunity,brain toxic metabolites,β-amyloid(Aβ)metabolism,and epigenetic regulation in the gut-liver-brain *** therapies containing antibiotics,probiotics,prebiotics,synbiotics,fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT),polyphenols,low FODMAP diet and nanotechnology application regulate the gut liver brain ***,some special treatments targeting gut-liver axis include farnesoid X receptor(FXR)agonists,takeda G protein-coupled receptor 5(TGR5)agonists,glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1)receptor antagonists and fibroblast growth factor 19(FGF19)*** gut-brain axis embraces cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT),antidepressants and tryptophan metabolism-related *** liver-brain axis contains epigenetic regulation and Aβmetabolism-related *** the future,a better understanding of gut-liver-brain axis interactions will promote the development of novel preventative strategies and the discovery of precise therapeutic targets in multiple diseases.
