CTR prediction plays an important role in increasing company revenue and user experience, and many efforts start with historical behavior to uncover user interest. There are two main problems with previous works: (1) When most previous works mined interests from users’ historical behaviors, they only focus on implicit or explicit interests. (2) When most previous works mined user interests through the relationship between target users and similar users, the representation of target users was not rich and accurate enough, resulting in less accurate item recommendations. Therefore the Deep User and Item Inter-Matching Network (DUIIN) is proposed in this paper to solve the above problems. First, we design Item-to-Item Network (IIN), using two different sub-networks Evolving Interest Network (EIN) and Feature Interaction Network (FIN) to mine the hidden interests and explicit interests shown by users’ historical behaviors, respectively. Then the User-to-User Network (UUN) is designed to mine user interests through the relationship between target users and similar users after representing the target users more accurately and richly. The experimental results show that the DUIIN model proposed in this paper performs better than other state-of-the-art models. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Human avatar has become a novel type of 3D asset with various applications. Ideally, a human avatar should be fully customizable to accommodate different settings and environments. In this work, we introduce NECA, an approach capable of learning versatile human representation from monocular or sparse-view videos, enabling granular customization across aspects such as pose, shadow, shape, lighting and texture. The core of our approach is to represent humans in complementary dual spaces and predict disentangled neural fields of geometry, albedo, shadow, as well as an external lighting, from which we are able to derive realistic rendering with high-frequency details via volumetric rendering. Extensive experiments demonstrate the advantage of our method over the state-of-the-art methods in photorealistic rendering, as well as various editing tasks such as novel pose synthesis and relighting. Multi-Granular Multimodal Clue Fusion for Meme Understanding

With the continuous emergence of various social media platforms frequently used in daily life, the multimodal meme understanding (MMU) task has been garnering increasing attention. MMU aims to explore and comprehend the meanings of memes from various perspectives by performing tasks such as metaphor recognition, sentiment analysis, intention detection, and offensiveness detection. Despite making progress, limitations persist due to the loss of fine-grained metaphorical visual clue and the neglect of multimodal text-image weak correlation. To overcome these limitations, we propose a multi-granular multimodal clue fusion model (MGMCF) to advance MMU. Firstly, we design an object-level semantic mining module to extract object-level image feature clues, achieving fine-grained feature clue extraction and enhancing the model’s ability to capture metaphorical details and semantics. Secondly, we propose a brand-new global-local cross-modal interaction model to address the weak correlation between text and images. This model facilitates effective interaction between global multimodal contextual clues and local unimodal feature clues, strengthening their representations through a bidirectional cross-modal attention mechanism. Finally, we devise a dual-semantic guided training strategy to enhance the model’s understanding and alignment of multimodal representations in the semantic space. Experiments conducted on the widely-used MET-MEME bilingual dataset demonstrate significant improvements over state-of-the-art baselines. Specifically, there is an 8.14% increase in precision for offensiveness detection task, and respective accuracy enhancements of 3.53%, 3.89%, and 3.52% for metaphor recognition, sentiment analysis, and intention detection tasks. These results, underpinned by in-depth analyses, underscore the effectiveness and potential of our approach for advancing MMU. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Nowadays, deep learning has made rapid progress in the field of multi-exposure image fusion. However, it is still challenging to extract available features while retaining texture details and color. To address this difficult issue, in this paper, we propose a coordinated learning network for detail-refinement in an end-to-end manner. Firstly, we obtain shallow feature maps from extreme over/under-exposed source images by a collaborative extraction module. Secondly, smooth attention weight maps are generated under the guidance of a self-attention module, which can draw a global connection to correlate patches in different locations. With the cooperation of the two aforementioned used modules, our proposed network can obtain a coarse fused image. Moreover, by assisting with an edge revision module, edge details of fused results are refined and noise is suppressed effectively. We conduct subjective qualitative and objective quantitative comparisons between the proposed method and twelve state-of-the-art methods on two available public datasets, respectively. The results show that our fused images significantly outperform others in visual effects and evaluation metrics. In addition, we also perform ablation experiments to verify the function and effectiveness of each module in our proposed method. Community microgrid is a kind of new power system that acts as an intermediary between community consumers and the grid, playing an important role in realising distributed autonomy and improving the power supply level. To achieve optimal power dispatch in community microgrid, this paper establishes a Stackelberg game model with the community microgrid operator (CMO) as the leader and the consumers aggregator as the follower, and combines the internal pricing method with the demand response mechanism. The paper uses a combination of genetic algorithm and solver to solve the Stackelberg game model to maximise the interests of all parties. Simulation results show that the model can secure the interests of each game subject, balance power supply and demand, and promote peak shaving and valley filling of electrical loads.

With the development of distributed energy systems, pricing different energy sources in microgrids has become a significant challenge. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an real-time pricing method through market auction based on multi-agent reinforcement learning. The energy supply side provides different energy production and quotations, while consumers on the energy demand side freely quote and purchase the required energy in the energy market based on their own needs. The final transaction price of different energy sources is determined by the quotes of the buyer and seller who have reached the transaction. The simulation results indicate that the proposed pricing method have a good performance.

This paper considers a joint design for communication beamforming matrices and radar waveform in a scenario where a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar and a MIMO communication system coexist. We propose a joint optimizing method to maximize the sum rate by designing the communication beamforming matrices and the radar waveform. We give consideration to power constraints for both radar and communication system. In order to guarantee the radar performance, we also consider the similarity constraint of the radar waveform. This paper formulates two convex optimization problems and proposes an alternating iterative algorithm. Finally, the simulation results verify that the proposed algorithm can effectively raise the sum rate.

Hypoplastic left heart syndrome(HLHS)is a rare,complex,and incredibly foetal congenital heart *** decrease neonatal mortality,evolving HLHS(eHLHS)in pregnant women should be critically diagnosed as soon as ***,diagnosis is currently heavily dependent on skilled medical professionals using foetal cardiac ultrasound images,making it difficult to rapidly and easily examine for this ***,the authors propose a cost-effective deep learning framework for rapid diagnosis of eHLHS(RDeH),which we have named ***,the framework implements a coarseto-fine two-stage detection approach,with a structure classification network for 4D human foetal cardiac ultrasound images from various spatial and temporal domains,and a fine detection module with weakly-supervised localisation for high-precision nidus localisation and physician *** experiments extensively compare the authors’network with other state-of-the-art methods on a 4D human foetal cardiac ultrasound image dataset and show two main benefits:(1)it achieved superior average accuracy of 99.37%on three categories of foetal ultrasound images from different cases;(2)it demonstrates visually fine detection performance with weakly supervised *** framework could be used to accelerate the diagnosis of eHLHS,and hence significantly lessen reliance on experienced medical physicians.

Code smells slow down software system development and makes them harder to maintain. Existing research aims to develop automatic detection algorithms to reduce the labor and time costs within the detection process. Deep learning techniques have recently been demonstrated to enhance the performance of recognizing code smells even more than metric-based heuristic detection algorithms. As large-scale pre-trained models for Programming Languages (PL), such as CodeT5, have lately achieved the top results in a variety of downstream tasks, some researchers begin to explore the use of pre-trained models to extract the contextual semantics of code to detect code smells. However, little research has employed contextual code semantics relationship between code snippets obtained by pre-trained models to identify code smells. In this paper, we investigate the use of the pre-trained model CodeT5 to extract semantic relationships between code snippets to detect feature envy, which is one of the most common code smells. In addition, to investigate the performance of these semantic relationships extracted by pre-trained models of different architectures on detecting feature envy, we compare CodeT5 with two other pre-trained models CodeBERT and CodeGPT. We have performed our experimental evaluation on ten open-source projects, our approach improves F-measure by 29.32% on feature envy detection and 16.57% on moving destination recommendation. Using semantic relations extracted by several pre-trained models to detect feature envy outperforms the state-of-the-art. This shows that using this semantic relation to detect feature envy is promising. To enable future research on feature envy detection, we have made all the code and datasets utilized in this article open source.

Multi-microgrid (MMG) systems offer notable advantages in terms of power sharing and mutual support when compared to individual microgrids (MGs). This paper presents a based on distributed event-triggered consensus strategy for optimizing the economic dispatch of multiple microgrids. The incorporation of the event-triggered mechanism into the multi-microgrid framework significantly reduces unnecessary communication among microgrids in contrast to the conventional time-triggered approach. For the multi-microgrid setup, a two-layer control strategy consisting of inter-microgrid and intra-microgrid layers is employed to achieve coherence by regulating the micro-incremental rates of distributed generation (DG) units. Leaderless event-triggered consistency is utilized for inter-microgrid coordination, while leader event-triggered consistency is implemented for intra-microgrid coordination, ultimately realizing the economic objective of minimizing the operational costs of the multi-microgrid system. Simulation results validate the efficacy of introducing the event-triggered mechanism and its impact on the economic dispatch of the multi-microgrid system.
