The random walk is one of the most basic dynamic properties of complex networks,which has gradually become a research hotspot in recent years due to its many applications in actual *** important characteristic of the random walk is the mean time to absorption,which plays an extremely important role in the study of topology,dynamics and practical application of complex *** the mean time to absorption on the regular iterative self-similar network models is an important way to explore the inﬂuence of self-similarity on the properties of random walks on the *** existing literatures have proved that even local self-similar structures can greatly affect the properties of random walks on the global network,but they have failed to prove whether these effects are related to the scale of these self-similar *** this article,we construct and study a class of Horizontal Par-titioned Sierpinski Gasket network model based on the classic Sierpinski gasket net-work,which is composed of local self-similar structures,and the scale of these structures will be controlled by the partition coefﬁcient ***,the analytical expressions and approximate expressions of the mean time to absorption on the network model are obtained,which prove that the size of the self-similar structure in the network will directly restrict the inﬂuence of the self-similar structure on the properties of random walks on the ***,we also analyzed the mean time to absorption of different absorption nodes on the network toﬁnd the location of the node with the highest absorption efﬁciency.

Time-Locked Puzzle (TLP) and timed-release encryption (T-RE) are both time-based locking mechanisms. The former requires the decryptor to perform a predetermined amount of computation, while the latter requires a trusted server to release the decryption information after a preset time, thereby sending information to the future. As research has progressed, many feature-rich TLPs and TREs have emerged. However, TLP and TRE still face issues in practical deployment. The imbalance in computation load with TLP can result in significant computational burdens in many deployment scenarios, while the timed release in TRE necessitates that the server remains online. To address these issues, our goal is to develop a multifunctional solution to offload the computational burden and allow the server to be offline. Our scheme focuses on RSA-based TLPs and builds upon the sequential TRE schemes proposed by Chvojka and Jager et al.(ESORICS’21). We construct a multi-timeline scheme that aggregates multiple functions and allows the server to be offline. The multi-timeline structure proposed in our scheme, consisting of a main timeline, sub-timelines, and reward timelines, allows different timelines to assume different functions, and the main timeline controls the information release of the remaining timelines to achieve an efficient puzzle-solving release mechanism. The reward timeline provides a transfer account for storing bonuses for entities that solve puzzles, which achieves a self-balancing mechanism for computing resources. Due to the completion of a transaction guaranteed by the adaptor signature and smart contract, which ensure the atomicity of the transaction, the scheme achieves a traceable fair trading mechanism and a public verification mechanism. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

A new amplitude-only synthesis approach in quintuple electric dipoles(EDs)is proposed to enable the regulation of power flow in the azimuthal *** regulation methodology is investigated analytically with double ED,triple ED and quintuple ED ***,when the phase difference between the EDs switches,the double ED model,acting as a reconfigurable source,can work in two modes with different power flow directions,i.e.,unidirectional mode and bidirectional ***,from the triple ED model,it is verified that the power flow in the two working modes can be regulated to the desired direction in the azimuthal plane with high precision by controlling the feeding amplitudes of the ***,a quintuple ED model is developed to enhance the symmetry and consistency of the power flow regulation in the ***,a prototype of the azimuthal beam steering system,including digitally controlled radio-frequency(RF)frontend tuning circuits,optimized practical feeding elements,and an end-fire radiator,is designed,fabricated and *** unidirectional and bidirectional modes are observed,and satisfactory single-beam and dual-beam steering performance in the azimuthal plane is *** most phased arrays that realize beam steering by configuring phases,the beam steering of the proposed reconfigurable source in each mode can be arbitrarily synthesized only by the amplitudes of the quintuple feeding elements,which provides a new route for realizing low-cost and multifunctional beam-steering systems.

Squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck is currently the eighth most common cancer worldwide. In recent years, medical researchers have proposed a promising immune checkpoint blockade treatment to treat the disease, however, only a small number of patients with advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (about 13%) can benefit from immune checkpoint blockade therapy. Therefore, assessing the patient's response to immune checkpoint blockade before treatment can help develop a treatment strategy. Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) are complex structures that often appear around tumors, and their presence suggests strong immunoactivity and sensitivity to immunotherapy. Therefore, the presence or absence of TLSs is a valid indicator of the patient's response to immune checkpoint blockade before surgery. At present, the detection methods for TLSs are all postoperative pathological examinations, but their speed is slow and aggressive. However, few studies have employed non-invasive methods to detect and assess the TLS status of cancer before surgery. In this paper, we propose a 3D convolutional neural network UDNet based on the original U-Net and Dense-Net, which can determine the presence of TLSs by using the patient's contrast-enhanced CT image. At last, we verify the ability of the model to predict TLSs by comparing the predicting results of the model and the predicting results of three experienced clinicians. The results show that the accuracy of UDNet (72.7%) is much higher than the average accuracy (42.4%) predicted by the three experienced clinicians. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents three relatively effective numerical algorithms,i.e.,94 LVI algorithms of OIpU(one-iteration-perupdate) type,to handle time-dependent QP(quadratic programming) problems subject to two constraints respectively(i.e.,equality and inequality constraints,equality and bound constraints,or inequality and bound constraints).Specifically,two "bridges" play essential parts of the methods(i.e.,the first "bridge" makes a QP problem convert to an LVI [linear variational inequality],and the second "bridge" makes the LVI convert to a PLPE [piecewise-linear projection equation]).On the basis of the standard94 LVI algorithm,the methods only update once through the solution of the previous sampling time ***,we conduct a number of experiments to substantiate the three algorithms respectively,which use exponential functions,log functions,and trigonometric functions in corresponding coefficients of the experimental examples.

Slot filling and intent detection are two highly correlated tasks in spoken language understanding (SLU). Recent SLU research attempts to explore zero-shot prompting techniques in large language models to alleviate the data scarcity problem. Nevertheless, the existing prompting work ignores the cross-task interaction information for SLU, which leads to sub-optimal performance. To solve this problem, we present the pioneering work of Cross-task Interactive Prompting (CroPrompt) for SLU, which enables the model to interactively leverage the information exchange across the correlated tasks in SLU. Additionally, we further introduce a multi-task self-consistency mechanism to mitigate the error propagation caused by the intent information injection. We conduct extensive experiments on the standard SLU benchmark and the results reveal that CroPrompt consistently outperforms the existing prompting approaches. In addition, the multi-task self-consistency mechanism can effectively ease the error propagation issue, thereby enhancing the performance. We hope this work can inspire more research on cross-task prompting for SLU. © 2025 IEEE.

In this study,a graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))based ternary catalyst Cu O/Cu Fe_(2)O_(4)/gC_(3)N_(4)(CCCN)is successfully prepared thorough calcination *** confirming the structure and composition of CCCN,the as-synthesized composites are utilized to activate persulfate(PS)for the degradation of organic *** using tetracycline hydrochloride(TC)as pollutant surrogate,the effects of initial p H,PS and catalyst concentration on the degradation rate are systematically *** the optimized reaction condition,CCCN/PS is able to give 99%degradation extent and 74%chemical oxygen demand removal in assistance of simulated solar light,both of which are apparently greater than that of either Cu O/Cu Fe_(2)O_(4)and pristine g-C_(3)N_(4).The great improvement in degradation can be assignable to the effective separation of photoinduced carriers thanks to the integration between Cu O/Cu Fe_(2)O_(4)and g-C_(3)N_(4),as well as the increased reaction sites given by the g-C_(3)N_(4)***,the scavenging trials imply that the major oxidative matters involved in the decomposition are hydroxyl radicals(·OH),superoxide radicals(·O_(2)^(-))and photo-induced holes(h^(+)).
