This paper puts forth a model of the transportation and inventory integration and optimization problem based on system and optimal theory which we take into account the antinomy relationship of transportation and inventory and the antinomy relationship of inventory and stock-out in supply chain logistics system. We consider that the resources availab.e and the total time of inventory and transportation are *** the transportation process, transportation cost, transportation time and transportation capacity may vary between the two adjacent nodes for the reason of the transfer among various transportation modes. When the mode of the transportation is changed, we need consider the transshipment time and transshipment *** issue is a multi-transportation option network question under the normal distribution of the minimum total cost which consists of transportation cost, inventory cost, stock-out cost and time cost. In this paper, we comparatively study and specifically calculate the minimum total transportation and inventory cost in several different cases. Our paper shows that the result is not only more reasonable and effective than other models which can be seen in the appendix but also more in line with the actual situation of the supply chain logistics system. We can get our purpose that we may have a certain referential significance to reduce the total cost and raise the total profit of the supply chain logistics system.

Supply chain integration nowadays is considered as an important approach to building and sustaining advantages. Many previous empirical researches focus on the effect of supply chain integration on the firms' performance, yet, the antecedence of supply chain integration is still largely unknown. This paper investigates the relationship between environmental uncertainty (including demand uncertainty, supply uncertainty and technology uncertainty) and supply chain integration (including customer integration, supplier integration and internal integration) with 139 samples from Chinese manufacturing industry. The results reveal both supply uncertainty and technology uncertainty significantly influence supply chain integration; the effect of supply uncertainty is negative, while that of technology uncertainty is positive. However, demand uncertainty just has a significant effect on internal integration. The relationship between demand uncertainty and external integration (including customer integration and supplier integration) is mediated by the internal integration.

This paper analyzes the techno-economic performance of 600 MW coal-fired power plant with and without ammonia-based CO2 capture process, based on the operating data of an existing power plant. The simulation and analysis, with fully consideration of features of existing coal-fired power plants and the integration of CO2 capture process with steam cycle, are made to reveal the thermal and environmental performances of coal-fired power plants with and without CO2 capture. The results show that, when adopting CO2 capture process, the plant efficiency will decrease significantly, and the cost for electricity will increase dramatically. By comparison, the performances of the ammonia-based CO2 capture system are obviously better than that of the amine-based system, which may result from the fact that aqueous ammonia has a lower reaction heat demand for absorbent regenerating. © 2010 IEEE.

Roadmap methods were widely used in route planning fields, both for robots and unmanned aircrafts. Traditional roadmap is constituted by connecting the vertexes of convex obstacle, which is related to the locations of start and goal of route, so the roadmap can not be reused when anyone of start and goal changed. Absence of reusability reduces the efficiency of route planning by using roadmap. A new roadmap constitution method was proposed in this paper, which is build on dividing the 2D configuration space into multi-scale grids and setting nodes of roadmap on grid boundary using Level-Set method, same method was used to construct the map cells of roadmap between any two nodes lays on same grid . The roadmap constituted with new method can be reused when the start or goal was changed;it is efficient for replanning problem. © 2010 IEEE.

Based on Particle Filter, Gravity Gradient-Terrain aided position technology is proposed in this paper. With the sensitivity of gravity gradient to terrain, the gravity gradient reference map can be computed from the local terrain elevation data. The position can be actualized through matching the real-time measured gravity gradient data to the prepared gravity gradient reference map. The most widely used approximate filtering method is the extended Kaman filter (EKF). EKF is computationally simple but, the convergence of the state estimation for the position is not guaranteed. Particle filter (PF) makes use of the non-linear state and measurement functions, no linearization technology is needed. PF can assure the convergence of the state estimation which follows from the classical results on convergence of Bayesian estimators. Simulations have been done and Particle filter has been shown to be a superior alternative to the EKF in the gravity gradient-terrain matching navigation systems. © 2009 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical engineering.

According to the characteristics of food additives wastewater with great variety of quality, complicated composition, the processes of hydrolysis acidification-contacting oxidation-catalytic ozonization-biological aerated filter(BAF) is applied. Through this processes, the COD of effluent can fall below 100 mg/L from about 2000 to 7000 mg/L of influent. The minimum COD of effluent is 33 mg/L. Quality of effluent is up to the integrated wastewater discharge standard. After treatment of hydrolysis acidification process, the COD of wastewater is from 5290 mg/L to 2323 mg/L. Besides, it can change the molecular structure of compounds rupture them into smaller molecules, and improve their biodegradability, so making the wastewater more easily treated by contacting oxidation process. The average COD of contacting oxidation process's effluent is 268 mg/L. The catalytic ozonization preoxidation process could improve the biodegradability of wastewater, whose BOD5/COD ratio was from 0.3 up to 0.44 when the COD was removed 45%. The pilot plant study showed that the hydrolysis acidification processes and catalytic ozonization (using ceramsite enwraped by MnO 2 as catalysts)-biological aerated filter processes are the key elements of the processes treating with high concentration food additives wastewater stably meeting water quality of discharging limit.

In order to investigate the sliding mechanism and process of expansive soil slope during digging and raining-evaporating courses, a FEM program named UESEPDC was designed based on the elasticity-plasticity-damage constitutive model and the elasticity-plasticity-damage consolidation model of unsaturated expansive soil proposed by the authors, and the numerical analysis on solid-liquid-gas tri-phases and multi-field couple problem was conducted for four stages: Raining and evaporating before digging;The moment at digging finishing;Three days after digging finishing;Multi- raining-evaporating cycles. The fields of stress, displacement, pore water pressure, pore air pressure, water content and suction in an expansive soil slope were obtained, and the pictures of crack damage evolution and plastic zone development in the same expansive soil slope for each analysis stage were shown. The research results clearly reveal the mechanism of expansive soil slope sliding progressively.

Automatic needle segmentation using 3D Gray-level Hough Transform in 3D ultrasound images

This paper describes a novel 3D needle segmentation algorithm for 3DUS data. The algorithm includes the 3D Gray-level Hough Transform (3DGHT), which is based on the representation (ψ, θ, ρ, α) of straight lines in 3D space and Local Dimensionality Estimator (GST). Different from the traditional Hough transformation the process of binarization is not needed, because the proposed algorithm adopts the original gray level image directly. We tested it with the synthetic data and water phantom. The results show that our algorithm works well in 3D US images with angular deviation less than 1° and position deviation less than 1 mm. © 2008 Binary Information Press.

The damage constitutive relation of entire rock failure process was established using the theory of representative volume element obeying the Iognormal distribution law, and the integrated damages constitutive model of rock under triaxial compression was established. Comparing with triaxial compression test result, it shows that this model correctly reflects the relationship of stress-strain. At the same time, according to the principle of the rock fatigue failure that conforms to completely the static entire process curve, a new method of establishing cyclic fatigue damage evolution equation was discussed, this method form is simple and the physics significance is clear, it may join preferably the damage relations of the rock static entire process curve.

A small piece of 〈110〉 orientated relaxor-based ferroelectric Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3 (PMN-PT) single crystals was embedded in Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O 3-Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO 3 (PMN-PNN-PT) polycrystalline matrix to form the fully dense disk by spark plasma sintering (SPS) technique. Specimens were subsequently annealed to promote the boundary migration of the template single-crystal through a process termed as solid-state single crystal growth. It was found that the addition of excess 5 wt% PbO can promote the crystal growth, and the 2D morphology with V-shaped single crystals of PMN-PNN-PT were also observed. The possible growth mechanism was discussed.
